The arch support was great! (and I like support like Birks and Vionics). But-- the toe space is just not right for me. I ordered these a half size larger, then returned them for another half size larger, . . . and the problem is that the toe is sewn too flat (my toe nail hits the top of the shoe in a really obnoxious way) and they're too pointy. Unless, of course, you're like my sister, whose big toe points inward from wearing all those pointy shoes when we were teenagers = ) , then it'll be fine. They're going back, so sad, I really wanted to like them

These look adorable, but they are tight and I have narrow feet. I normally wear a size 7 but these were too small. Not sure if a size up or half size up would have been the answer but I returned them. I didn't care for the off white of the exterior outer sole.

Too stiff

I run anywhere from a 9.5W to a 10, and occasionally can get away with a 9/9W in Sandals. These fit very oddly. I ordered a 10W, and they were barely long enough and way too wide. I decided not to exchange because I felt like they looked like toddler shoes that had been enlarged.

These have GREAT arch support, are cute and casual, and great for everyday wear. Or, I thought when I initially tried them on and subsequently purchased them. Less than four months after regular wear,(4-5 work days per week) the arch support has depleted noticeably. Additionally, the soles are made of a thin, light rubber. I can feel every little pebble or twig I step on, and has limited texture remaining (see photos from another reviewer as the wear on mine are similar), making it quite easy to slip on any slick surface. I emailed the company directly to tell them of my disappointment, but thought I'd leave a review here as well.

Cute shoe and seems well made. I ordered 1/2 size up to accommodate orthotics, but should have ordered my normal size. The one thing that didn't work is that they felt too narrow. Otherwise it's a nice looking shoe.

These are cute but they really run small. I saw that on the write-up so I ordered a full size larger. They were incredibly tight, so much so that by the time they were remotely comfy the laces couldn't even tie. Seems like more and more shoes/sneakers aren't fitting and even close to the sizes they say they are. Bummer. The search continues.

These are cute but did not fit my foot. The padding in the heel is too thick and the padding on the ball of the foot is non existent. Quite peculiar! When I tried walking around the house in them, my heels slipped out and my toes felt like they were walking on concrete. Sadly , I must return. Oh and the Charcoal has off white laces and soles. I thought they would be white. Sigh!

I was disappointed with this purchase. The sole and arch support was nice, however the top and toe box are very hard and made my feet hurt after a little while. I wish I hadn't worn them outside, otherwise I would be returning this.

I ordered a 1/2 size larger than normal and this shoe was still too small. I'd go up at least one size.

I ordered what I thought would be the right size - a half size up from my usual 9 - but these were still too small on me and I ended up opting for a different pair of sneakers I'd also ordered that fit out of the box. The style is good though, and the top material feels like it's pretty decent quality. The sage green color was really nice too.

Both shoes hurt the back of my heels without even walking in the shoes.

I have two pairs of Taos canvas shoes that i love. These were very stiff and felt narrow even though they were a wide.

The shoes were narrow which was good for me, but still slipped on heels. The soles of the shoes were hard and not comfortable.

I need more cushioning.

I use orthotics but could tell that the Taos arch support is outstanding. The sneaker felt tight (I have a normal width foot, but a high arch) and the sides hit the bottom of my ankle bones which was very uncomfortable. The back rubbed my Achilles in a weird way too. Love the look, but had to send them back.

I wear a US size 7W or a 7.5 regular width. The 7.5 was way too long and the 7 way too short. European sizing just doesn't fit. The arch support is ample. I cannot use the slip in orthotic that I use with the arch in the way. So these weren't good for me. They are well made and a nice updated basic style.

I normally wear a size 10. Bought these in 11 but still way too small. Not impressed with shoe.

I followed directions and ordered larger, and in my usual W width. They till seemed too small, too narrow, and—oddly—the arch support was halfway down my foot instead of under my arch. My foot is not that weird! Sending back.

The soles were thin and hard. Only the insole is nicely padded.

Highly uncomfortable

The shoes fit well; but the inside heel felt rough.

Not as much arch support and padding as expected. Bought a 1/2 size up as suggested but is loose all around. I usually like Taos sandals but am sending these sneakers back.
