Keepers. We like: the light weight of the shoe, which feels like almost nothing on; the unobtrusive Velcro strap over the instep (some are so wide, they look like toddler shoes); the width of the toe box.

I have purchased my son two pairs of new balance shoes and have been very pleased wth the quality, sturdiness and comfort they have provided.

Really like these shoes. My son loves the color! Comfortable and easy to put on. Would buy again.

We have tried some other brands with my son, but New Balance consistently last until he grows out of them, holding up to his wear and tear, when others have literally busted open. These are easy for my 4 year old to put on and take off all by himself, come in extra wide size, and look cool enough to please him. We love these shoes!

My son is 5 years old and always been hard on shoes. New Balance has never let us down and these shoes are no exception. He loves them and finds them easy to put on. His feet are on the wider side but we have not needed to purchase NB in a wider size because the regular width has been just fine. Highly recommend this shoe and the brand in general.

I bought these for my son after another pair of shoes he had fell apart after a month of use. He is 7 years old and very hard on shoes ( like all boys are). He has only had these shoes a few weeks but they seem to be holding up very well. He has 2 pairs of shoes to choose from every morning and he always picks these. The choices for wide shoes are limited and we both happy with these shoes.

I have been trying to find shoes to accommodate my son's corrective shoe inserts (they are quite beefy) I bought and returned three pairs when I finally found these! The insoles come right out to accommodate the large insert, I'm very happy with these! I couldn't find anything anywhere! The insert is cascade dafo chipmunk model.

My son says these sneakers are very comfortable. He has a wide foot so usually we always buy the new balance sneakers and he loves them.

I've been a loyal New Balance buyer for years, especially for when my boys were/are in the preschool range. I could always count on NB to have a decent offering of wide width sneakers. However... This KA680v3 felt a bit narrow in the wide width and short in length. I needed these sneakers in a pinch so I didn't bother exchanging them for the next size & width up, but I would recommend sizing up (at least a half size) and going for the extra wide width if your child has wide feet; this may not be comfortable if your child has really wide feet. Otherwise the quality is decent and this shoe is very easy for my preschooler to put on himself.

After unsuccessful purchases to find a shoe that was wide enough and comfortable for my seven year old, we found these. He loves them and the width in the toe is the best we have found in a brand.

I loved these shoes but they weren't wide enough for my grandson. I have tried 3 different pair and he still says they are too tight. I'm beginning to think he is too picky!

10 Year old son loves them, they fit great and he was running around saying how awesome they felt!

I bought these shoes for my picky 4 year old with high arches. He loves the red color and couldn't wait to put them on! I love that he can put his shoes on by himself with the easy Velcro strap. Will definitely look to by New Balance again from Zappos!

My seven year old son loves these. We've had a bit of trouble getting the tiring laces down so these are a great alternative. He is typically very picky about shoes but he wore these from the moment they arrived. Sizing is right on. I'll be ordering more of this style in the future.
