Very cute shoe but they were returned immediately. After putting them on and walking the length of my bedroom the canvas material was so stiff the tops of my feet were hurting where your foot and toes meet and bend. Took them off, put them in the box and returned them.

They don't fit well but they are super cute, just can't wear them...

I ordered a half size up and they were too small. I returned them and did not exchange because they seemed stiff and not that comfortable.

Really tried to made these work. Despite the decent arch support, there's almost no padding under the ball of the foot. Tried it with cushioned socks and swapped in custom orthotic, but it still felt hard. Agree with the other comments about the laces being super thick. If I kept them, I would've swapped them out for something less thick and contrasty. Plus they really do squeak. In short, cute but returned!

Ok I loved the shoe, nice casual style. It also looked good on my flipper-wide feet. Issue was on my left foot, the top of the heel was digging into my ankle pretty badly when I took steps. It rubbed it to redness and I barely had the shoes on for a minute to try them on. Anyway maybe I just needed to size up but I already had. I’m an 8.5 to 9 wide and had purchased the 9.5W. I wanted to keep them but the canvas just isn’t soft enough to handle that weird cutting in situation at the top of the heel. If I were in a physical store I would try another pair of the same size - maybe I got a bad pair.

Well, they're cute. But these shoes are STIFF. And I wore them around my house for an hour, really hoping they would work. But, my toes kept hitting the end (I usually wear a 9, bought a 9.5 based upon reviews.) I'm sadly returning this shoe, because for and $80 sneaker I can't overlook the flaws. If I paid $30 I might try to break them in and hope they give a little in the toe, because they are CUTE. But, alas. Not the case.

These are very cute shoes, but the arch was all wrong for me. It felt too high and too far forward for my foot. Sorry they didn't fit right.

It just wasn’t as cute as I had hoped for a daily white sneaker.

These looked very cute out of the box and fit true to size but I did not find them particularly comfortable and I thought the styling was actually pretty "meh" on my foot. Opting for Keds Center instead - less expensive and more comfortable and looked better on my feet. Grateful for easy Zappos returns!

I was so disappointed in these shoes. Did not fit well at all. I wish I had not worn them - I would have returned them :(

This shoe fit the widest part of my foot quite well, but was oddly too narrow in the toes. My big toe rubbed the side of the shoe, and I tried this in two sizes. I did love the overall look, just not the fit. I wear an 8.5 wide.

The fit of the arch support was just a little bumpy honestly and meant for high arch fit. I have a moderate arch and this was just too much to be comfortable. The arch ultimately rocked my feet outward too much and would have affected my ankles and knees if worn for any amount of time.

I never even tried them on. Once out of the box, I decided I didn't care for the material or the way they actually looked. Sorry Zappos, they are going back.

I really like the shoe, but it is so stiff. It might soften with wear, but they bothered my feet enough that I didn't want to take that chance.

I’ve decided I don’t like the fit

These shoes are very cute. I wear a size 7, the width and length were perfect but the arch was too far forward from the arch of my foot to feel comfortable. The fabric is fun but a little stiff. If it weren't for the arch not fitting my foot, I would not be returning them.

I have worn Taos Star shoes for years. This year the sole of the shoes are slippery. The non-slip material is only in strips. Can not afford to fall. For this reason I am returning them.

the shoes fit well; though a tad wide. and they are DARLING! The problem is the material. Canvas is just hot. I live in the South and don't need anything to make my feet hotter.

After reading several reviews, I decided to order a half size bigger than I usually wear. Even doing this, the shoe does not fit well. My toes rub the front of the shoe. Will be returning for a whole shoe size larger.

Although the length was great they didn’t feel comfortable when I walked. Cute shoes!

These ran small and came down low on my heel, so were uncomfortable to walk in. My feet are on the wider side but I don't usually need Wides. Too bad because I really loved the look of these.

I usually wear a size 8. I bought both an 8 and 8 1/2 . The 8 was the "fit" but unfortunately, the shoe fit oddly. The toe box was too narrow and the heel was too wide and would slip with each step. The canvas is also super stiff and the show feels clunky. They're really good looking but I returned them and bought converse.

I really liked the style and color (blue) of these sneakers. Unfortunately, as some stated, they run small. I usually size up a 1/2 size, from 7 1/2 to an 8 in sneakers, which I did with these and ordered an 8. Still they are too small and I must return them.

I ordered two Taos shoes because they are well made and gorgeous - but the extreme, hard arch support is forcing me to return them.

When I bought them, I absolutely loved these shoes! They are cute, and super comfortable! However, the reason I'm giving them an overall rating of only three stars is because only a few times after wearing them, the outside fabric started to look a little fuzzy which I didn't really mind, but then only a few months after purchasing them, the lining of the shoe was already worn through at the heel. I'm hoping this is just a manufacturing issue and am in the process of exchanging them for another pair because they really are some of the most comfortable sneakers I've worn, and it took me a really long time to find sneakers that fit (I have really big feet) and were comfortable to walk in.
