adorable shoes but even the wide is too narrow and i normally wear a 7.5 so I got the 8 based off reviews. I'm now returning them to try an 8.5

Love these tennis, but wish they had just a little more cushioning on the bottom.

Great shoes! I can easily slide in my orthotics. Great for casual work setting.

I love the look of these shoes but have to use a full insert to make them really comfortable with good arch support and cushion.

I love these shoes so much that I wore them out. The star rating are based on my old pair and not the ones that were sent to me. SO, when I went to replace them I spoke with the customer service rep before I ordered. She convinced me to order the 8.5W when I had a 10M that I was replacing. WAY TOO SMALL!!! Does not run true to size no matter what anyone says!!! New colors and a bit of a different styling, but basically the same shoe.

These would make a great summer sneaker! They made me feel like I should be strolling the avenues in Paris. However, they felt about a half size too small which made the over-aggressive arch support uncomfortable.

I wanted to love these, the style is so cute. But no support compared to my Taos sandals and slipped in the heel.

As suggested by others I ordered up a half size and they were the perfect length. I was happy that I could replace the inserts with other inserts that fit me better. I also felt forefoot needed more padding.

I have a couple pairs of these now and didn't have black. They do have moderate arch support which is much better than having no support and I like the overall look of these.

I was surprised how comfortable these were for long walks. They have good arch support which I appreciate because of the discomfort I have with my ankles. I ordered the wide width but wish the toe bed was still a little more roomy. These are not meant to be worn with thick socks. Overall I like them...so far...and the best part is they’re cute!

I normally wear a 6/5 M. This time I ordered 7 Wide to have a larger toe box. That worked as far as having more room but the heel was loose and rubbed my foot. Unfortunately, I am returning. They are cute, have a good arch but a little stiff.

I originally ordered these in a half size up but they were too long and slipped around my heel quite a bit. I returned them and ordered them in my usual size, and they fit much better. The canvas is quite stiff, so they definitely need to be broken in. The first time I wore them, I had on low cut no-show socks and it was so uncomfortable and I ended up with blisters. The next time I wore them I had athletic socks on which are a little thicker and come up a bit higher and the shoes were much more comfy. Still stiff feeling, but no blisters. I think they'll be fine and relatively comfortable the more I break them in, and they are super cute.

I took the recommendation to order up a half size and they were perfect right out of the box - without socks. The footbed does not have very much cushion, but the contours fit my high arches perfectly. I have only worn then around the house, but I'm convinced I can make it a whole day teaching in comfort.

Love that these are not a running sneaker but do have good arch support and overall cushioning. The only thing is they are SO stiff. It's crazy that they're made of canvas and yet I feel like I need a shoe horn to get them on. I'm sure they'll loosen up with time though. Otherwise they check all the boxes--good width for my feet which are narrow but have a bunion, which makes the right fit hard to find.

Purchased the Taos Star in 8.5 Wide in plaid. Comfortable, true to size and nice contoured foot bed that works well with my foot. Cute, functional, and comfortable canvas shoe.

This is my third pair of Taos Star sneakers. I wore my first pair for a trip in Europe and have not looked back. They are cute and versatile, but leave me feet supported. I highly recommend.

I usually wear a 8.5 in athletic shoe so I have room for swelling at the end of a run. I normally wear a size 8 in other shoes. Thought I was going up a 1/2 size to accommodate this shoe. I need to exchange for a full size. The shoe is cute to knock around in so I do want a pair.

Love this shoe. It is stylish and fits. I normally wear a 9N, but I can usually get by with a medium width shoe if it has laces. This show run narrow, which for me is great.

So, sizing...I ordered a 7.5 which felt a little big but I know the 7 would be too small. I like to go sock-less with canvas sneakers but this may require a sock to fit more snug. Not a huge deal for me as I'll wear little sock-lettes. The material is solid but the shoe is not heavy and clunky. The arch support is important for my foot and this shoes provided decent support although I have not yet tested it out during, say, shopping at the mall. I will say the tongue on the right shoe rubs on my foot a little but the sock will take care of that. Again, I have not worn them beyond around the house so I'm being conservative in my rating.

The shoes fit well. They seem comfortable, although I've yet to wear them outdoors. Nice alternative to wearing athletic shoes around town.

I waffled and then ordered up a half size to 9 for someone with a wide toe box and high instep. These were just short enough and narrow enough to be uncomfortable. The outside edge of my foot was rubbing as the tip of my big toe. Also more arch support than I wanted. So while well made, they're going back.

These were comfortable with all the arch support I was looking for. They would be so cute with shorts. But I was looking for a white sneaker nice enough to wear with casual skirts or dresses, and this didn't cut it.

Runs very small. Will return for a full size larger. Otherwise, very cute, and I think they‘ll be comfortable once I have a pair that fits.
