I have been wearing Glycerin 13 for a year or so now and they are the first shoes that truly keep my feet and knees comfortable for more than a couple of months. These have thick, fairly firm cushioning in the sole, which I think protects me from shock during my high-impact aerobics and does not wear out too fast. Besides some minor styling changes, the main difference between this and the 13 model is that this has thicker cushioning around the ankle and tongue. It feels nice, but this wasn't really a problem area for me. I'm happy with the anthracite/azalea color combination. The only other Brooks I have tried are "Launch", probably the last model, and these have more thin squishy soles which wore out way too fast for my use and comfort.

Love these! Supportive yet light- makes you realize how worn down your old sneakers are. Love the black& turquoise combo as well!

I need very supportive, high quality shoes, and these fit the bill. Good quality and very comfortable. It's hard to find shoes for me usually because I wear a 10.5/11 women's, so I was happy to find these.

I have worn Brooks Glycerins for several years and been very happy with them. However this 14 model came up too high on my ankle and was not comfortable.

I have been wearing the Brooks Glycerin series since it was Glycerin 7 and generally find that the shoe remains true with each change in number (with one glaring departure several incarnations ago.) My foot requires a wide toe box with a narrow heel and lots of cushioning. This is the only shoe I've found which meets all those criteria. When the new series came out I ordered my regular 11AA. It came the next day, (thank you Zappos for your great customer service) but when I put the new shoe on it was clearly too narrow and seemed just a bit undersized all over I returned it and ordered an 11B which is fine but seems a tiny bit short. If I was running then the length probably would be a problem but since I use these shoes for walking I'm very pleased.

I have run in Muzuno's for years and had to change as I have not been happy with the changes recently. The Glycerin have a lot of cushion on the treadmill and on the road. They are neutral for stability. They feel a little heavier then I expected, but I am willing to trade that for comfort in a training shoe. I wear a 10 and ordered a 10.5 which fits length perfectly.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are very comfortable, give me the support I need. I wear a 7.5 wide and I feel like I have plenty of room with a little wiggle room. I use these on outdoor courts for pickleball and I use them for walking distances. My feet never hurt and I haven't ever gotten any blisters. From out of the box they are a comfortable fit and I will buy another pair when these are worn.

Love the Brooks brand in general but I have bought the Glycerine series four times now. I'm an RN that works long 14-16hour days and I have to say Brooks gets me through with comfort and support. Will totally purchse this design every time a new edition is out.

This is probably my 10th pair of Brooks; won't run in anything else! Love this particular style better than the Ghost because of its stability.

I've been running in Brooks Glycerin for four years and love them. The 14's are great, no break in needed!

I am not a runner (thanks to old sports injuries), but I do spend a lot of time standing/walking on concrete and pavement for work/hobbies. I found that I was having some heel pain in my more supporting brooks shoes (same size, but a narrow width) and decided to find something as cushioned as I could. Turns out brooks were once again my choice. So far I've been pleased. Little to no heel pain after all day on my feet and enough arch support for my mid-high arches. I do wish they sold a narrow in a 5.5, but for non running use, the medium with is fine on my slightly narrow foot. This does seem slightly wide in the toe box, but this may just be shoe design. Everything about the shoe is incredibly padded (tongue, heel area, sole, insole) and the support is enough for someone looking for more cushion but still just enough stability (it is definitely not a minimalist style shoe). I don't believe this would correct stride issues because it isn't a "stability" shoe, but it is awesome for being on your feet all day and keeping foot and knee pain away. My normal shoe size is a 5, but I did size up to a 5.5 in both brooks I've purchased and they fit as they should.

Wow so glad I splurged. I'm a new runner, starting to run 10+ miles a week but I was struggling with knee and foot pain due to the age of my shoes. I tried 2 other Brooks models that were cheaper but the support wasn't what I needed to run. I normally wear 8.5 but ordered a 9 and used a running insert and they felt very comfortable.

Brooks Glycerin have become my go-to shoe for exercise...walking, jogging, gym, shopping. The 14 doesn't feel much different than the 13. The difference I noticed was my 13's (in the black color) were more of a neoprine material across the top of the toe box. These are more of the standard mesh, but seem durable. One thing I appreciate about the Glycerin is the ability to get a wide width in a "fun" color scheme. While limited in choices, I love the gray with pink. The wide width is true to size without feeling "boxy". I have arthritis in my knees and these shoes keep my knees happy no matter what the activity. My last pair (13's) are still going strong, but I decided to get the 14's to wear for indoor use and keep the 13's for the outdoor changing weather in IL.

I recently developed heel issues and have to replace all shoes and sneakers. These fit the bill and provide the support I need. I wear an 11 and had to size up .5 -thank goodness that exists on this site and with this brand!

These shoes are absolutely amazing. I have to have a wide toe bed since having pinky toe surgery on both toes ad these shoes acommodate the room I needed. These shoes are sooooo comfortable and they are true to size. I ordered a size 7.5 and they are perfect. I use them for long walks and outdoor pickleball and my feet never feel stressed. I would recommend these to anyone who has wide feet and looking for a cushy feel.

I'm a loyal glycerin fan, I have the 10's and 12's. I have loved every pair. This is yet another pair that is top of the line. I ordered the same size as what I had in the previous versions of the glycerin 8.5 (for reference I typically wear a size 7.5 shoe and am a full size biggger in these, I like a half size bigger in running shoes, and these just run small). I do think the 14's are a bit smaller length wise (but not enough for me to go up a size). The ankle cushion seems to be a little thicker than previous versions as well. I ran 2 miles right after taking them out of the box. The black blue/green color is awesome and from what I have seen, exlucsive to Zappos. Bravo Zappos on having a bad to the bone color! Best running shoes ever.

This is the third pair of Brooks Glycerin that I've owned through recent years. I wear an orthotic so I like that this shoe accomodates them. I have a long, narrowish foot but like a large toe box which these have. I wear them for running and cross training. Highly recommend.

Love! Same cushioning as last years and more stylish options! The heel does slip a little though. Nothing tying the laces tighter doesn't fit but it was noticeable in comparison to previous models when trying on. I run 15-20 miles a week and walk 3 miles daily. 6.5 in normal shoes and 7.5 in running. They seem to hold up for a few months before I notice a breakdown. Love them!

Very comfortable shoes that fit true to size. They feel snug but not at all tight. The level of cushion in the sole is like walking/jogging on a cloud. This is my second pair of the Glycerin 14 and I'll likely get third in case the new model isn't as wonderful.

Great "cushion" shoe. I have been wearing the glycerin line for years and they work well for me. I log about 100 miles a month and rotate 4 pairs to allow them rest time. They are true to size for Brooks ( I wear 1/2 size larger in Brooks) and the toe box is very roomy.

I love this neutral running shoe. For someone that has a supination problem, these shoes correct it- and make running comfortable. The toe box is wide, and they are light.
