I am a fashionista but decided that NOT FALLING was a priority this year so I ordered 5 different SNOW BOOTS. Most were disappointingly bottom-heavy and wide above the ankle, not suitable for walking or driving!! THESE were super comfy OUT OF THE BOX. They are warm without being oppressive, divinely lightweight, and pretty cute. I tried them on and KEPT THEM ON for the rest of the day, even though temps were in 50s! Like the others said, these are KEEPERS!!

Glad I listened to other reviewers and went up a half size. My normal size would definitely have been too small. A half size larger is still a bit snug but I expect that with continued wear that won’t be an issue. These are super comfortable and very warm. I love the light gray color and got compliments the first time I wore them outside of the house! Love!

I bought these for two reasons: 1) to wear while running errands in the winter in Ohio and 2) to wear hiking outdoors in the winter for my son’s co-op. Warmth: These kept my feet toasty warm with just regular socks while running errands even in sub-freezing temps. I also wore them for 4+ hours while outside in sub-freezing for my son’s co-op and thought they were really warm (I paired them with smart wool socks and wore foot warmers for my toes). Comfort: These are very comfortable to walk in and very light weight. I also have a pair of Boggs boots and Sperry duck boots for winter, and found the Columbia boots much more comfortable to walk in. I sized up a half size more than what I wear for running shoes, which was fine with regular socks. They were a little tight across the top of my foot with two pairs of socks and foot warmers (but I expected that). They do have a little give in the material to stretch over time, I think. Dry: I haven’t worn them in deep snow, but in packed snow or light snow they are definitely waterproof. The tongue is gusseted to the ankle, so anything deeper than that might sneak in. But I liked that they lace and I can adjust the tightness from the toes all the way to the top. Traction: I felt comfortable walking on snowy (with some ice) trails and hills. Look: I love the faux fur at the top. It’s cute but not so much that it makes my calves look thicker like some other brands. They also hit at just the right spot on my calf—not too low, not too high. They are also easy to loosen/tighten with the laces and get in and out of. Overall these are great winter boots and I’m really glad I purchased them!

Fit was great! Was able to wear thick wool socks when I was out in the snow a long time. They are super warm, comfortable and are really waterproof!!

definitely heavenly boots !!! love them!!! I wear an 8 ... purchased an 81/2... good fit... Lighter than air... like walking barefoot with great track shun!!!

I am typically a size 8.5/9 and the size 10 fits just right. I have a narrow foot and the boots fit snug. I don't think someone with wide feet would find this style very comfortable. These boots are very lightweight (like a gym shoe!) and warm. It is nice to finally have a warm winter boot that I am comfortable driving in, as well. I walked up and down a sledding hill easily, and played in about a foot of snow while wearing these. I was hoping to find my size in the gray color, but had to order black. I like the look of the boots, and am very happy overall.

The shoes are very comfortable and keep my feet cozy. I usually wear a 7-7.5. I ordered an 8. They were very snug out of the box, but since wearing them around they have loosened up. I have not had the chance yet to test them in snow.

i am very happy with these boots ! i did a lot of research on snow boots before deciding on this pair and i am so glad i got them. i did take the zappos size recommendation of a half size larger than my normal and it was good decision. i ordered a 7.5 and the boot does comfortably allow for a thicker boot sock.(i think going a full size larger, they would have been too big) i have worn them 3 times so far and no problems at all. they have very nice faux fur lining on the top and also some that is inside the boot part way down. wore them outside in about 20 degree temps and my feet were nice and toasty. the traction is great also, which was a very important factor to me and it also did start raining the one day while wearing them and the rain beaded up on the boot almost immediately. i chose the dove/quarry color. wanted something different than basic black. i do not see any shades of purple in the grey like i think one other reviewer stated but not a problem at all. i am very happy with my choice and i think you will be too.

First, as everyone has said, you must order a full size up. I am normally a 7.5, normal width but with bunions (I take a wide in Merrell). I ordered a 8.5 and they are perfect, with a good amount of room for thick socks and toe warmers. They look just like my other 7.5 shoes. I have thin calves so I love that I can tighten the laces to make the boots fit my legs. They are much more stylish than I thought they'd be and very flattering on my petite frame. Also super comfortable, like wearing sneakers, and very lightweight. Not sure about warmth yet but I think they will be fine for a Northeast winter, especially with wool socks. Thank you Zappos community for recommending the size-up. Love these!

I have been waiting until we had real snow to review these boots because they are so AMAZINGLY comfortable and I needed to know how well they would hold up in snow. Seriously, though. They are THE. MOST. COMFORTABLE. These boots feel like the most comfortable and cozy slippers that you just happen to be able to wear in the snow. They form to your foot in a way that feels like you are walking on pillows. As another reviewer mentioned, they do feel a bit snug when you first put them on, but once you wear them for a bit, they literally mould to your foot so that they feel like the best-fitting slippers you've ever owned on the inside, and totally solid hiking shoes on the outside. They grip well and the soles are flexible like sneakers, so you can more easily maneuver around while still feeling solid on the snow. They repel water well and my feet stayed toasty and dry. I haven't tried them out in temperatures below freezing, but given that with just a basic pair of thin Smartwool socks my feet were completely warm with no hint of cold, I would imagine they will be good in colder temperatures. As a note, I usually wear a 7 but sized up to an 8 and they are perfect. I also ordered the 8.5 because the size 8 initially felt too snug and I like to have toe wiggle room, but I am so happy I went with the 8. These boots fit differently than most other boots, so at least from my experience, I didn't need the extra toe room to keep my toes nice and toasty. Also, they are such nice-looking boots! They look great with pretty much anything and I love that they aren't leather but still look really nice. If you are questioning your purchase at all, I cannot possibly give these boots a higher recommendation!

As all the reviews state, size up on this awesome boot. I went a full size larger than what I wear in boot. I wear an 8 in shoe but an 8.5 in boot and sized up to a 9.5 - I have about a half inch of space at the top and are not snug. These boots are so warm. I have Raynaud's so finding boots to keep my feet warm is hard. These actually warm my feet which is really difficult to do outside of an external heat source.

Best boots ever! As recommended I ordered up a size. Normally I wear a solid 7, medium width. This size 8 is super comfortable and just a little extra room for heavier socks. Boot is so warm I haven't needed to wear heavy socks (YET) here in Mid-Michigan. Boot so comfy doesn't feel like a boot at all. My jeans stay tucked in without effort. The inside of the boot has a nice insole with a cup in the heel and roomy toe and width. I got the gray color and I get compliments where ever I go. People can't believe these boots are waterproof, warm, comfy and cute! These live up to the Columbia name. Can you tell I'm happy and loving these boots?

Recommend going up one size. They are amazing! Just got them and love them. Got one for my mom who is VERY picky and she loves them too. Glad they got here so quickly today!!

I really like these boots. Very comfortable. I am usually wearing a 9.5 now and ordered a 10. Should have ordered a 10.5. I think my toes would have stayed warmer. My toes come to the end do heavy socks would be hard to wear. I did change type of socks the second day and my toes stayed warmer. I’m not sure they are warm to -20 but I like them.

My wife's comments: I ordered up a size and they are fine with regular socks. Luckily they have warmth tech, since thicker socks won't work. After wearing them a bit they loosened up and I have received many compliments.

My size is between 6-1/2 and 7 in every shoe or boot except this one. I ordered size 7-1/2 based on reviews and it was still too small. With medium socks, I felt like my heel didn't fit within the foot bed. Rather than order an 8, which I can't bring myself to do, I am returning this. I am only 90% convinced it's literally waterproof. I may order the 8 after a little more research.

SIZE UP. I normally wear 7.5 in most shoes, 8 in Uggs. After reading other reviews, I ordered 8. They are comfortably snug with regular socks. If you want to wear heavy socks, I suggest sizing up 2 half sizes. They are super comfortable, in foot bed and around ankle--move and bend easy. I wish they were taller. Also, I have fairly thin calves and laces fit me, but I think laces would be short for some people.

SIZE UP!!!! I'm a solid 6.5 in every single shoe I wear. I read other reviews and so I got a 7. I'm thinking I will probably, or at least am strongly considering ordering a 7.5 and returning my 7s. They fit, but with thick socks, or any socks for that matter I think they are going to be too tight and uncomfortable. Otherwise, BEAUTIFUL, COMFORTABLE, WARM, QUALITY IS AMAZING! The 2 places humans lose body heat most is head and feet. I was okay spending the money for these because we are going to Breckenridge in the winter & I don't want to be miserable for buying $50 cheaper boots etc. Not only that, the style is so cute & fashionable but without losing the comfort like some others. Totally worth the money…..bottom line....SIZE UP AND BUY!!!!!!!!

Very comfortable and warm for a New England winter. Needed a little wiggling and tugging to get the feet into the boots - but once in - they fit great.

I haven’t had a chance to check out my moves in snow yet, but the grip looks amazing, the fur looks cozy, and my hubby said they’re cute and look like me ?? I have big calves so it’s hard for me to find the perfect boot but I’m thinking I just did!

Very warm and comfortable. Ordered half a size up, and fit is perfect.

First of all, they arrived a day early, when there was still snow on the ground. Yay! Second, they were so warm! I tested them in dry snow, slushy snow and puddles, and my feet stayed warm and dry. Finally, I put them on and walked over a mile around my neighborhood, and while they were a little tight around the balls of my feet, it wasn't terrible and I expect that will improve with wear.
