I really liked this shoe and can tell it is well made. I generally wear a 9.5, but in sneakers can often be comfortable in a 10, so I ordered that to be safe. The length and width were perfect (my foot is on the narrow side). The only reason I'm not keeping these is the canvas is pretty stiff, and I'm looking for something I can wear without socks. If it weren't for that, I think these shoes would be great and would hold up for a long time.

I have had a real problem finding this style of shoe that is actually wide (not just a longer shoe marked "Wide"). This is the best one I have found. It is just a smidge tight on my pinkie toes, but I am sure it will be fine with continued wear. They are also very cute and just wanted I wanted!

A Facebook ad promised these would be the most comfortable sneakers I would ever own. I don't know about that, but they do provide great arch support and I didn't have any blisters after wearing them all day with no socks. And they look super cute. I ordered 1/2 size up and in a Wide. I don't normally wear a wide shoe, but noticed other reviews about them being too narrow or uncomfortable with bunions. My shoes fit perfectly. They were a bit stiff, and squeaked at first. I think they will take a few more wears to break in and soften up. Maybe then they will be the most comfortable sneakers I own. Hard to beat my Sketcher's GoWalk, but these are cuter.

Very cute sneakers. Liked the color and style. Ordered up a half size based on the reviews and they fit well. Only issue is that I have a high arch and while the arch support seemed at the right level, it hit my foot in the wrong spot. Maybe because of the half size larger? Sending them back. :(

VERY cute and stylish -- my fashion-maven NYC daughter loved them. I ordered a half size up and they fit well. I've been wearing them around the house for a couple of days. They're pretty comfortable. I'm pulling the plug and going outside, but I think there'll be a break-in period, because I do feel some rubbing in the heel.

great looking shoes, but just not comfortable. these have very nice arch support though, they are really worth trying on. tight across the top for me although I don't have plump feet I do have high arch.

I ended up returning these because they were about a half size too short for me. I was bummed though because I loved the arch support, which I really need in a shoe, and I could tell they would have been very comfortable if my big toe wasn't hitting the end of the shoe.

Have always worn a size 7 except in Taos shoes. I have to order a 7.5. Cute and nice shoe.

I love this shoe and would recommend it for comfort and fit. However I ordered it a half size larger than I usually do and it was a much better fit.

They do not seem to run small. Because of the reviews I bought the next 1/2 size up and they are too big. I really did need the 6.5. My foot slips out in the back with every step. I did buy the denim that came with the blue laces. I really like the look and will keep them as I have worn them ~ my fault. They were perfect for what I was wearing that day and I didn't bother to test drive them around the house first. The will be ok to work and back, as I change into work shoes at the office. I can't really judge them on comfort because they are too large.

They are cute, but much snugger than expected.

Very cute and comfortable except the tongue came up too high on my foot. Made very well. Lovely colors. It is my foot that's the problem not this shoe.

These are great shoes -- just not for me (I have foot problems and they don't have enough cush).

I bought Taos Star in white from a mall retail store, and wanted another color option. I ordered the same size (US 8) in black, but they are so small! There must be a Euro Taos and US Taos option. My original pair say US 8/Euro 39. I didn't see any Euro option in the Zappos drop down menu, but ordered the 8. My mistake. Even the actual shoe does not have a Euro size printed under the tongue. These will do back, and I will go back to the mall (ugh) to see what I can find. If you are an 8, I would order the 8.5. I have 2 different size feet (almost 1/2 size) and this 8 was snug on even my smaller foot. As far as the style goes? If they are the exact same construction, the shoes are amazing right out of the box. I wore the white pair for the first time on vacation and walked several miles (with light socks) with only a tiny bit of rubbing on one heel and no blister.

These are super cute! I love Taos footwear and these are no exception. They are a little on the snug side, however. I am only able to wear them with very thin, or footie socks. Anything thicker and I can't cram my size 9 canal boats into them. It's not a true problem, because these are a warm weather style, but if you favor heavier socks (even tennis socks), you may want to go half a size larger. My toe on my larger foot is right up against the tip of the toe box. Good arch support and I expect they will be fine for walking.

The shoe is cute and trendy. They have very good insoles for arch support. One feature I love with these shoes is they make your foot look so small. i wear a 9.5-10 and need all the help I can get to not look like I have giant feet.

These were comfortable everywhere except where they hit my heal which rubbed and was annoying just trying them on.

Love these sneakers! But what I had to go thru to get the right fit was insane.....Some size 9 fit like 8.5, and some fit like 9.5. Same issue with 9.5, some were too short and others too long & wide. The sole came unglued from the one pair that did fit just right. Hope the pair I have on now stays together. Cinderella never had to go thru this amount of aggravation.....

I liked these shoes very much. I had to return them due to size. I normally wear a 10 to 10&1/2. I ended up buying an 11 which I normally swim in but tgry were perfect. I appreciated the narrow heel since I often have trouble with slippage. Good support and very cute. Order a full size up.

I really wanted to love these and had they fit well I would've bought them in several colors. I've been searching for cute casual canvas shoes that would be comfortable enough to wear out to the store or running errands. These are indeed very cute. Unfortunately they didn't fit me well. They fit a full size smaller and were much stiffer than expected. Both the sole and the top of the shoe over the toe was very stiff. The canvas felt thick and durable which is good but I guess as a result of that it's not as flexible or forgiving to movement of sensitive feet. I'm size 9-10 in most shoes, with narrow (A width) but long feet. I ordered size 10, even though they felt small my heel still slid up and down as I walked, as if there wasn't enough height on the back of the shoe to hang onto my foot. If I go up a size to 10.5 I'm afraid it's going to have even more slippage at the heel. Unfortunately I think they just weren't meant for my long, narrow, sensitive feet. However the insole and arch support felt great and I loved the low profile aspect of the sole. Thank you Zappos for fast shipping, accepting returns and processing refunds so fast!

Even cuter in real life than in the photos! Seem to be strongly made with materials that will last. Padding in the right spots. I ordered a half size up, but they were just too short for my foot. My big toe was pressed against the front of the shoe before I even stood up. In every other way they fit really well, so going up in size more may not work well for me.

This pair of Taos sneaker does not fit as well as other Taos sneakers I own so I will return them. They are cute and the color is good.

This is my second pair of Taos. I bought them for travel that included a lot of walking— they were exactly what I needed! Style and comfort! Two thumbs way up!! ????
