I purchased this coat for a trip to Germany to see the Christmas Markets. The coat fits well, was warm, and is versatile. However, the fleece sheds EVERYWHERE! It gets on your pants, sweaters, furniture, floors, seats, etc. Then, the shedding ruined several sweaters because I couldn't get all of the shedding off the sweaters, washed them, and pills formed on the sweaters. For the amount of money the coat costs, I expect North Face to deliver the product that one can use safely and easily from the first wear. I am very disappointed.

Great almost sweat dont like the zipper location like putting in a dress not coat but still worth it

I was so excited to get my new mint blue and dark gray coat since those are my favorite colors. I was disappointed to see when I opened up the package that the inside color had a purple hue and was not dark gray. The picture does a terrible job of showing the actual look of the coat!!

I loved the color of this coat! Very Cute! However, the inside layer left little black fuzzies all over my clothes. For the price, I would expect it not to do that. I returned it and ordered another coat without that type of inner layer.

I agree with other reviews about fuzz problems. This is my first NF coat and I'm bummed that I will probably be returning it. I love the color, super soft fleece and the pit zips - hard to find on women's coats. Outer coat is a bit stiff. I found this coat on clearance which is my only consideration for keeping it.

I wish I had read other reviews on this site before I ordered my Triclimate jacket. When I got it, I tried it on with and without the soft liner jacket - no problem. It wasn't until after I wore it for several days and then removed the liner jacket that I was horrified with all the fuzz balls that were left clinging to my clothes as well as the jacket itself. I had to stop and purchase a lint roller brush before I reached my destination. Not only was I covered in fuzz balls, but my car is now covered with fuzz that will take a lot of work to vacuum up. After spending $260 for a jacket that sheds, I am extremely disappointed. I've purchase many items from NF over the years, and was shocked that they would produce such an inferior product.

Very disappointed!! Jacket is beautiful in color, warm, stylish, and comfortable. Downfall: it sheds terribly. I have fur balls everywhere!!! Absolutely don't recommend this jacket unless you plan to lint roll every outfit you wear and the jacket.

This jacket is warm and cute but the fleece liner is a no go for me at least. When I put my arms in, the fleece liner comes out and when I take the jacket off, there are fuz balls all over my clothes.

The fabric is stiff and makes a lot of noise when it is moved. The stiffness is not very cosy or comfortable.

I have wanted a Northface coat for a long time but I was not at all happy with the fuzzy inner coat. It shed every where and it very hard to get on with any type of long sleeve shirt or sweater. I exchanged this for another Northface coat.

Cannot emphasize enough how much I despise this coat! First of all, it runs small. I'm 100 pounds and under 5 feet and felt like "fat guy in a little coat." Secondly, the inner liner sheds all over everything, and it has not improved with multiple wearings. Finally, the Velcro sticks to everything. After a ski trip to Colorado, it has snagged two scarves and ruined my favorite sweater and Spyder ski top. Goodwill is about to be getting a very expensive coat. I will NEVER wear this coat again.

I am a huge fan of North Face (products, customer service, all of it!). I had been looking for a new ski coat for a while and finally decided on this one. I bought 2 coats, one for myself and one for my sister. The coat kept me very warm in Park City, Utah while I was skiing. The problem is that the fleece sheds like crazy! I was really hoping that it would just be the first day I wore it but the coat continued to shed black fuzz EVERYWHERE. It got all over all my clothes and truly all over the condo I stayed in. Like I said before I am a huge fan of North Face and have never been disappointed, so this coat was truly shocking. The fuzz doesn't seem like a big deal but it ended up being a real problem and extremely annoying. Unfortunately the tags are off so I can't return the coats but I will have to start looking for a different coat....Such a waste of money & I do not recommend!

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

The inner lining jacket sheds! It's all over my clothes, house and car. I have purchased several north face products in the past but this was a total disappointment.

I purchased this Jacket for my wife, she wanted a new jacket for skiing. She did not like the quality of the jacket and the fact that it has no easy access pockets which you need for skiing

So disappointed that my bf spent so much money on this and I can't wear it, unless I carry a lint brush at all times! My coworkers rqstd I stop wearing it because it leaves fuzz all over the office floor! I got my coat and German Shepherd for Christmas and I was worried about dog hair and this coat sheds worse than the dog! I think a replacement liner should be offered!

For the price of this jacket you would think you wouldn't have to vacuum every time you put it on. The liner sheds terribly, called customer service and they didn't work with me at all. It is -20 where I live and I can't be without a jacket to send it back. So unless you REALLY alive to vacuum, I would not recommend.

The inner layer of this coat sheds big floating pieces of fuzz that stick to everything, including your jeans and top. There is even fleece fuzz stuck to the inside of the shell, so if I want to wear the shell alone I will have to spend time cleaning off the jacket before I dare put it on. I tried running the coat through the dryer to reduce the loose fuzz and I had to clean the dryer drum which was covered in sticky fuzz. It is also hard to slide this coat off and on without the inner layer parting ways with the shell. On the plus side, I like the relaxed fit, making this a very comfortable coat to wear. The fuzzy fleece is the softest fleece I've ever felt. If the shedding issue was fixed, I would give this coat 4 stars.

Finally a jacket with a removable hood. However the lining sheds more than my cat!!! It got all over my other clothes! What good is a 3-in-1 jacket if you can only wear the outer shell?! I returned it.

I loved this jacket when I saw it in the store. Took it on a trip to Kansas City Mo and I was so disappointed in it. It sheds all over everything. It leaves lint on your clothes, in the vehicle, in the airplane seat and all over the floor when you put it on or take it off. This was the only coat I took on my trip and was very disappointed in it. I wish I had look at reviews before I spent this much money on a jacket that you can't wear because of the mess it makes. The lining should not have been the furry fleece in this expensive jacket.

The outer jacket is good but I can't stop the fleece liner from shedding. I have fluff all over my flat and my car. I have washed it/dried it repeatedly. Nothing helps... :( I will contact North Face customer service about it, as I see the issue raised on the internet by upset customers.
