Loved the old Apex for great design. Very disappointed when I tried them on this weekend. Love the feel , the way they look, So comfortable but all sizes where off . Sleeves to long. Would not zip comfortably. Medium was tight on the shoulders.Large was way to big.

I have an old TNF Apex Bionic and I love it, as far as this new up-date I hate it. I bought the same size as I normally wear and its just too big! I wouldn't buy this jacket again, go back to the old style than I would purchase another one. Another thing I don't like about it is that the pocket has the elastic pull string to tighten around your waist and if you need to pull it in tight than you have this unwanted extra string in your pockets. Not impressed with this jacket at all! I would say it USE to be my favorite jacket now it doesn't even make the list! Very disappointed.

I received a coat from my husband from NF in December before Christmas. It did not fit, and I didn't need a coat; so I sent it back. This cost me $7 shipping. I then ordered a hoodie and a jacket with the refund. I received this package a few weeks later. The hoodie fit fine, but the jacket was too small and not at all like the picture...It had horrible white stitching. I sent this jacket back...another $7 shipping. I ordered a different style jacket (this style) in a larger size since the other was too small. This jacket, although as pictured, is too big. I'm over it. Another $7 and a few weeks, and I'd have a good jacket, except now I need to ADD more money to the original gift amount to receive this very same jacket. $21 to return jackets...waiting a week for NF to receive the package...waiting a few days for NF to process the return...waiting a few days for NF to process the refund...wait a week or two for the package to arrive...be disappointed AGAIN. Rinse and repeat. I'm over it. There it sits in it's box in my dining room waiting for me to make time to drive it to Fed Ex to be returned. I get mad every time I think about it. I'm not even sure I'll wear it even when/if I ever receive the right one because I really don't want to advertise your product anymore.

The green color in the picture is beautiful; but in person it is an awkward blue green. The fit varies greatly from other North Face products. It is extremely snug across the chest and the sleeves are too long. Returned.

I was looking forward to putting this over my osito fleece. The fleece is much larger than this product, and it won't fit. So I thought I'd just try wearing the softshell. The fit is awful. I don't want a jacket that hugs the body. This is the skinny jeans fit of jackets. Also, I was freezing in it! It's not warm at all. I'll definitely be returning it and sticking with my fleece.

I am 5'3", 110 lb, 32DD, 28" waist. I ordered a small. The chest and shoulders are tight, the waist is HUGE and not fitted. The jacket has no stretch. I am so very disappointed. I wanted a stretchy, windproof jacket that I could move my arms in, that was fitted and flattering. I would NOT recommend this coat. Too small in chest too big in waist.
