These boots are exactly as pictured. This is the second time I have bought this style of boot and they are my FAVORITE. They have a nice sturdy toe on them, so I wont break anymore toes on my hikes.

Great boot. No break in needed. Comfortable all day even standing on concrete. I use for work boots.

Not good in mud or wet clay because it cakes into the deep tracks too much and will cause you to slide and slip. Also, shoe strings too thin to tie tightly. If they are not tied tightly around the ankle, a lot of rocks, dirt, and gravel falls inside. I had to replace the shoe strings. I also have to wear very thick socks because of the gap around my ankle. I like that they are light-weight and waterproof.

These are very light weight and comfortable. I have tried others but always come back to the Newton Ridge boot. They are great for hiking in any condition. I really like the hooks for lacing my shoes. It is so much easier to get on and take off. Great product.

Very comfortable shoes, great material, and truly waterproof

I ordered these to work in but they were too big because they arent available in wide. They were also so stiff it would have taken forever to break them in. So Columbia charged me $6.00 to return them and UPS charged $2.00 to print the label. I wont be ordering any more Columbia products.
