I love Hunter rain boots and they are a must for walking the dog in the rain! I have 15 inch calves, but needed some extra room in boots to accommodate my jeans. Even on the smallest adjustment, these boots had more room at the top than needed. There was such a gap, the inside of the boots would get wet if I'd been out in the rain! I currently own the Hunter Original tall boots and they don't have any room for jeans... I'll be trying the Hunter Original Tall Adjustables in hopes the circumference is a little more reasonable.

Love the look. Don't wear for warmth unless your layering or wearing wool socks!

I needed a pair of rain boots for the occasional rain storm and frequent fishing trip to the local lake with my daughter. I tried on several pairs (UGG, Columbia, tall Hunters, Chooka) and ended up with this pair. It seemed like the best mix of fit and style (I didn't like the ones that came mid calf, so it came down to this shorter or the tall Hunters that came just below my knee, but those were tight on my calf). I loved these when I tried them on, but after I wore them once, they left welts around my bare legs where they chafed when I walked to and from our fishing spot. I still have the marks two weeks later. So, I guess I wouldn't recommend these if you're not planning on wearing pants or tall socks with them, I won't make that mistake again. As far as size, I usually wear a 7.5 in regular shoes, 8.5 in sneakers, and I went with the 7. They are a little snug, but I didn't want them falling off, and I'm not planning on wearing them as a winter shoe so I didn't need a thick sock (at least I wasn't before I realized I was going to have to wear pants with them. Sigh.)

I wanted to like these but if you are small these boots are HUGE. The calf area could fit 2 of mine and they were way to clunky. Also I'm a 8 and the 8s were dedicated a half size big. I had to return

Super cute boots but run very large. Normally a size 8, which is what I ordered. I’d definitely go down to a 6, maybe even 5. Had to return them but would definitely purchase them again if smaller sizes come back in stock.

Very cute boots, but run large. I ordered my normal size, 8, and they are huge. I could have gone to at least 7 or maybe even a 6. Unfortunately 6, and 7 are out of stock so I’m returning. :(

Fits wide calf and wide feet. Order larger size if you add arch supports, My 7.5 w foot fit in 8 with arch supports, in 7 without arch supports, also I prefer double wide to protect my neuroma, and these were wide enough!

I'm really disappointed that these Hunter boots don't fit and I'm returning them. From the other reviews, I thought I might have a chance. I wear a 9, and even have slightly wide feet. I ordered 9. The boots are a bit long in the front and the back. The heel area is too wide and slips. All this even with thick socks. I'd feel unsafe wearing them in the rain walking my dog and tramping around the now soggy dog park. Too bad. They look good and seem to made very well, and are made in England as far as I can tell.

These were uncomfortable even with my orthodontics inserted. The price is too high for simple rain boots.

Size 8 is too tight in the ankle. I’m usually between a 7.5 and 8 in shows and boots.

These boots looked real but they started peeling off in the back. Not real rubber!

I'm giving this one star, simply because although the boots were easy to get on, comfortable to walk in and supportive, THEY WERE IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE. So back they went.

I was shocked by how awful these are for me, given how many people love them! They are super heavy, super hard to get on, and if you have a high instep, forget it.
