I bought these because i love my Speedcross 3's and couldn't find a pair of boots that didnt chew my feet up on steep up or down hills. So I decided to try my Speedcross 4's They carried my up Sulkantay Pass to 15,252feet and then over several other mountains with altitude changes of + 2500 feet only to then drop 4000, both the shoes and my feet held up wonderfully. I was concerned for the traction on wet rocks, but they preformed stellar! Couldn't heve been any more pleased with my choice to use them! Colby Abshire

This is the second pair if Speed Cross runners I have purchased and there is a very good reason why. I have major issues with my ankles and walking in these Speed Cross runners make the walk much easier for me because they so support your foot correctly and cushion the pad of your foot very nicely. As always with Salomon a very well designed and produced product thank you!

Last week I hiked with my son 10:00am to 4:00pm. The dew made my feet wet al most immediately. Miserable! Went straight out and bought these. Working out very good so far.

Love these shoes! 3rd pair. Roomy enough for wider feet but supportive for those downhill runs.

I have wore these for years. They are hands down the most comfortable running shoe I have ever owned. Love them. They fit snug to start out but mold to your foot to become the best. I tried the forces extra wide which are not snug out of the box but don't hold your foot the same for cuts on the trail. Would buy again and again.

The Speedcross 4 's i recently purchasedare the best fitting shoe i own. I previously retired a pair of Speedcross 3's, which were my favorites and ordered the 4's because going they would fit the same and they do. Love them!

This the second kind of shoe Salomon and they have not let me down yet I feel they are a little pricey but on a side note they are great shoes so maybe there is some to say about quality.

Purchased a pair of sc4 for softball since i play on turf fields. These are 1 of the most comfortable pairs of shoes ive ever owned and very durable as well. No problems playing on wet turf or on natural grass. I now own 3 pair.

I know ever shoe and foot is a bit different but these shoes fit me like a glove. Awesome traction.
