The fleece inside the jacket isn't as durable as the ones you buy by themselves.

Just received this jacket in the mail today. It fits well - maybe a little snug across the shoulders. The jacket itself is a little on the short side, but it has a 'tail' so it goes down a little further in the back. The inside jacket is really cozy and soft. I wish that they offered it with a black shell and a hot pink inside, but I think I can buy the inside jacket separately. I haven't tried it on the hill, but I think it will work great. I bought the black with black jacket, which I prefer, because I'm not keen on the coloured piping detail. With the black shell and black fleece, there is no coloured piping. The jacket feels substantial enough for skiing and it is mid-heavy in weight, which is nice. There are pit zips too. And the hood is removable, which is nice so you have room to wear your helmet. And the collar is high so you can keep your chin warm when you're on the hill. Overall, I think it is going to be a great jacket. The best part is that you can remove the inside jacket for warmer days on the hill. I like that flexibility, as sometimes, I get too hot. Hope you enjoy the jacket!

I bought this jacket to bare with the Canadian winters and Texas rain. The color is very pretty, but I found that the jacket as a whole was too bulky. However, when you take the jacket apart into its 2 separate jackets then it fits perfectly.

I really like how comfortable and warm it is. I just wish the jacket was slightly longer (I bought a medium when I'm usually a small, hoping for some extra length) but other than that I love it!

I bought my coat to prepare myself for the cold South Dakota/Iowa winters. It hasn't been very cold yet so I don't know how well this coat will work in the single digits to below zero temps but I am hoping its toasty! I took my dog for a walk when it was 25 degrees out with 40 mph winds and I was sweating when I got back home! The fit is great and I love that its lightweight and doesn't restrict my movements!

I really want the outside jacket of this set, but with a inner Thermoball jacket of another set in Black & Kokomo Green. Yet, pay the Thermoball set price to amend the difference. Wish there was a way for that to happen. I LOVE the design of this one, (Kokomo Green) with the Practicality of Thermoball. Life long So. California gal now living in bone chilling, lips crackling, sheer unforgiving ice burning cold of the East Coast. Aka "the ice box of New England" according to my opinion. Need that thermoball inner jacket & not forfeit/deprive my LA fashion savvy monster to practicality alone. Wish there was a marriage of interchangeable products, practicality, fashion & good honest price for the consumer, all in one. Probably be more induced to buy more!

I bought this to keep me warm in the winter. i do love it but it is quite big and i can't get any smaller of a size, i think they forgot about the smaller people in the world.

I like this 3-n-1 combo. The outside jacket is water resistant so it acts as a rain coat. While the inside fuzzy jacket keeps you warm. The inside jacket sheds real bad though, that's about the only downside I have found so far. There is little fuzzy lint balls all over everything. The fit is pretty true to size. I think the outside jacket is a little too loose in the arms for me, but it fits good everywhere else. I haven't ever disliked any of the North Face jackets I've bought, and this one is no exception.

Very nice. I wish the hood could be transferred from outer jacket to inner jacket. Also, wish the sleeves were detachable for a wind breaker vest affect.

Trying the Tri-Climate again this year. Didn't have a real quality experience last year as the inner jacket/liner shed more than most house animals. We're giving it a go again in hopes that this doesn't happen. Huge success with previous North Face products so willing to wait and see.

Good jacket and you can take out the liner and use as a rain coat easily.

This is my first triclimate jacket. Love the color. Light weight and warm but the inner lining keeps getting bunched up.

I bought this coat for a skiing trip after Christmas. The coat is great quality and the inner liner is extremely soft. The fit was pretty accurate according to TNF website. However, I should have hone with my instincts to go up a size because it was tight through my shoulders. I don't think anything is wrong with the sizing, I have broader shoulders. I would recommend his coat. I ordered the pink color combo and it was just as it was represented.

Great coat! I've worn it a few times now and each time I was comfortable and warm. I haven't had any issues with fuzz being left on my shirts from the fuzzy jacket liner. I did however wash the liner before I wore the coat so that may have helped. I ordered a small and my dimensions are 37, 28, 36. My shoulders did fit just a bit snug but I'm still able to layer underneath so I'm satisfied with the fit. It's a great looking coat and I've got numerous complements on it. I would recommend this coat to others!

I ordered this jacket through one of the dealers since TNF website didn't have the size I wanted, and I was so so excited to get it. I ordered it in the GREYSTONE / PURPLE SAGE / DAPPLE GREY color because it was a really nice combination in the picture. However, when I received the jacket today I was so disappointed. The jacket was a very deep purple all around as opposed to the dark gray I thought it would be. I'm going to have to return it. However, the fit was very nice and warm. I love the fleece. It's too bad the color isn't true to that of the pictures.

I love my jacket. My family moved to a place that actually has cold winters and a nice jacket was a necessity. I love this jacket and it keeps me very warm and dry. My only complaint is that the fuzz from the inside comes off on everything, even on the outside of the outer shell of the jacket. Other than that, it is perfect.

Ok, this is a beautiful jacket, and works perfectly, BUT its very hard to wear certain fabrics and layer clothing. For my specific use, I need to layer to be warm without the jacket, and wearing anything that was of thicker material, fleece, or "fuzzy" sweaters make the jacket very difficult to put on and take off. I even bought it a size bigger than I needed for this reason, and it didn't help. The fuzz also got all over my clothing, and the inner sleeves were always peaking out from the shell (probably because the fuzzy inner was stuck on my arms). I purchased this jacket because the inside looked so cozy - and it is! But I had to return it - this just drove me crazy!

This is a good all around jacket. The outer shell is perfect for rain. It's not too heavy by itself, so you can wear it in warmer weather. The inside jacket is good for fall weather. It's nice and soft too. When you put the two together is a decently warm coat. I was a little chilly in 20? weather, but I bought a size that's a little big to layer a sweatshirt with it. Overall a good coat, but for this much money I expected it to be a lot warmer.
