Right now, Iowa is in the midst of fierce cold, with record breaking temps to come. I have worn these boots for extended periods shoveling snow, walking the dog, and running errands around town. They are exceedingly warm and comfy. I do wear smart wool socks with them, but I have had boots that even with smart wools, do not keep my toes warm. Fit/Comfort: These boots run a full size small. I normally wear a 9 1/2 in boots to accommodate SW socks, but in these, I needed to order a full size up and got a 10 1/2. I have literally never worn a boot/shoe that large in my life. They also run narrow, which works well for me since I have extremely narrow feet (AA/AAA). I do not see how these boots would work on a wide foot. The insole cups my foot nicely and is cushy. The heel is flat or maybe even a bit lower than the ball of the foot, which I find comfortable (no cramped calf muscles). The boots are light weight and feel/wear more like a comfortable shoe than a boot. Some reviewers have described them as feeling like athletic shoes. I agree, but without the support. Which brings me to..... My only complaint is that there is minimal to no arch support. So far I have not had to wear them or walk in them for a long enough period of time for my arches to get sore, but if I had to be on my feet in them for the better part of a day, I think my arches would suffer. I got them in blue (Zinc/Red Canyon) and love the color. They look fantastic with jeans, which is what I usually wear. The black is very nice also. I tried that color, too. More versatile, for sure. The gray was a little boring.

These boots are very comfortable, lightweight and warm. I walk 2 miles in them daily through snow and ice and my feet are very happy.

So comfortable! Like wearing fuzzy, warm slippers outside in the snow! They really are waterproof and you can wear them all day.

I absolutely love these boots. I wear a size 8 shoe, and always order boots in a size 8.5. But these run small, so I reordered them in a size 9 and they fit perfect with a regular sock. The lining is warm and the footbed is very comfortable! Kudos to Columbia for making a great boot!

I really loved these boots but feel they run a true size smaller. I normally wear a size 7 , but these were just too narrow and smidge too short for me - there is no way I could have worn thick socks with them. If I order, I'll try the size 8's.

Like wearing a comfortable athletic shoe, except quilted, warm and waterproof! A great snow boot.

I take a 7.5 narrow shoe size and after trying the 8 and the 8.5 boot, the 8.5 was the right fit. Definitely a snug fit but amazing comfort and warmth without the bulk. Its a totally new type of winter boot for me and the snug fit just goes with the "sneaker" like style. Great for my urban commute to work. Love them.

These are at least a 1/2 size too small. Wish I could give a better review but I couldn't fully get the feel since they were too small on me.

These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. They feel like bedroom shoes. I live in the NC mountains and my toes are no longer cold. They are very light weight and I get compliments every time I wear them. I usually wear a size 10, so I ordered a size 10.5 and 11. The size 11 was way too large, but the size 10.5 fit perfectly.
