Bought these for my son and they are very comfortable on him. He has a wide foot and we ordered wide. They are wide enough at the front of the foot but I wish the top either closed more or the tongue was a little wider.

My eight year old son loves these shoes. He says they are comfortable and easy to put on. The shoe looks like laces but is a velcro closure so super fast to put on. We would buy these shoes again.

I bought these for my 4 year old son and he loves them. The red bottoms are appealing to kids and he thinks they make him run faster. :) He also calls them his "Z" shoes because the N looks like a Z to him. They are sturdy and comfortable and I think will hold up well under all of the wear and tear a 4 year old puts them through.

Bought this in size 2 XW and it's the first pair of shoes my son did not complain about right out of the box, and we've tried a lot of wide and extra wide shoes! He says they are comfortable and they've held up longer than many other shoes he's worn.

I just purchased my second pair of these for my 6 year old and they are excellent. My son has extra wide feet. I've tried other brands, but none of them fit as well as New Balance. He is very hard on his shoes and these take a beating and look cute for a long time. They are easy for him to put on and these are the only kind that he'll wear without complaining that they hurt his feet.

I ordered these for my son and he loves them. These are now his go to shoes everyday and has pretty much forgotten about all his other shoes in his closet. Great purchase!

over all great quality. My son beats up on his sneakers but these do well for him. He loves them too.

Bought these shoes for my 18 month old who has a high arch. We got the XW width and fit great for him. The are wide enough were the shoe isn't leaving marks on his foot. They have just enough padding on the bottom to support his foot but not too much to where it's difficult for him to walk.

Love new balance, great fit and comfort, easy to put on, low maintenance for boys running in and out all the time

I ordered these for my grandson. The color, size and fit were perfect. He has a wide little foot, so I was pleased I could order these in a wide width. He loves the style and also loves the fact that he can easily take them on and off by himself. Great shoe for a toddler!

love love love! my boys love these shoes. ages 6 and 4 both have xw feet. they are learning to tie their shoes but they love the easy on and off of these. They love them so much I purchased 2 sets of the red and 2 sets of the blue. New Balance runs larger and wider than Saucony. My boys also like the feel of Cohesion but not so much the colors.. Also these New Balance the back Heel Collar is stiff, more so than the other newer New Balance on this site. So I did half size up because my oldest did complain about that. They look really nice makes the foot look good. not like big duck feet. They have abit of stabilizing to them. I have a son with xw flat square feet and he says he can run better with these and doesnt feel the pain in his chins. They have been wearing these shoes for about a montb now and they are wearing really well not like the other Suede New Balance here for 100 dollars with just one wear they looked awful. Thank you Zappos for the best customer care and for having xw shoes. please carry more. It would be nice if you offered xw Sport cleats for boys as well.

These shoes are much 'cooler' in person, according to my 7 year old, than they are on-screen. Reflective black and grey colors, eye-catching but not garish. His first 'grown up shoes' without flashing lights. Size and fit great. Very pleased with this shoe!

I love that these shoes come in wide sizes! My 6 year old loved the look and feel. They are super easy for him to get on and off, yet stay on well. This is the third pair of these shoes I have purchased for him. As he continues to grow I will definitely purchase this shoe again.

Sturdy and breathable little shoe. My son is partial to red and I'm partial to no laces on his shoes. This New Balance shoe manages to look like a "tie" shoe but has a reliable velcro strap. My son has worn these every day to school and they don't stink- and they wash up well. I will say that as they've aged the little velcro strap need to be cleared of debris to oomp up the stickability. Great for my wide-footed guy. Regular shoes don't even fit on his feet- these wides slide on easily.

My son loves these shoes. Has had them about 3 months, has worn them every day and they still look new.

My 7 year old guy has really wide feet, a high instep and a big toe that points upward... he was constantly complaining about his feet hurting and I noticed the tops of his toes were getting irritated in his Merrells. So we tried these instead and couldn't be happier. Nice and roomy with the ability to fasten snugly at the ankle, and he loves them.

Easy on and off. Came in a wide width for our needs and a good price. Light and flexible.

We overestimated and ordered the wrong size for my kid. My wife wanted to exchange for the correct size, but I cringe at the thought of making phone calls about this kind of matter, so I just wanted to order a new pair and keep these for next year. My wife insisted to call though, and the exchange team made the process SOO EASY! Nothing to worry about -- we printed the return ticket that was emailed to us and dropped off the shoes at UPS, and we got the correct size within two days. They even let me know when the returned item arrived to them, so I didn't have to worry about it. It was the most hassle free exchange I can remember.

My son's favorite color was red. These were a big hit! True to size and looked comfortable.
