Easy to move around in. Not too thick and puffy. Soft and warm. Love this jacket!

This jacket it great. It's lightweight but warm. The sleeves are a little long but I like it when I don't have my gloves handy. The zipper gave me a little trouble at first but now it's working fine. The men's version has a slightly sturdier zipper and a few extra pockets- which I like better. Why do women's clothing always have a lack of pockets? I can't wait to use it in our next hiking trip.

Exactly what I was looking for! I've always just worn my ski jacket during the winter. This year I decided I wanted something that fit a little better and wasn't as bulky for an everyday winter coat.
I have owned the TNF Apex jacket for years and used it as my fall/spring jacket. This is a great step up in warmth for winter.
I haven't been in rain/snow with it yet so can't speak on the waterproofing but the warmth paired with the windproofing is fantastic! I've used it down in the single digits and below for walking around town and such. I had planned to take the hood off but I haven't yet. I barely notice it is there and it's convenient to have when it's extra windy out.
It fits pretty much the same as my Apex jacket and I think it runs true to size. If you plan to layer with a fleece or something underneath you might want to go a size up.
I'm very happy with this jacket and plan to use it for many Western NY winters to come!

It took me three tries to find a jacket I liked from The North Face. I should have just ordered this jacket first! It is honestly so comfortable that I could wear it all the time. It's supremely water resistant (water just rolls right off) and windproof. I was skeptical about something being "windproof" but this DEFINITELY is, no wind can get through even on a super windy day (I tested it out yesterday in 20+ mph winds!) It's lightweight but still very warm. I normally wear a Small but I ordered a Medium in this jacket so I could wear a hoodie underneath it and it's a perfect fit. Absolutely recommend.

I love this jacket! It is super comfortable. In terms of comfort, it feels like wearing a sleeping bag. I never feel too hot or too cold wearing it, even in very different weather conditions. Nice and lightweight so it is easy to pack on trips. The sleeve length is perfect for me. I'm 5'8" and often have problems with sleeves being too short, but the sleeve so on this are great for me. They would probably too long for people with shorter arms.

This is my daughter's jacket. I have one and my other daughter has one as well. We love these jackets! They are so warm without all the bulk of a typical winter jacket. They are great for day to day wear and outdoor sports. They've kept us warm skiing, as well as a day of snowshoeing at 9 degrees plus wind. I absolutely recommend!

This jacket is perfect for late fall/early winter chilly days. Especially when it's raining and windy. It's not heavy, but keeps me warm, dry and comfortable which I love. I decided to go with this coat instead of my usual fleece & I feel this is a better choice for unpredictable New England weather.

I've just bought this jacket in red, such a pretty color and is definitely a true red. The fit is light and not bulky at all. I cannot wait to wear it this coming season, but I might have wait awhile till I can wear it because living in Southern California it doesn't get that cold till probably January and this jacket definitely feels like it will keep me super toasty. I do recommend this jacket 100%, it's absolutely beautiful all around from the feel of it to the way it looks and fits, I couldn't be happier about this purchase!

Love this jacket. Will keep my warm and relatively dry. Not so tight in the shoulders that I can't do a lot with it on. I purchased black so that I can actually do things in it and not worry about the cuffs getting stained.

I originally ordered the jacket in a M Rabbit Grey but when it arrived it was too large. I am 5'7, thin/athletic build, and usually wear a S/M shirt but my other Northface jackets are all M. Exchanged it for the S in Quail Grey and it fits perfectly! This will be my new spring jacket for when it's still chilly out but you don't want to wear a poofy winter coat. Would highly recommend

So warm and insulating I might not need to switch up to a larger jacket for most of the winter. Planning on wearing it for East Coast winters.
