So cute! Perfect height on calf. I am 5'4. Only in full sizes. I wear 7.5, purchased a 7 and great toe barely touches the end without socks, so probably going up a size.

Really like these boots. They are comfortable and fit my calves! (16 1/2) There is still additional room for pants.

After much searching I finally have rain boots! For me, tall hunter boots simply aren't an option as even the adjustable back boots only barely fit my calf - forget about pants! These short ones are perfect, they look great, and they are sturdy enough to last for a long time

So happy! My calves are too big for even the adjustable back tall boots but these worked out perfectly. I went a size up because I have wide feet and I have room for the inserts which are next on my list!

I LOVE these boots. I bought these to replace a pair of the classic short hunters that I shoved my thicker calves into for five years. These fit like a dream, with space to spare for jeans or thick leggings. Even not tightened, the fleece hunter boot socks fit well with them. They're also a nice, light weight rubber unlike other boots I've owned that made me tired to walk in. I'm usually an 8.5 or 9, and the 8s fit well. Zappos was out of 9s, which I was curious to compare, but I'm pretty sure any bigger would be too loose on my heels.

I really wanted to love these but the color was not as I expected. I have other Hunters and think they are just the best so I wanted an alternative. The color is more of a hunter green rather than an olive, like the photo shows.

I wish I hadn't spent so much money on cheap rainboots over the years. Recently with California's wet winter, I decided to bite the bullet and buy Hunter. I didn't realize that it was such a high quality boot. My calves measure 14.5 and the cinch in the back of the boot is perfect. I can wear jeans or leggings tucked in no problem. I wear typically an 8 1/2 or 9, favoring 9s usually for comfort and I bought an 8. Any larger and my foot would be swimming in it. Love Zappos next day shipping, makes shopping for shoes a breeze!

I'd never owned rain boots prior to having these. I am 5'2" with large, athletic calves, and I usually avoid purchasing any sort of boot. These were a game changer! They go on easily and have a buckle at the shaft you can adjust to fit your calves just perfectly without being excessively large.

I ordered a ton of boots and this one is the keeper. It's a soft rubber with a little heel so I'm not walking like a duck. There's no buckling when I walk and I wore it for over an hour in the kitchen without my feet sweating. The green matches my parka so that's good for those ugly rainy Chicago days. I wear an 8.5 W in most shoes and the 8 fits me great with thin or thick socks.

These are great boots! I also have the tall version that I wear on our farm, but I wanted a pair that was clean for quick throwing on to wear around town. These are perfect, they look great with my skinnies for work also! they are a little pricier than other brands but I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for! I ordered a 9 (my normal size) and they fit great with room for a thick sock if needed.

Starting simple, this boot is perfect. The shaft is loose enough for shapely, muscular calves. Though the footbed is a bit roomy- I wear a size 8 and orderd an 8, this type of footwear requires a gel foam insert anyway, in my option and that with a pair of regular gauge socks solves that. These really are the best rain boots I've owned. Worth the investment! *Side note- I had originally purchased the Hunter tall and the were so tight around the calf I couldn't get them off. I called Zappos to work through some points/coupons that had been applied to the less expensive boot to see if they could be applied to the adjustable short boot, ($60.00 more) and the Zappos team came through for me. The staff at Zappos gets five stars as well!

I bought the Hunter shirt adjustable boot. I usually wear size 6.5 and purchased the size 6. It fits perfectly even with the hunter boot socks. The Hunter tall boots didn't work out for me due to the fact I'm 5'2" so these Hunter Short boots are perfect. I would recommend these for sure. They are surprisingly comfortable too!

I was very happy when I received these boots but unfortunately had to send them back because they were too big.(my fault for not listening to the recommended size). Waiting on the smaller size , hope they fit.

I bought these for my 14 year old. They have her blisters on the sides of her ankles the first time she wore them. Also the back adjustable strap is super long and hangs off once you tighten it up. Worked well though at the Cider Mill and walking through the grove for apple picking and hiking though the corn maze. Perfect shoe/boot for outdoors and fields with mud.

Love these boots!.... they fit great and are so cute and very nice, high end rain boots. However, they do not provide much arch support or cushion. I suggest adding some type of additional foot cushion in them if you will be doing a lot of walking.

The boots look good and overall fit well. It would be nice if they came with a good insole that not only provided some arch support but also helped keep your feet warm. But I guess I could add that on my own but for the price they should include something.
