Love ASICS but these run extremely narrow. I bought them for the support - they definitely have it and are very tight around the foot. I do not have a wide foot - these are just not comfortable for a 50-something adult woman.

Wanted badly to love this shoes, but no matter how I laced it my heel slipped.

I tried these in the 8 and they were too long but fine width wise. I returned them for a 7.5. They were too short and too narrow. I'm running 2 half marathons in them so I really need them to be very well fitting. Otherwise, they look good, the construction is nice, both colors I tried looked great.

I followed the advice of others and ordered a half size larger and the toe space was still too cramped. I have narrow feet/ narrow heel but need wide toe space. Seems to be a common problem and the main reason why I love ASICS. If I order up another size my heel will slip and cause blisters. These also feel heavy and stiff . I have another trail shoe Scram3 and they are much lighter the correct amount of toe space for my normal size.

This shoe now runs 1/2 a size short, after several years of consistent sizing. Other than a change in the length, the gel-kahana-8 is perfect for the woman with narrow feet, especially in the heel. Padding is good and the shoe is comfortable, and in the past has been durable. I just know now that I’ll have to size up 1/2 size.

Asics messed with perfection and the Gel-Kahana 8 is vastly inferior to the earlier versions. It did bring back the loop that 7 lacked, but if I could go on buying 4-6s forever, I would. They messed with their sizing and I'm now, for the first time ever, a 9.5 instead of a 9. Even in the larger size, the toebox is slightly smaller than earlier versions. I kept these because I have a very hard time finding sneakers, but I don't love them. Bring back the old fit, Asics!!!

Unfortunately, it does not fit the way the Kahana-6 did. I had the Kahana-6 in a 9-medium and it fit perfectly and I got a lot of great use out of it, one of my favorite shoes. I knew that people reported that the newer models of Asics run smaller, so I ordered both a 9 and a 9.5 - both were too squeezy (vertically) in the toe-box. I ultimately ordered, successfully, the Venture-5 in a 9-Wide, and it fits pretty well (still not as great as the old shoes, but by far the best option of the three). For comparison, in street shoes I'm a "perfect" 8.5-Medium, and a 39 in European (e.g. Birks). Styling was very cute, and I'm sorry they didn't fit!

The size was good and I wanted to keep them but I wore them in the house for a few minutes and walked into the kitchen and slipped an fell. They have a very slippery bottom on wet surfaces. Disappointed.

I am so disappointed. I have been wearing these for years as they have been the only shoes that help me walk straight (I over-pronate and suffer resultant plantar fasciitis). I have recently been trying different brands, as it seems the quality has gone down (the shoes only last a few months); although, I was unsuccessful. I reluctantly went back to these, but now, as other reviewers have indicated, the toe bed seems much more narrow! I feel my squished toes caused my whole body to be out of wack, causing instant back pain. I seriously don't know what I'm going to put on my feet now, as I've tried so many other brands!

I like the style of these and they are comfortable, but both pairs I have bought wore a hole in the two in under 9 months. Super bummer!

Acidic always my go to shoes and they always fit . This style however felt to tight and short on length . I really like the color combo and loved the shoe other than the fit :(

I've worn Asics shoes for more than 10 years. This iteration seems to lack the cushioning of earlier styles. And, it's a tight fit. Too bad, because I like the look. Sent it back.

Sadly for me these shoes are very, very slippery when wet. I find them super comfortable and to have excellent arch support but I live in the Pacific Northwest where it rains a lot and I work in an environment with tile floors - the combination is dangerous. I think it's the "reverse lug" pattern on the soles? I also bought another style of Asics (GT-Express) at the same time and they are not slippery at all. In fact they are quite grippy even on a wet floor. I tested both shoes by pouring some water onto my bathroom floor. I do feel like this style has a bit more support than the GT-Express but do not want to risk falling.

Have worn this shoe before but this particular shoe rides high on the ankle bone and is very uncomfortable. Also, it appears there is less padding where it hits the ankle so just makes the high ride worse

I really wanted to like these - love the look, but the stiffness and slippery sole ruined it for me.

I've worn Asics for years. Such a disappointment this purchase. When I opened the box I was delighted and when I went to put them on they were so narrow I couldn't tie them. My toes were squashed!!! Returned.

I've been a comfortable 9.5 in asics for years, but I could barely get my foot into a 10. I hope that this isn't the trend for all Asics. They've been my go-to shoes for years!

The right shoe fit perfect but there was something in the left shoe that irritated the left side of my left foot.

These shoes were miserable to put on. They were really snug and no sense of any cushion.

Wow, I went up a half size more then my normal size and they were still to small!! And I waited longer then normal to get these.....so disappointed!! ?

Such a bummer...like many others I have worn Asics Kahana for a long time and love them and hate to have to replace them but they are worn out. These new ones are completely different and quite uncomfortable. They are too stiff to be used as a running shoe, even trails, but the biggest problem is how narrow the toe box is. I look at my old pair next to these new ones and it is striking the difference. These literally squeeze my toes together, which is not good. Why must these things change?? Asics please bring back the old style, it seemed to make many people happy, whereas these new ones do not.
