I've been needing a new winter coat for these brutal Chicago Winters so I had my mom send me this jacket to get me through this winter. It's a great length just above the knee and super warm - like I'm usually persirping before I leave my apartment building. But it's great for the fridgide walks and standing at the bus stop. Since I take public transit sometimes it gets a little chilly but this coat keeps me toasty and it's a 3rd of the price for that Canada Goose none sense. It also functional and doesn't feel bulky like the marshmellow man in most parka's. I also hike to gym and am Abel to walk the 5 blocks home without feeling like I'm going to get sick, it definetly keeps the heat in and the cold out!

Perfect city coat! It's sleek yet warm, can't wait to wear it all winter. Also love the waterproof fabric.

I got this just in time before the snow started to fly, and i have been wearing it every day since. It's super cozy, but has a nice clean cut, so i feel comfortable wearing it to work or play. I'm definitely staying warm this winter.

I bought this during the summer sale for an upcoming winter in Boston. So I'll need to update my review once the coat survives the winter. But for now, it seems very warm. I am 4'11" so it is definitely long on me and covers my behind. I ordered a medium, since that's my size in other Northface jackets. I'm kind of busty for a small woman and I have to say, the zipper at my chest is a little tight in the medium, which is not the case in other jackets. But the arm length is perfect and I'm afraid a Large would be too big. It seems very warm and waterproof, but again, I need to test it in a Boston winter first to confirm.

I just got this coat and hadn't chance to try it out for cold Chicago winter, but it seems like it's going to do its job. It's comfortable and isn't too heavy. I like it so far.

Bought this coat for the winter at my new school campus. Much bigger than my other school and I wanted to be warm from the walks to my car to the buildings. It's warm, it's comfortable, and it fits perfectly. Wouldn't want another coat. I would definitely recommend and buy again! Perfect for the cold winter days in Illinois.

My height 1.70 and weight 63 kg I would buy it again. Great price with discount. But it would not be so good without rebates Against: The bell is fixed, not removed. The micro polar of the chin, is very good, but with time it disappears. Very happy with my purchase. Thank you

Once it gets cold again, I'm going to wear this every time I'm outside. It's so warm and cozy. However, I wish it was longer than mid-thigh length.

Great winter coat! I wore this through the NY winter last year, and purchased a size up for this coming winter. It's warm and is perfect for getting around the city in the colder months. If you wear multiple layers, you may want to size up, but it's really warm enough with just the coat.

My parka coat from northface got burnt a little from a chicken that fall from the grill, so I decided to get another coat that has different material so hopefully it won't get burnt as easily in case something accidentally fall from the grill again, we loved grilling even in the winter time. Bummer, since the parka coat is pretty expensive coat. But oh well. This coat is really nice, keep you warm and stylish at the same time. I love the hood, just like the parka but different material.

Looking for a warm and waterproof winter jacket or coat for next year. The Far Northern Parka fits the bill and then some! Superior down filling gives it a lighter feel. Zips up high and wraps around the neck keeping me warm and cozy. Color very neutral.

This jacket can be used all year around as not only protect from cold conditions but is design to keep you warm and dry.

I have different styles North face coat! It's very very warm! I like them so much!

Great . It could eveb be a bet more wide at the end. Would get more freedome for legmovements as needed for good hiking in the mountains.

I use this jacket daily to travel to and from work, and on the weekends when I go out. Although I am only 5'1 this does not feel like a way too long jacket. I find it comfortable to wear in the car and drive. I highly recommend it to anyone.

This is my second parka. I absolutely love this style, my first one was black and i got it 2 years ago and still looks brand new. It's easy to clean, dries fast during wet weather, and its super stylish goes with everything you wear. I will continue to purchase.
