Perfectperfectperfectperfectperfectperfectperfect!

I have had every version of this style from WR992GL and they get better every time. My only negative comment would be the tongue loop is too wide, It was frustrating trying to get the aglet through, I had to use tweezers.

Excellent fit, comfortable will continue to purchase

I love New Balance because I can fit my narrow foot. I wear a 7 AA normally but I do wear a 7 1/2 AA in New Balance athletic shoes. The shoes is comfortable and the fit is great.

My Pilates instructor recommended the NB 990 after starting to experience some shin pain. Walk on average 5 Km every day. Have had the shoes for more than 60 days and I love them. Good size toe box and cushioned with the proper support and good angle (heal to toe) for flex. Not sure why I never bought before, but I am a huge fan now. I am ordering a second pair as I write. Please never change the design or discontinue.

My Podiatrist sent me to purchase these NB 990 shoes w/insoles, she said these would help with the pain of walking. . . . 5 yrs and 4 pair (NB 990) later. I BELIEVE. Decided the next pair will b the Navy and Orange. All i CAN wear are the NB 990's. So yes i promise, if your feet hurt when u walk, NB 990 can make a difference.

Work on my feet most of the day. Paired with NB supportive insoles, I now have only minimal back, hip, knee, or ankle discomfort at the end of a long day. High arches make a good fit difficult, but this shoe with insoles did it for me. Hopefully this shoe will not be discontinued!

Finally, black laces on black shoes. I always had to replace the white laces on earlier models. BUT what is that horrible shiny silver stripe at the toe. Am I going to be attacked from the air by a drone? I will be taking a black marker to it. The v4's seem a little bit wider than the v3's, not enough to go down a width,

The 990 v4s are AMAZING! They are more comfortable than before and I didn't think that was possible. I have wide feet, bunions, plantar fasciitis, and these shoes are like magic. The ENCAP heel technology supports my heels and the support goes through my midfoot and toes. I've paired these with NB's Pressure Relief insoles and it feels like I am walking on clouds. I found they ran a teensy bit wide but if you have wide feet, you will def need the wide width. I got these in black, the silver N and the reflective accents are just perfect. I love love love them. I will definitely buy more pairs. I think everyone needs to give them a try!

The 990's are one line that I hope New Balance keeps producing. The latest pair we bought were for my wife to use on our daily walk and she loves those shoes. She previously had been wearing 912's and 913's but the 990's are far superior and we purchased a second pair after one week.

I require a lot of room for my toes. Just about every toe has had surgery and I wear orthotics for arch support and overpronation. The 990v4 is very comfortable. Since Winter is coming I opted for the black with gray soles. Nice looking and love the reflective trim. Stay tied and the tongue doesn't move. Of course for this price it should be. But healthy feet are worth it.

I have a lot of issues with my feet, these shoes fit so good

I was originally pointed to this shoe by my podiatrist as I have developed issues over the years with my feet (am over 60 yrs old). I found this shoe to be the most comfortable walking shoe I've ever owned and am now on my second pair. I can walk forever and not feel tired or hobbled by the end of the day. For additional comfort and support, I got the pressure relief with metatarsal support insoles and took out the original insoles. I highly recommend.

These shoes wear well. Mine have gone into the washing machine at gentle cycle/cold water and air drying overnight. No feet hurting even after working four hours straight in the yard on an uneven terrain! Great comfort!

These shoes allow me to walk without pain. I love them

I ordered the size I had purchased last year in a retail store only to find the new pair a bit short. Talked with customer service, order a half size larger. They arrived in 2 days and fit and feel just fine. The previous order was returned for credit.

I need a shoe to give me support and comfort and I buy this 990 series sneaker so I can walk. I had surgery and my ankle was fused and New Balance is my go to shoe 990 series are the best shoe for me. I can't walk in any other shoe in ccmfort.
