These were slightly stiff once first put on but broke in immediately. I wear these at work in a hospital, running around all day, so i'm constantly putting miles on them and they feel great. I love wearing hiking boots cause my work and play are so close together and never know when i'm going on an impromptu adventure. These have me ready, comfortable, and looking good. Highly recommended!

These hikers are awesome. Fit like a dream and are the most comfortable shoes I own. In fact, I have two pairs...one in reserve for when the first pair wears out. Great on the trail or around the house!

I can't believe how light weight and comfortable this boot is. And it looks great for casual wear as well.

2nd pair I have purchased for my son, by request. He wears them for work - comfort, hiking and hunting - durability and they are waterproof.

Columbia Boots are always outstanding when I buy them, Light Durable Warm and comfortable. I will always buy Columbia boots for non-work footwear because for work it's Wolverines.

This is my first pair of shoes from Columbia. Initial impressions were good. However the longer I wore them the more I like them. These are the best shoes for winter I have ever had. My favorite part of the shoe is how soft the tread compound is, these shoes have grip for days because of it. I do not slip on hard packed snow or ice like I used to. The shoes were slightly stiff out of the box. In one day of even 10 degree weather they were broke in and were as comfortable as anything I have had. The fit is slightly small, I usually wear a 11.5 wide and I tired a 12 wide. I am glad I did. They fit perfectly so a 11.5 would have been to small. Here in Wyoming it might not snow the most but it gets plenty cold and icy. I work inside and out about a 50/50 mix so I need a shoe that works in the weather and looks good in the office. These are fantastic shoes, I would buy them again, and plan to when these ones wear out.

These boots are super light yet durable. Comfortable. Tire-like soles grip to pretty much anything. Black/black color combo looks great. Black hiking boots are hard to find, by the way, most are brown. Dear husband wears them daily now as they became his favorite boots.

Very pleased with the quality of these boots for a surprisingly affordable price. Good support, relatively lightweight and also offering waterproof protection these sturdy boots have been great for fall hiking and hunting this fall!

I bought these boots to use for a week of hunting in South Carolina, where the temperature can vary in November from the 30's to the 70's. I bought them a half size larger than I usually buy so I could wear two pair of socks on cold mornings. The boots were comfortable and my feet were warm with double wool socks even when sitting on a deer stand on the colder mornings. But they were also fine with one pair of socks in the warmer parts of the day, even with lots of walking.

Incredibly comfortable. Worked 12 hrs in them, during which time I walked about 7 miles. No foot fatigue and I've got very high arches. Haven't worn them in snow yet but I look forward to it.

As a park ranger, trying to find cordovan boots that are comfortable and functional can be a challenge. Well, I have been wearing these for the past 7 months and they have done a great job. Some of the shineable toe parts have worn out and the omni grip has worn quite a bit, but I am still using these almost every day at work. They are very comfortable, and I have had no complaints. If you are looking for something to keep your feet warm, these are not the right boots for you. While these are great hiking boots, If you are going to do a lot of elevation lost on a hiking trip, you probably should buy some sock liners too with these.

Use for yard work. Comfortable, and light weight

Bought these boots for my husband and found they were comfortable right out of the box. Recently took a trip to Maine and they were perfect for all our hiking trips. No blisters or pinched toes. He is looking forward to wearing them this winter as well.

Bought these boots about a month ago. They were comfortable right out of the box; but really broke in to sneakers like comfort in 2 or 3 days. I wore them this past weekend to climb Mt. Fuji and they held up great. After a full day of walking through pretty rough terrain I had no pain, discomfort or injury. I really like these boots and highly recommend them.

I have walked 4-7 miles /day M-F on concrete inside and out for 1-1/2 years on the original version of this boot and am very satisfied with the dryness, support and comfort; only have replaced the laces recently. I will purchase new version shortly (thx for heel loop!) and rotate old ones to yard work which are holding up fine. Good lightweight support and grip. Sole holds up well - another great Columbia product!

These boots seem to be holding up well. They have proven to be waterproof thus far. Very comfortable for hiking or everyday usage.

The boots have a good rugged build, and light weighted than I expected. I took it for a 15km hike in Appalachian Mountain and it shows good water proof performance and comfort. One thing to remind is this boots are half size larger than expected. I usually wear 10 but I can only take 9 for this.

Great boots. Incredibly comfortable and look great. I should have bought these years ago. Need absolutely no break in time, good to go right out of the box.

I have been wearing this style of Columbia shoes for a few years now. I wear them for work at the sawmill, and I wear them for everyday. They are very comfortable, water proof, and I really like the way they look.

I had a pair of these boots for a number of years and I loved them so much I bought the exact same pair again. They are so comfortable I wear them almost as much as my tennis shoes.
