Disappointed in sizing. Worn them a few times hoping they would loosen up and stretch. Not as comfortable as previous models. Would not order again.

I've ran twice and I've developed a bone bruise on the ball of my left foot, about an inch behind the middle toe. The inner sole is hard and this may be the cause. It has me wondering if I should have gone with the Gel Nimbus, which I've ran in with previous success.

Have run in Kayanos for the past 8-10 years. The newer heel cup design gives me hot spots on the inside of both heels. Don't like this new design. Switching to something else.

Unfortunately Asics doesn't make this shoe in a wide width. It would be great for a B width foot
I love the colors, the just wasn't wide enough.

This was my 5th pair of Kayanos. I have been a 9 in every one this far. This pair of 23's has my big toes right up against the top. I'm going to have to pay the shipping fee to return them. Hopefully I can try on a half size larger in a store to see if they work.

Nice shoe but too narrow. Seems to be the theme in all the reviews.

Really wish the 23 and 24 felt like the 21 or 22. The 23,24 seem to have less support and cushion. Please make the 25s similar to the 21! :(

Usually wear a 10 1/2 wide. Ordered both 10 1/2 EE and 11 EE. Could barely get my foot into the 11. Narrowest, smallest 11 EE I've ever tried. Too bad, look like they would be nice otherwise.

I have been wearing Gel Kayanos for 15+ years and the last three versions, 21,22, & 23 are a big disappointment. They lack the cushioning that they have had previously, the toe box is much narrower and the durability of the material is terrible. After only a few runs the material on the sides of the toe box is starting to split and the felt sock liner inside has developed holes on the sides. Not only has Asics cheapened these shoes, they have turned them into junk. Don't waste your money on these. I am now looking at going back to New Balance as that is what I wore for many years before the Asics.

Asics appears to be making their shoes narrower by the year. The Kayano 23 is not an exception. In addition, the toe-box is smaller on this model than my previous Kayano 21's (which is a great shoe). Asics is unmatched in comfort and support. I hope when they design new models they take into account my own and other customer concerns on the narrowness and small toe-box of these otherwise wonderful shoes.

As a long-time Kayano wearer, I was excited when I found out that Asics had dumped the miserable Kayano 22. The Kayano 23 decidedly is an improvement, certainly in looks, but I dearly wish for the wonderful Kayanos of the past. The 23 has a strange fit that did not work for me despite ordering up a size. Although I returned the shoes I ordered and did not have an opportunity to test their longevity, I have concerns in that regard. The shoes I received seemed somewhat less robust than my old Kayanos, particularly as to the lining material. I would be concerned the heal lining might wear out too quickly, thereby making the shoe all but useless.

I have worn Kayano now for over 10 years. I buy one each year and put around 800 miles a year on them. I never try them on when I buy them. Just buy the same size and trust the feel and performance will be the same. I keep my old ones for mud runs, working around the yard or I clean them up and use them for social events. To me they are still better after 800 miles then some new shoe designed for walking. The 23 seemed lighter than my 21, (Sometimes I will buy a year old model at discount so I have two 21's) but what I really noticed was how hard the impact felt with my 23. I realize a shoe that has 800 miles on them may have broke down some over the miles, yet I never noticed the impact issue with a new shoe as I have with this one. I even pressed my thumb in the shoes to see if I could feel a difference and the 21 had more cushion in it then the 23.The only thing I noticed different in the two shoes is the 23 has FlyteFoam and the 21 has FluidRide stamped on the side. Not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. Unfortunately, now I am running in my 21 more than I do my 23.

I bought these in my normal size and was so excited to receive them. I tried them on -and found them to be very tight and my toe was at get very top of the sneaker. What is going on with the sizing???? I was very disappointed and sent them back. I did give them two stars for the cushioning.

These shoes came apart within a few weeks of ownership. I am not a runner and only wear them around the house. Disappointed in this shoe.

I have been buying this shoe for many years, for running. I was given them as a gift and since I have worn them so long, I figured the size would work for me. The toe box is painfully tight. I am going to have to find an older version of this shoe (or a different brand), to get the right fit.

I have been wearing narrow width asics for years, but these are uncomfortable by the big toe. Ordered same size as usual so something odd with design?

I bought these right before Christmas , since I absolutely loved the 22's I thought these would be equal or better, but they're extremely narrow which makes them extremely tight fitting, so back they go, I searched for last
year's 22's and found very few left, I ordered another 2 pair.

I have worn Gel-Kayano's for years and these unfortunately will be the last I buy.
I'm used to them being stiff at first but after a month of wear they're still very stiff and uncomfortable. I'd say that the fit is smaller than the last pair that I bought (series 21) which was a great shoe.

I bought the keyanyo 23 and couldn't try them for a few weeks because I was traveling. At first I thought they were okay but after wearing them all day, I had to take them off. Felt like my feet were swollen and my toes cramped up. Will return them when I'm back home. Disappointed.

Gel Kyano 20 was my go to shoe for years. I had at least five pairs. The Gel Kayano 23 was more than disappointing. I ordered a half size up after reading reviews and still the shoes were way too small. I could barely get my foot into them. I don't know what Asics is up to but why fix something that isn't broken? I returned the shoes.

I love the Gel Kayano's but a few weeks after running in these, they gave me shin splints! From the beginning I could tell something was off about this shoe but wanted to give them a chance. The fit felt high around the ankle not supportive like my Kayano 22's. Hope this is just a bad line and the 24's are made old school like the 21/22s.
