I walk to work in this and I've never been cold. It's windproof and the hood stays up despite strong wind.

This is my second Transit jacket.The first one got trashed and the zipper broke but it had a long run. Im happy with this new one just as much as the old. Im 5'5" about 115 and the size M is perfect. Love the remove able hood. Only thing that would make it better is an exterior media pocket. Id definitely buy again and recommend this jacket.

I love how light and flattering this jacket is. It keeps me warm in a Canadian winter, however, it's losing feathers constantly. I read the reviews of the first jacket and was really hoping they had resolved this issue...unfortunately not. For reference, I'm 5'5", 130 lbs, and I wear the small comfortabling with a hoody underneath.

This is an excellent upgrade from the original transit. I love the attention to detail on the back side. A+

I really wanted to love this coat. I bought it in the Urban Navy and absolutely love the color. It also has somewhat of a waist to it which is nice in a winter coat. It is very warm without being overly puffy. My only problem was that the item description is incorrect in that it says the size MD (which is what I ordered) is 33" in length. Mine was 27" long in front and 30" in the back. I wanted a longer style coat that will cover a little bit more of my rear and upper legs. I will say that Zappos was fantastic when I contacted them about the discrepancy and wanted to make it right! Love their customer service - it is unmatched!!!!

I love the fit of the jacket but feathers leak constantly and were all over the outside like dust and stuck to my sweater each time I removed the coat.

I LOVE this jacket. I find it super warm and comfortable. However, as soon as I started wearing it, I started losing a whole bunch of feathers. I've had down jackets before and I've never lost so many feathers in such a short period of time. I'm worried about how many feathers will be left by next winter.

not sure if the one I received had defects or? There are two large marks on the front and some small ones on the sleeves. The color gray is not becoming on me, and although it’s shapely it does look very bulky on me hence return.

I am often cold and want my jackets to fit over big sweaters so I usually wear a medium. That's what the size guide told me to pick too. It was huge. I looked like a marshmallow. It was pretty boxy and I wasn't wild about the color although I would have kept it if the fit had been good.

I love this coat but one size is too tight and the next size up is too big. I like that it is lightweight and not as long and bulky as some other styles.

I purchased the eggplant color. I can't soeak to the other colors, but the coat I purchased would be much more stylish with a dark interior color rather than the light pink. Even with the pink interior, the hood and inner zipper would look better in the same color as the exterior. I liked the cut of the coat and the length. It was still slightly full on me, but overall a good fit. I'm petite, 5'1 and 105 lb, and I purchased the x-small.

This is a warm jacket, and very soft, but it doesn't form fit at all. Doesn't flatter the figure.

I love everything about this jacket! The cut is good for my pear-shape, the warmth is exceptional and the color is beautiful. Unfortunately I have never owned a North Face jacket that lost so many feathers!

The jacket was too big for me and it was not what I was looking for. I returned the jacket and purchased a different style that I'm very pleased with.

I sent this back. After a day there were feathers poking out everywhere and also a weird "dust" it was all over the black jacket. Not sure if this is supposed to happen but it was shedding immensely

Beautiful warm jacket! Fits very well. Light weight and comfortable. But...I have to return It because the feathers are leaking terribly after just one week of wear. When I take the coat off, I have feathers stuck on my clothes everywhere!!! Feathers in the car as well. Why can't North Face make their coats like they use to. I have a North Face coat that's 8 years old and it's never leaked ONE feather!

Only wore this twice and the down feathers started coming out in various places of the jacket. For the price, the style is nice but overall it doesn’t hold up.

Love this jacket so much. Literally the most flattering/warm nf jacket I’ve tried. It’s slightly cinched at the waist which makes it look more flattering than some similar jackets. The only problem is, like other reviews stated, the feathers leak constantly.

I wanted to love this jacket. It fits nicely and has a unique cut (longer in the back) that's comfortable and practical. However, it is shedding its insulation all over. My fabric car seat is covered in feathers after a few days of wearing it while driving.

I loved the fit and style. However, FEATHERS EVERYWHERE! I couldn't believe it. It had a terrible white coating on it due to all of the feathers coming out. They were coming out of everywhere, not just the seams. I was super bummed because it's cute and comfy and it was warm too.

I really liked the coat, downside is the feather's. Waste of money.
