I wanted to love these cute shoes. They were so uncomfortable. The arch support was nice, but the rest of the insole felt like I was walking directly on the floor. The canvas was also quite stiff with very little give. Sent them back.

Uncomfortable and you could feel where the insoles ended because they didn’t fill the shoe. Shoes were uncomfortably tight in the toes.

My foot is a standard size 10M which is the size of every pair of shoes I own. I recently purchased two pairs of size 10M Taos sandals that fit me perfectly, both of which I have been wearing all summer. For the life of me, I couldn't get my foot inside the size 10M sneaker because it was so narrow that I returned them and purchased the 10W. What the heck! I tried the size 10W on without socks and they were still so tight that I wouldn't have been able to get my foot inside, even if I had worn the thinnest pair of socks. This will be my last Taos purchase because this has been a big waste of time.

The fit and size are okay, but I bought these because the footbed was removable, wanting to put in my own custom ones. When I removed the footbed that comes with, I realized there is no midsole whatsoever, which makes them feel very un-cushioned, even with my footbeds. So these are pretty cheaply made. The style is great, though, so if you don't need to switch out the footbeds, you'll be fine.

Taos needs to do something about their crazy sizing! When I have to read reviews to know what size to order instead of going by the number, that's not right. They could also make the toe boxes on their shoes roomier. These squished my poor toes down most uncomfortably.

While I love the looks and style of TAOS footwear, their sizing is ridiculously inconsistent. I bought another style that was a bit narrow for my wide feet. Since this style came in wide width, I thought it would be perfect. Nope. This wide show fits exactly the same as the other medium. I'm really disappointed.

I liked these shoes - but - the forefoot felt very thin even if the sole didn't look it. If you don't need padding between your feet and the floor, you should be fine. These have a very cute and distinctive lacing, but it's not intuitive to tighten or loosen the laces. If I had kept the shoes I am sure it would have become second nature, but it's an adjustment. (Or I would have re-laced them to something more traditional and less fun.)

I wanted to love these so much but I did not. Cute style and decent support, but stiff and too narrow and pointy for me. Fit was just not right for me.

I have never been so misled by reviews! This is one of the most uncomfortable sneakers I have ever tried on. I ordered up a half size and that still was not enough. So if you decide to order this rigid, flat soled, squeaky, scratchy shoe that rubs your toes and heel, be sure to order a full size up!

The Taos shoes were "okay", not great, not terribly bad. But when wearing for a long day, they do tend to hurt my feet.

I found the shoe to be very stiff and uncomfortable for a tennis shoe. The foot bed was very hard and unforgiving. Cute, but I need more comfort!

No room in the toe box. Shoe seemed very flat except for an uncomfortably high arch. An uncomfortable combination.

The shoe is INCREDIBLY stiff. Fits narrow, so definitely order a wide or size up. I returned because I'm looking for a stylish shoe that is good foot comfort/walking. There is no arch support and very little cushion. If I'm going for a shoe with little support, I'd pick a MUCH cuter shoe and just add inserts.

I love the look of these shoes! Super cute. The are not wide enough. I bought my size in a wide and I couldn't keep them on my feet more than a few minutes.

I ordered these for the style--very cute--but I'm returning them because of the lack of comfort. They are very stiff. I don't want to wait to break in a casual shoe--it should be comfortable as soon as you put it on!

The arch support was excellent, however, the shoe was so stiff overall I didn't think I would ever wear them so sent them back.

Love the Taos sandals, but dislike these shoes, a lot! Very uncomfortable - arch support in a weird place. Cute to look at but no way will I keep these. Disappointed because I own at least 3 pairs of the sandals.

Although the fit on these was fine, there is absolutely no cushioning under the ball of the foot. Will be returning them.

Had such high hopes for this shoe, But for me it was extremely uncomfortable. Cute shoes just not the right fit.

These shoes were just not as cute as I wanted them to be. More importantly, I trust Taos shoes to provide great support, and these shoes just did not have that. I returned them.

The Jekyll and Hyde of shoes. These shoes look fantastic sitting on the floor but on my feet, it was another story -- major cankles, I'm sad to say. Also, the fit was off and the comfort was disappointing. The insides of these shoes felt rough/scratchy if tried on with no socks. Despite the Wide width (which I need), the toe box was too tight/low. My big toes were being crushed down. Returned these and kept a very similar pair from different brand that were padded inside and had a roomier toe box.

oh man... i wanted to love these so much! i really like the style & color. i read so many reviews before ordering them that i thought for sure i'd love love love them. i didn't. they felt too tight all over, which is weird for me because my feet are on the slightly narrow side & shoes normally feel a little too wide for me. they also felt really "low" overall - meaning as though my foot wasn't covered enough (kind of like vans, but worse feeling). the material was really stiff & reminded me of wearing 'cardboard shoes' - which wasn't what i was looking for ; ) i walked around my apartment for about 20 min in them, just to be 100% sure i couldn't live with them, and i just couln't. not comfortable at all. i'm so bummed & will be returning them today.

These sneakers did not work for me at all. The arch support is good but the shoes themselves are rather stiff and uncomfortable. Also, the top of the tongue and the upper part of the back of the shoe hit my foot at very bad spots which is painful. I tried these shoes in both my usual size and the next size up -- same problems. I will have to return them.
