It kept me warm enough on the mountain at 3 degrees... I was not thrilled that it collected every piece of dog hair, human hair, fuzz from the liner & dust in the house I was staying at. Not thrilled with this purchase... Same problem with the sea foam matching pants. :-(

Nice jacket but a bit bulky looking. The xl seemed too big but the large seemed snug with anything but a tshirt underneath.

I would love to be able to give this a great rating but unfortunately it ran tight in both the chest and waist/hip area (I ordered a large) and I had to return it. They were out of the color in the next size up so I couldn't exchange it. I'm a tough fit as I'm short but busty. The worst part is I tried the exact style jacket on in a store for size prior to ordering and it fit. They didn't have the color I wanted though. I was so looking forward to my North Face jacket for a trip out west after Christmas. My daughter swears by her North Face that she's had for at least 5 years.

I bought this for my daughter for an early Christmas present. She was a bit disappointed with the trim color. It was more of a turquoise blue than green as it appears on the website.

The jacket is warm but a littler lighter than I wanted for winter in central Indiana. However I love it had a removable layer! I'm usually always very cold but sometime I sweat in this coat but it's not the coldest it's going to get in Indiana yet.

The inside is awesome but the outter one is smaller and very stiff

I am 5'10" and the sleeves were too short and the shoulders were a bit restrictive. The body was a bit big though so I am returning it. It felt like it would be really warm and the purple was a great color.

Very warm. I like to wear them separately. For the most part, it fits well but tight in the hips.

Nice coat, can find others that are just as warm that cost much less. This was a combined Christmas/birthday gift for someone. It is way too expensive. As with most "designer" name items, most of the cost is for the name. If the company is going to get free advertising by putting their name on items people wear, the cost should definitely be much less.

Jacket is too stiff, fit is uncomfortable. Pricey for what you get

This is a nice, warm coat; however, the white liner leaves white fuzz on everything. I have to clean the blue part of the coat off every time I wear it. I cannot wear black pants when I wear the liner either. For the amount of money this coat cost, it should not be such a hassle to wear.

Returned this product and got a similar outer shell model as the engineering on the outer shell is great but a plain quilted liner.

I've had this jacket for 4 months and wear it about once a week. I am extremely disappointed with Northface because every time I put it on, the lint from the inside jacket fills my closet. Poor quality.

Bought this coat for my daughter who is a college student and spends a lot of time outside, walking to classes. I give it two stars only because it is a nice looking coat. This coat leaves lint/fuzz from the inner coat everywhere! And when I say everywhere, I mean it...all over the shirt she wears and everywhere she goes...she leaves a trail of black fuzz. We are constantly cleaning up after this coat! She already dislikes it. I might expect this from a cheap coat, but not north face. Definitely would not recommend.

The fleece liner sheds really bad, not sure why. I leave small fuzz piles everywhere.

I was disappointed sadly.

After wearing the jacket for a day or two, I realized that the fur from the inner layer of the jacket kept coming back and sticking to my shirt. The jacket was very warm and cozy, however, I would not recommend this jacket due to its problems with shedding faux fur onto my other clothing.

The outside jacket fits extremely well and looks sharp but the inside jacket is a joke. I cannot believe North Face would even sell it. It cannot be worn because as other users have stated, it sheds, I mean REALLY sheds. Even after I removed it, threads and material stuck to the exterior jacket and then makes it way down to my hands. I would rate a 5 but for the money, the complete set fails. I even tried washing the inside jacket, didn't help. I expect better quality from North Face. If I had not ordered this thru the mail order I would have taken it back to the store. I have several NF jackets, love them all but not this one.

Need to change liner. Should not be an aerobic event to put coat on. Liner clings (almost grabs) at anything it comes into contact with. Would have rated coat a 4 star with better lining. Also not as warm as it should be, I would not be comfortable below 20 degrees.

Way too fuzzy

The shell is great. The liner is the worst! Sheds like crazy. You will have to constantly pick up fuzz and remove it from whatever you are wearing.

Decently warm jacket, wouldn't wear below -20C though. Very nice shell, what ruined this jacket for me was the high pile fleece layer. It really sheds like nothing I've ever seen. I'm surprised more reviews don't mention this. I literally have to sweep up every time I put it on or take it off. I also find it difficult to get my arms through without pulling apart the buttons that attach the two jackets at the sleeves when I'm wearing a sweater. Overall, not worth the price in my opinion.
