I've worn glycerins since the 8's, have four pair of the 11's and simply love them all. They feel great on my foot, are the only shoes that help with my knee pain, and are light weight. I tried these on the other day and was so impressed at how the felt out of the box. They're the most comfortable shoe ever and I like them even more than my other glycerins. Definitely getting more.

This is my 4th pair in this line. These shoes are perfect for people like me who under-pronate/supinate/walk on the outside of their feet. Before these, my shoes always wore out in the outer heel first. With these, I feel much more stable and am walking correctly. They work well for walking and jogging. Order a half size up. My only complaint is that they seem to wear out quickly - after about a thousand miles.

Super comfy! Love that they come in wides. They are great on my knees. I'm a loyal brooks glycerin fan and these don't disappoint!

Recently, I began a walk/run routine. I went to a store that caters to runners and had a professional fitting for a running shoe. The Brooks Glycerine 14 was recommended. I've had the shoes for a few months now and really like them. The cushioning is great, excellent stability and I love the arch support for my high instep. As per fitting recommendation, I sized up to 9 1/2 from my normal 9 to allow room in the toe box. Am able to wear a bit thicker sock in cooler weather without any noticeable tightness. Because I like these shoes so much and wanted to extend the life of my first pair of Brooks, I purchased a second pair of the Glycerine 14 from Zappos. I chose the silver color because my first pair are the purple (love purple but limits the wardrobe options). The shoes are expensive but the comfort and durability of the Brooks Glycerin 14 make it a worthwhile purchase.

i purchased the launch, the ghost 9 and the glycerin to see which I liked best (I already owned a pair of ghost 8). The patriotic pattern is so bad ass! I put the glycerin on and didn't want to take them off again! (I kept the other two to wear to work but these are my go-to for working out! Good flexibility, comfortable around the ankle. I did order up a size to a 8.5 (normally wear an 8). Love these hope they come out with additional bad-ass color combos!

Brooks sneakers were recommended to me by my foot doctor. I am not a runner, but have arthritis in my hip and my knee and stenosis in my back. This is my 4th pair of Brooks, 2nd Glycerin, and I love them! So much support and the colors are styles are awesome! I went online to find a black/red pair but saw this limited edition color, and being a patriotic person, I fell in love! They have stars inside insole, and gold tipped laces! I wear an insert usually, but don't have to with the Glycerin. Such great support, and although I take a medium width, I do have a wide foot and Brooks have a nice wide front that accommodates a wider foot. Well worth the cost!

Previously had the Brooks Glycerin 11 and loved them, and then the Glyercins just weren't enough support for my feet until now. They have brought back the support and cushion in the Glycerin 14. Thank you Brooks!

I stopped buying Brooks a couple of years ago because the soles were wearing out so fast there was no tread left after a month or two. I'm 68 years old, so it's not like I'm burning the treads off with my lightning speed. So I reluctantly switched to other brands. I was never happy with the replacement brands. They didn't fit as well. Or they were cheaply made and began to look it after a month or two. Or they weren't cushioned the way I like them to be. Added to all those complaints, they weren't exactly wearing like iron either. Asphalt it simply very hard on shoes. FF to about a month ago when yet another pair of shoes was wearing out and making my knees hurt. They had to go. Back to Zappos, but first I visited the local sporting goods store to see what they had in stock. My eyes were immediately drawn to the Glycerins. Love the look of these shoes. When I turned them over I saw that the soles looked different - sturdier .Compared to the other brands they looked like a better shoe on the bottom. They also looked a bit more padded around the ankle, and I was reminded of the ingenious way the tongue always stays put, unlike some shoes that constantly need adjusting by me. The color was not one I would willingly choose, though, so I came home and ordered them from Zappos in the color I wanted - the purple. LOVE this color. I've been wearing them ever since, and there is absolutely no noticeable wear on the sole where I would normally see it. My knees are happy. The shoes feel great. They look terrific with running clothes. They also look great with jeans, and I can wear them for hours without any discomfort of any kind. They have good cushioning (I supinate). I have plenty of toe box room without the shoes looking clownish in front the way some do. They seem very well made, as you would expect from Brooks. I'm very happy with my choice, and I would recommend you try them.

I have wide feet, high arches, and heel spurs, and these cushy shoes fit me perfectly. They are very comfortable. I wear them for walking. My only complaint is that they only make one color in a wide width, so I have to settle for whatever color they select each year.

I bought a pair of Glycerin14 shoes at a local running store, liked them so much decided to buy another pair in a different color. The supplier for the store did not have the size and color I wanted. I have ordered shoes from Zappos before, and happily found what I wanted. They were delivered the next day so I could take them on vacation. Great service and selection. Thanks again Zappos!

I wear a size 8 in normal shoes, a size 8.5 in running shoes. I ordered my normal size for a running shoe, an 8.5. I actually could have gone up a 1/2 size and ordered a 9, but I am okay with the 8.5. I'd say this shoe runs about 1/4 size smaller than Brooks normally do. I bought the peacoat navy/red and they're awesome looking!

I love the Glycerin series and have been wearing them for the past 4 years. I just got the 14s and as usual they're awesome. The second week in the rubber started lifting up from the sole and I called customer service and a new pair was on my porch 2 days later. Awesome customer service. Die hard Brooks Glycerin fan here for running, HIIT, etc. As a personal trainer and group fitness instructor I reccomend Brooks to my clients all the time.

Other reviews are correct...this Glycerin is back to being great...13 was not as comfy. This shoe feels good from the start...toe box is back to being bigger...this shoe has a great cushion. Hate that Brooks thinks all women want these sherbet colors and flashy designs, but I don't buy the shoe for style, I buy it for comfort and design. I can get 4 months of 5 mile/day wear out of a pair.

As a HUGE Brooks Fan, I absolutely love them - feels like I am walking/running on clouds.

I've run in Brooks Glycerin for 2-3 years now, but this is my first pair of the 14. I'm not sure why they changed the "tongue", as the original was perfect in that it didn't move/shift even during a 26.2 mile race! So far, the new tongue isn't shifting either, but it puzzles me that it's now a puckered type fabric, no clue! That doesn't negatively affect this shoe, so far it's been great. I'm returning from an injury so I'll see how it does as my runs gradually get longer but in a four mile run it's just terrific. I do normally try to support my local running store, but if I do shop elsewhere, nothing beats Zappos. I ordered the shoes one afternoon at work, opting for free shipping since I'm frugal - and they still came the next day! Unbelievable customer service.

I love these shoes and I love the ease of ordering on Zappos. I am extremely picky and have a lot of trouble finding comfortable shoes due to a number of foot and back problems. These shoes are extremely comfortable and fit beautifully. The cushioning is wonderful and the width is great. Withstood many miles of walking and hiking which I couldn't have done otherwise.

I am a Marathoner, wearing only Brooks and this is the only pair I did not have to buy Superfeet insoles for overpornation and plantar fasciitis. Straight out of the box, I ran 9 miles. Very comfortable. I will buy another pair before Brooks discontinues this one again. Style: Could look better but it doe snot matter.

I LOVE this shoe by Brooks! It is so comfortable, offers fantastic ALL day long support, and the patriotic colors are perfect for proud Americans. Please keep making this shoe, and continue to offer it in the red, white, and blue colors even after the Olympics end. This shoe is great!

Although I am a runner and normally run in Brooks (usually the Adrenaline), I have to admit that I ordered the Glycerin 14 based on cosmetics alone! I absolutely adore the patriotic Navy/True Red/White color scheme and they fit like a dream. I've been wearing them for my 10 hour shifts as a rad tech at the hospital and my feet feel great at the end of the day. My new favorites!

Love, love, love Brooks Glycerin 14! I've been wearing Brooks for years, and Glycerin 12s were my favorite running shoes ever. (I bought seven pairs because I liked them so much. Seven!) The 13s were a total disappointment, but Brooks is back on top of their game with the Glycerin 14. Absolutely recommend them.

Thank you Brooks! So grateful to have found these shoes and find myself wearing them whenever possible. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. . . . but P L E A S E give us some better colors and a plain black would be most welcome.
