Great coat. Love the weight and fit. Material is great. Perfect for light winters. Love that the hood is removable.

I was looking for a waterproof packable jacket to use for hiking and potentially even backpacking trips (I'm not too hardcore, I don't need an itty bitty stow-away jacket). I got the small rabbit color and when it arrived I immediately thought it was super cute. I wore it on a rainy day to test it out and it did indeed keep my torso dry. It is comfortable with the collar zipped all the way up; it doesn't dig into my chin or choke me. The hood is a decent size too and sheltered my cheeks. The zippered pockets are great! This jacket is noted for being windproof as well, but it will be a while before I can try that out. I actually bought two North Face jackets (my first time!) with the intent to send one back... it was going to be this one, but in the end, I decided to keep it too, probably more for casual rainy/windy day wear walking around the city. The fit is that good. :)

Haven't exposed fully to the elements yet, but it does well on windy days. Love the color and the detail. The size small fits nicely - I am 5'0 and approx 120-125 lbs; I will probably have to wear a fleece under for the coldest days, but altogether I am satisfied!

I love this jacket. It's stylish, fits well and is very comfortable. It's also warm and insulated without being bulky. I only use a hood when it rains, so the removable hood option is great. My husband and I are going to Nova Scotia soon, and the weather may be cool and damp. It'll be the perfect jacket to bring with us, and it can also be easily packed in our luggage.

Cozy, go-to jacket. Great length, great quality. Perfect for Southern California hikes - warm but not heavy.

Very nice fit! Warm without the bulk, keeps that cold air out. And folds up to fit in a bag easily when out and about. It's just the perfect California winter coat.

The Quail Gray color is very nice! I'm 5'2 125lbs and bought the size small and fits true to size.

Bought this for the random 40 degree evenings and I was worried it would be too light. It's not. It blocks out all of the wind. It's extremely comfortable. I love how cute it is. I'm very happy with it. If I could, I'd buy several more just because it is really functional. I absolutely recommend it.

I live in Minnesota, the weather this year has been very strange here. One day it will be freezing (-20) and the next day 50+ degrees. I tried on the coat immediately after it was delivered and was nervous that I possibly made a bad choice since the coat is so lightweight and thought that it wouldn't keep me warm. Well the first day it was 18 degrees outside and I thought I would try my new coat out and.... I absolutely LOVE it! This is the warmest coat I think I've ever bought. I love the fact that it's not a big stiff coat and even though it's super lightweight it keeps me so warm on the coldest Minnesota days. I wish I wouldn't have waited so long to order it. Love,love LOVE this coat.

Everything about this is great it's a heavy warm jacket without it being too much. It fits your curves perfectly. I can wear it when it's pouring outside or just a little breezy

The Apex Elevation jacket was everything I've been looking for in a great quailty jacket. I purchased this for a trip to Europe and was not disappointed! It was warm, fitted enough to still keep that feminine look and not boxy. The material of the jacket is nice. It's soft and comfortable. I've been looking for something like this for awhile and I'm glad I found it on sale at NF.

This is a great lightweight jacket. Warm and comfortable. Detachable hood is also nice. Would definitely recommend.

This jacket fits perfectly. Feels lightweight but is incredibly warm. Love the style. Not bulky at all for a winter coat. Exactly what I was looking for.

As others have mentioned, this isn't the same Apex material as older coats, but I still love it. The fit is great for women (although I'd size up if you have wider hips, my coat barely goes over mine). It's warm and blocks the wind well without being ridiculously bulky like most winter coats.
