other buyers advised going up 1/2 size, but this was 1/2 size too much for a good fit for me

This is a very attractive and well-made shoe, but the "W" isn't very wide at all. Too narrow for me, unfortunately had to return.

I’ve had other Taos shoes that 100% worked for me, but am still in limbo on these. My first 3 outings they felt great, but then on the 3rd, it rained, and after that the width is tight— tight enough that I got blisters on both little toes. I guess they shrank in the rain. They’re still ok for short walks, but not the longer ones I intended them for (like the first 4). Too bad, because they’re darling. I like wearing them because they go with everything for me except long walks.

I ordered 6.5 because that's normally my size; was too small; ordered 7 and it's perfect

I love Taos’ style. This is my second pair (the first is a bright apple red). This color is exactly what I was looking for and the canvas texture I also love. Taos shoes are a bit narrow, and despite breaking them in, they still seem a skosh tight. Otherwise a high quality shoe. Very sturdy and well-put together.

I love my Taos sandals, but these sneakers were too loose on my narrow heels. Very cute and comfortable, but too much slippage to keep them.

These were incredibly small. It's weird, because I have another pair similar to these (same brand, same size) and they are wonderful. Have great arch support and I'm able to wear no-show socks for a perfect fit. I am exchanging them for a larger size and hopefully they will work? I love the charcoal grey color - super cute.

Love how comfortable these shoes are. I did order a half size up otherwise they would have been to small.

The fit was fine although my toes kept hitting the top of the shoe. Love the material. There just was not enough cushioning for arthritic feet.

Cute sneaker and I so wanted to keep it - but runs too wide. Felt very comfortable, but it was slipping off my foot so I had to return it.

I love the look of the shoe! I was looking for a “cute” sneaker, and this fits the bill. I am also pleased with the insole which is basically like an orthotic. The only mild critique is that the insole is a little on the hard side, and the fit is just a tad tight in the footbed for my foot.

Cute shoe! Fast shipping. But I am returning them for several reasons. They are a bit heavy to my liking. I love a light show. It is hard to say whether this shoe was 'true to size' or not..... they felt a bit snug/stiff, (with a sock), & my heel slipped when I took a step. I knew that the slipping would lead to a blister when walking around. I really hoped these would be the perfect... but they aren''t.

I normally wear a 8 or 8 1/2. 8 1/2 not available so got a 9 as people said to go up a size. Felt snug but room around toes and heel slippped. I feel that if I went to 8 1/2 it would feel too small. I usually wear regular with.

This is a very attractive, comfortable shoe. Unfortunately, the toe box was a bit small for me on the vertical axis. I think if I had flatter toes, it may not have been an issue, but as it was, the tips of my big toes kept rubbing up against the canvas. Also, I ordered an 8.5, which was my usual, and my toes were almost nearly at the end, which added to the tight feeling.

Very cute - but too snug with socks. Sad to return them because they really are cute. I bought another pair of Taos that was the same size with a better (wider) width for me.

I ordered a half size bigger and normal width and they are a little big but not bad. The arch is awesome but not much cushion for the fore foot. Material is stiff. Glad i bought the shoe but might try to find some cushion to slip under the insole.

Like the style. I ordered a half size up and that was the right call. However, they’re just not that comfortable. The footbed is very hard and just walking around on carpet was uncomfortable. I guess I could replace the insoles but I didn’t love them that much.

I ordered 1/2 size up, fits perfectly. The arch support is very good, but the front soles could have used a bit more padding. Like many others, not sure I would walk around Disneyland all day in them, but great when you have short interludes where you can get off your feet!

The shoes look cute and are okay to wear. Nothing I would wear all day walking around, exploring the city though.

These run small. Order up 1/2 to a full size. Great arch support. They're cute, but they just weren't what I was looking for.

My second pair in this style, which I like a lot: simple, low-key, and (I hope) durable. The fit is comfortable even for my almost wide feet. I can't rate the arch support as I replaced the insole with the Superfeet orthotic soles recommended by my PT. The bottom sole is on the thin side and I don't expect that it will withstand too many long hikes, but for walking around town, these should be just right.

The shoes are totally comfortable when you put them on out of the box and do a little shuffling around, but as soon as I walked longer distances like from the car to a store, I noticed the back of the heal is really stiff and rubs. The shoes are awesome looking, everyone in my family commented on them and they feel great in the arch and foot bed. I thought at first they were going to be too tight, I wear an 8 and my feet touched the top, but I was hesitant to size a whole size up and be swimming. I have a narrow foot and these just fit like a glove. After a few days of wearing socks in them, they have stretched out and my toes are not crunched near the top at all. I am hoping by bending the backs and working on those I can soften them up a bit. They are really a nice style.

The fit and size of this shoe were great. The top comes alot closer to my ankle than I am used to, but other than that, they are great. They are comfortable and I get compliments whenever I wear them.
