These boots are not WIDE as described. Uncomfortable

Received these boots with dirty used orthotics in them. They didn't care when brought to their attention. I will not be purchasing any more Columbia products!

Took over 2 weeks to get the shoes delivered. Just hard to believe in this day and age.

I ordered wide and these were narrow. There is no way these shoes should be sized as wide.

Looks like a great hiking boot. Unfortunately, if you are looking for a wide boot, this boot runs narrow in the wide width.

Lacing hook on right boot fell off first time trying them on.

My boyfriend is a mailman and needs sturdy boots to deliver mail in all kinds of weather. I got him the dark grey newton ridge plus II and one of the shoes soles started to separate from the rest of the shoe to form a small hole for water to get through, maybe six months after purchase. We went through their warranty process, which took several months, for them to tell us it was not repairable and gave us a store credit to purchase a new pair. I bought another pair of the same boot and it has torn less than a year later in the same spot :-(. Don't purchase. Better to take your money elsewhere.

Came broken, still had to pay shipping. When you have to pay to return a broken product, it's pretty messed up.

As others have stated, the "wide" is not wide enough if you actually wear wide shoes. I could tell before I even tried to cram my foot into it that it wasn't wide enough. To top it off, in the bottom of the shipping box (which was oddly sealed with Columbia paper box tape over plastic box tape that had not been cut) I found the packing list from the previous wide-footed purchaser of this pair of boots. It had his email address on it, so I emailed him and we've had a good laugh about the whole deal. I should have spent some time reading the reviews before I bough and I would have known these would not be wide enough. Double shame on Columbia for sending me an already at least once returned product.

Sizing is terrible. Bought a pair of wide & one side was extremely tight. Bought a different pair & model that were fine for te winter & also another brand that were fine all with the same sizing but for some reason the sizing here is completely off despite both boots saying that they were wides, the right side felt as if it was a normal width. Then a return fee? Very unhappy overall.

I was trying to lace up my boots the first time and the metal lace hook broke off. I did not pull that hard.

These boots are nowhere near wide. I wear 13W in everything and I had trouble even getting my foot inside the boot. I thought maybe they sent the wrong size but even the tag inside the boot says "wide".

Today was my second time wearing these boots. The first time in the rain. Working outside for ten hours in cold rain with wet feet. Not a good day.

I've had these boots 3 weeks and they're insanely terrible. Not at all water proof, worked 8 hours with wet socks. Holes opening on interior fabric. I dont usually do this. This is my first ever review, I figured I could save someone the hassle of going through what I've been through.

My new Columbia waterproof hiking boots separated along the seam between the leather uppers and the rubber waterproof lower soles. This occurred on both boots at the same time. Unbelievably poor boot construction!

These boots fell apart at just under 3 months of owning them. The uppers separated from the soles and a big hole ripped at the crease in the "pleather". This was after normal use, nothing extreme. Don't waste your momey.

I bought the boots a month ago first day I wore them in the rain the water started seeping through at the bottom where the tongue and leather are together.

I bought a pair of Columbia hiking boots a year ago before a hiking trip to Portland. At this point much of the sole has peeled off, but the boots are still comfortable. I ordered several pairs and sizes of these boots and they have none of the interior padding that allowed me to wear my old boots for long hikes as soon as I bought them. These have virtually no padding in the front of the boots. Moreover, the hardware is stingy (my last pair had more and stronger lacing hardware and long laces. These have cheaper hardware, one less place to fasten the laces at the ankle, and laces that are too short to double know. I wonder why so many companies of so many products find it necessary to cheapen products year after year until they are junk. I'd gladly pay an extra couple of dollars for better made boots.

Bought these boots almost 2 months ago. I wear them 4-5 days per week. Im on my feet alot and need a good supporting shoe thats waterproof. The soles have really run down, I'm very disappointed in the quality boot, it was not a good purchase. Ive attached a pic of this 2 month old boot. And they lost their comfort within the first month.

I wear a size 12 wide normally in every shoe and every style, and this boot is not true to fit. Very slim for a boot that is supposed to be a Wide size.

This was my third pair. The first two were excellent, but my last pair the soles came lose after a 3 months.

I bought a pair of Columbia boots nearly 15 years ago and they have been exceptional. I decided on a new pair and got these online. What a disappointment. The quality and comfort are awful. Returned immediately.

I recently purchased these with the recommendation of the clerk over the timberlands I originally wanted to buy. I am on my feet all day these were comfortable and worked well in wet conditions but the bottom of the boot wore off in less than a month . I would not recommend then if you plan on using them every day . Less than a month after purchase I had to go out and buy another pair of boots. This is my 1st review on a product. I was so disappointed I felt I needed to let people know before they waste their money.
