I was super bummed these didn’t fit. I bought 2 pair of this style, different colors, and both were narrower than a typical wide width shoe so I’m comfortable saying the width runs narrow. Too bad, because this really is a cute, casual shoe. I’d never purchased Tä?s until now and likely won’t again.

Unfortunately my heels slip out of these. They do run small; I am usually an 8 or 8.5 and ordered the 8.5. They are cute shoes but just don’t fit my heels correctly.

The fit was good. I love the style. I would’ve liked it with more padding in the insoles but overall it’s a good shoe.

I’m glad I tried these on in a store prior to ordering or I would not have ordered them large enough. They bulge through the inner arch so I only feel comfortable wearing them with long pants. Comfort is great, though! I like the mauve, which seems to have more of a purple tint. Fun color!

Really cute shoe and excellent arch support

I ordered my usual size but these were really small. I liked the look so I will order a bigger size.

I usually take an 8 in Brooks running shoes and ordered an 8 in these and fit perfectly. The arch support is fantastic, but not as much cushion for the balls of the feat. These are very cute and are great for me to run errands in or to go out with some friends.

I only gave 4 stars because I really haven't worn these shoes much, but so far they are very comfortable. Great arch support. I did order 1/2 size up after reading previous reviews, and glad I did. Love the style and fit. I have lots of foot issues, so comfort is important - I think I'll like these.

The first pair of these I ordered, I ordered a half size bigger after reading the reviews, they were too big so I sent them back and ordered my usual size and they fit perfect. I have a wide foot, so I ordered the wide. I wore these a whole day without any socks and they did rub a blister on my little toe on one foot. They are really comfortable otherwise and I am going to try them with a small sock the next time I wear them and I think they will be fine. The arch support in these is very comfortable. All in all I love the look and if I can rectify the blister issue, they are very comfortable.

Remarkable comfort considering the sturdy canvas gives these cute sneakers some weight. The style is great with jeans or joggers or even summer shorts. I have these in beige wash, white, and grey wash. The neutrals go with all my wardrobe. I like the contrast stitching and the wide laces. They’re easy to spot clean, they stand up to walking around on city pavement without rubbing or hot spots, the arch support is fantastic. My feet do not get tired, my left foot bunion doesn’t cry in pain because there’s good toe room. I think they are classically stylish and worth the price. You’ll get plenty of years of wear. Definitely size up a half size.

So comfortable for casual shoe! Normally wear size 8. Had to get 8W. So far so good. Wore them for a 30 min walk with dogs so far.

My feet are 10" long/thin but not narrow/wear normal shoe widths, bunion on one foot. After multiple orders, I think I know which style shoe I like but I feel the full price point is more than I feel they're worth to me. The foot bed and colors are superb though and I'll hopefully end up w/a pair. Taos styles I tried in my normal shoe size, Size 9/Width M: PLIM SOUL in Blue Wash Canvas and White: slight clunky feel compared to other streamlined Taos sneaker styles but they fit, deal breaker is height of white rubber sides (currently in style but I don't love); MOC STAR in Indigo Distressed and White Softy Canvas: like the look of Indigo pair but look too casual for the price; STAR BURST in Beige/Tan: disliked color/stitching/grommets so didn't try on; STAR in Khaki Washed Canvas and White Canvas: khaki left shoe bothered my achilles tendon but right shoe didn't so go figure, khaki not as "tan" in real life; White Canvas disliked contrasting grommets and stitching, also decided white shoes aren't my style.

This is my 3rd pair of Taos stars. The soles of my previous pairs (star and moc star) wore through. The uppers were still in great shape. The only problem with fit is that the rounded toe shape needs to move the center of the apex a bit more toward the inside (big toe). I’d like the forefoot area to have a bit of padding too. I strike my heel first when I walk, so the padded heel and excellent arch support make up for the lack of forefoot cushioning and toe shape. You just can’t find insoles like these in other shoes!

I love the look of these shoes. They quite comfortable enough, but I really didn’t need another canvas sneaker. Great looking, but not so different from Keds or Converse.

The canvas is a little stiffer than I was expected which makes the shoes a little harder to put on but I am hoping it will ease over time. The mauve color looks great and the style of the shoes looks as good as expected.

I wrote a review saying how much I like these, and I really do! I like the color and the arch support, plus they are lightweight. Except, the tongue is too short. I can’t lace them all the way to the top because the bow ends up on my foot and is way too short. I ended up returning and am going to try the MoC Star.

Feels good, having a nice arch support for a change in a knock around shoe.

I usually wear a 7 1/2, sized up to 8 and they fit well. They are canvas, and I found them a little stiff but they soften with wear. Fit a little narrow at first, but the canvas upper relaxed just a bit. The shoelaces could be an inch or two longer. Excellent foot and arch support. Overall they are a very nice sneaker when you need one.

These were really cute in person. Lots of arch support too. I had to return them though because the toe box felt really short in height. To be fair my big toes tend to stick up a bit, which makes finding cute canvas shoes a bit more difficult. So close though! If your toes are nice and flat you won't have a problem!

These shoes are very comfortable right out of the box. Also, very cute. Only complaint is that they are squeaky [annoyingly so] I hope that stops as the shoe is worn more. For style, I wish the white sole rose up a little bit with the arch. That area on the outside of the shoe looks a little bit 'orthodic'. ??

I ordered these shoes to replace my madden NYC 'Brennen' slip-on sneakers from Kohl's. Those had completely fallen apart in just a few months' wear. When I got these, these are fairly stiff, but I imagine with wear it will loosen up quite nicely. The color is great. It's not a bold or highly saturated, which looks so nice. The insole has considerable arch support - so much so I didn't need to pull out the insole and put in the ones built by my podiatrist. I live in SoCal so I do a ton of walking, and these have been pretty darn comfortable. I wish they weren't so stiff feeling, but once they're broken in, they'll be a dream. My one true wish about these shoes? I wish the laces were longer. If you have "fat feet" or really high arches, you'll probably want to come armed with your own shoelaces.

These were a bit stiff at first, but I think they would soften up quickly. I am currently looking for light-weight walking shoes for travel and these were a bit too heavy, although I loved the way they looked.

I purchased these for travel based on the USA Today recommendation. The shoes are lightweight, cute, the footbed is comfortable and supportive, and the grey color is a great neutral. However, the sole is rather thin and flexible and I didn't feel that it would offer support on uneven surfaces or insulation from pebbles or other small debris. Maybe because the sole tilts upward at the front, my big toe nail pressed up against the fabric; in the few minutes I wore them around the house, my toe was getting sore and, even if I were willing to put up with the discomfort, I feared that eventually there would be a hole in the top of the shoe from the rubbing. For travel, I wanted something a bit sturdier. As an everyday shoe, it would be great.
