I love Ariat boots because they are comfortable and come in wide width. There are always limited options for gals with wide feet in all footwear so I was so happy to discover Ariat and I have four pairs in different styles.I have had a bunionectomy and have plantar fasciitis in both feet so I always look for good support with comfort. I ordered these beautiful Darlin's in my usual 9C. The width was wonderful, but the length was way too short and I had to return them. So, so sad.

These are cute as can be but wildly uncomfortable. I have quite a few other Ariat boots that I love, but this one is going back.

These boots are well made and what I expected as far as style and quality since I own other Ariat boots. However, they were for me surprisingly uncomfortable for what I expect from an Ariat boot. Overall correct size but the construction of the boot felt too short in the arch area making it so that my feet were only being supported in the heel and mostly ball sections of the boot, thus forcing my weight forward onto the ball of my foot (rather than evenly distributing my weight throughout the boot). Very sorry, as this is a super cute boot and the color is lovely.

On my screen they look like a rich blood red, in real life they're more red-red. The footbed was squishier than in other cowboy boots I tried, but I had a similar problem with these that I had in others - my heal didn't stay in place and the area over the arch felt really wide/didn't hold my foot in place. The toe box felt painfully narrow, but like it would stretch.

I really wanted to like these boots - they look so cute online! Unfortunately, they were too small. I wear a size 10M so I ordered that but they were a bit too snug. Perhaps that would have changed with some breaking in.
But what made me scramble for an exchange is the color. It's a textured leather that is super shiny. Way too shiny!

These are gorgeous boots. I decided on the Ariats over another brand because I know Ariat quality and they weren't much more price wise.
They are definitely a half size small. I ordered my size based on the previous review only to have to return them for the half size up. That said, they rock.

The look of this boot is very nice. The fit is extremely narrow. This is the 3rd Ariat boot I have purchased and I am a true 8M. The description on this boot and the size chart indicated that I am an 8M so that is what I purchased. The right foot fit perfect and left foot did not fit at all. It seemed like the two boots where a different size. I was going to exchange it for a wide boot but the wide was more money and I didn't want to pay anymore for this boot. I contacted your customer service and they were so unhelpful. They suggested to order a wide, which I already was going to. When I asked if they could do it for me as an even exchange, I never heard back from them. I sent them 3 emails and nothing. Horrible Customer Service! UNHELPFUL!!

Gorgeous boots, really wanted them. Would look great with all styles of jeans. But no matter how much I tried to stretch them they still squished my toes...so sad. Wish they came in wide

I am so sad to send these back! I love the color and the way they look and the heel height. My feet aren't terribly wide, but with the pointy toe I thought the wide would fee better so that's what I ordered. They are narrower than my other medium width Ariats (Fat Baby, expert clog)!! I love the look so much and I'm so disappointed that wide doesn't mean wide.

I bought these boots because they were the only "girly" ones with a 'wide' fit. Sadly, the wide fit seems more narrow than B.
I couldn't even get my foot into the boot to try it. My mom bought some similar boots, she has narrow feet and couldn't even fit hers or mine.
It seems if you're a woman and you have wide feet, you still need to aim for D or even EE, which Ariat doesn't seem to sell in women's boots, it might work if you're looking for ranchers boots, but if you're under a size 39, it's also not a viable option.
I'm really sad that I had to return them because they really are beautiful boots.

These are way too narrow. I ordered the wide because the other two standard width boots are a little on the snug side. The wide in these is more narrow than my other boots. Absolutely loved the style, but sad I couldn't keep them

These are very pretty very beautiful colors although a little tight it first I'm hoping they loosen up. If I had known I would've sized up half the size however, the boot is very beautiful and the design is lovely and it's a very good quality.

I bought these for an event, that happens in about a week they arrived a couple of days ago but I've only now got round to trying them on, they're so narrow I can't get my feet in them - when I've never had a problem with regular width boots in my size before. Will need to return

I often buy Ariat equestrian boots, always a great fit these boots were a terrible fit, so narrow my smaller toes were squashed and rubbed the moment I put them on. Actual size is ok but very narrow. Dont buy unless you have very slim feet

Sadly had to return, such a lovely looking boot but so narrow, and strangely sizing much smaller than other Ariat boots tried bothered 7.5 and 8.5 but need an 8 and I'm normally a 7 in your boots.

I have an average foot so I thought the regular size would be okay. I've always purchased ariat riding boots and they fit great but these boots are incredibly narrow. I will be returning them, as I don't think stretching them will even be enough to help.

This purchase felt akin to a bad tinder date: I was super excited but it didn't come anywhere near to resembling the photos. It was like a retail catfish. I was so disappointed when I got these boots and they looked nothing like the picture. Not comfortable, not cute, just plain awful. Don't buy

Color was lighter than shown in the picture. I've heard that Ariat are very comfortable but the minute I put them on my feet hurt. The bridge is so narrow and the heel is so loose. Even if I got the wide (I never am a wide) the boot itself would have been sliding on my heel. There's nothing I hate more. Not for me, maybe for you. It's nice they have free returns.

I'm confused if my boots are labeled wrong because all these other reviews are talking about people's feet slipping out of the boot and I literally can not even shove my foot into this 10W. I regularly wear size 10 sneakers and boots and decided to get the wide so I could be sure that heavy socks fit and there is no way on earth this pair of boots would fit me. I'm not going to get another size because I don't trust this company now. I could tell just by looking at them that they weren't going to fit, I tried them on with thin summer socks, just to be sure and my right foot did not even fit in the boot. I'll be returning these promptly and shopping with another brand to find a replacement. Also, the quality of the leather looks cheap. From the photos I thought they would have a nice eggshell like sheen to them, but in person, they are shiny, in a cheap way, like a pleather jacket.

Same size as my traditional Ariat cowboy boots and Ariat Reina, yet the pinch in the ball of the foot prevented walking in them. How can the "same" size fit so differently? ?

None yet. But I want a short boot, Darlins are waaaayyyy too narrow, and I'm searching.

I bought the 7.5 Darlin red boots a while back and love them so much that I want another pair in a different color. I have not been successful so far with the distressed brown or the black, both have been too narrow. I am so disappointed. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 M or occasionally a N width. These are so narrow that the 8 wide might fit but is not currently available. The red rate a 5 star but the distressed brown and the black are only a 1 star because they are so narrow that even going up in size doesn't help.

Just horrible. These look like the fake cowboy boots a child would wear on Halloween. The calf opening is also crazy huge.
