Color was very light in person.

I am a true narrow width and unfortunately these were not narrow enough for me. I was hoping that based on reviews of these running narrow I could swing it... This is the only reason I am not keeping them! They are so cute in person and I love the ease of having a side zip.

I love these little boots and purchased them in white and tan in the wide width, as i have bunions to cover. The white ones fit perfectly, and I love wearing them. The tan ones are a different type of leather, sturdier, a bit stiffer, not as much "give" over the ball of the foot. Just a bit too tight, and i don't think they will stretch and soften in my lifetime of wear. If your foot is a tad narrower, you will love this adorable boot.

I LOVED these boots but sadly have to return them. The right foot is way too tight over the top/arch of my right foot. Seems like a common complaint. I chose a size up and still was uncertain these would ever stretch enough to be comfortable. I bill be returning and trying another style. I like the ease of ordering and returning through Zappos!

They were cute and SUPER comfortable, but I did not like the color so I returned them. But did I mention that they were SUPER comfortable?

Very cute short boots; nice style. However the heel is too high for me. I felt very unsteady in them. I returned them because of the heel height.

The shoes are lovely, however, they run very narrow even though I ordered wide. They also felt shorter than the stated size. Will have to send them back. Rubber heels detract from the overall value.

Very cute -- great deep red color, great style, but way too narrow. I am always a medium width, and these are certainly more narrow than a standard medium. They are well made with leather lining and a moderate western style (nice stitching, no bling). They were just what I wanted, and, sadly, I have to return them. At the moment there are no wide boots available. If you have a narrow foot, definitely get these boots!

I thought the boots were comfortable. I ordered the size I usually wear and they fit well. I'm disappointed to return them but the heel was a little higher than I'm comfortable with, living in snow and ice country.

My foot is on the wide side, so I knew that ordering the medium width was taking a chance. But I loved the red color and was hoping that they would fit. It was laughable how narrow they were and how nonexistent the chances were that my feet would fit in them. Beautiful boots, but just not an option for me :-(

So disappointed that I couldn’t keep them loved the look/style but sizing is not true to other Ariats I’ve owned before. My size was too short and the next size up was too wide and roomy, the heel cup was too loose and slipped up and down enough to cause blisters. Having trouble getting app to let me return so I guess I’ll have to call.

Form over function. I have been getting so many compliments on these red boots, they look terrific. I like how they look with pants, leggings, and dresses. I wish the soles and the bottom of the boots were better quality, like leather soles or other "real" cowboy boots. There are plastic ad they do not absorb shock well. They do not flex well if you want to walk a little faster or be on rugged terrain. These are not exactly comfortable either. I often choose comfort over style (Danskos, Keens, etc) and I very much like these for the style NOT the comfort. I want to take them off right away at the end of the day

These were so cute but just won't work for me. I have Ariat boots in other styles in a 7.5 and these felt small, I would order a half size larger than your normal size in Ariats. These also didn't have as much room in the front for toes, maybe in a bigger size they might but even comparing them to my other boots in the same size, the toe area is noticeably smaller.

I want this boot! Sadly it just does not fit my foot. Tried the 9.5 after trying the 8.5 & 9 - the toe box fits but the heel is way too big. Normal shoe size - 8.5/9 narrowish. Thanks Zappo - you make returns so easy.

I bought these as what would be my third pair of ariats, so I know my size. these felt much more narrow and overall tight compared to my others. I know there is a break in period but my heal did not slip so they felt overall too small. Didn't love the style of a round toe. prefer pointed or square. nice room around my larger ankles.

Attractive style with stitched accents and hard-to-find rounded toe, which I find far more graceful than super-pointy or squared toes. The shock-absorbent 1.5-2"heel gives a little height. I can stand and walk in them for long periods of time (and they're quiet for boots). Short shaft and zipper makes it easy to put on, and are cooler for hot summers. They run half to 3/4 size large. You might buy a smaller size and take out the liner for a couple weeks til they break in.

I am trying to find a pair of cowboy boots to wear with a skirt, shorts, or skinny jeans, but sadly these were not the ones for me. While they fit true to size (I wear size 8) and offered great support, the slightly pointed toe felt funny, as did the wide shaft of the boot. The leather has a glossy look to it, while quality leather, it kind of gives a fake leather impression. I really wanted them to work, but am going to try the Ariat Rompers and Workhogs next time. I think if pointy toes are your thing, then these are extremely comfortable. Just don't mind the heel slippage, I guess that is normal. The search continues...

I really love these boots. The style is cute, the color is beautiful, and they are extremely comfortable. I almost kept them, but I need them for dancing and they have a rubber outer sole, so I a hesitantly sending them back.

Cute Shoes and fairly comfortable. I normally wear a 7.5 or 8 wide. Based on reviews I ordered the 8W and 8.5W. The 8 was too small and the 8.5 was almost too big, but would work okay, if I decide to keep them.
