I am very happy with this shoe, so far, the looks and the feel, but I haven't worn it outside yet. I usually wear a size 9.5 which I ordered, but with a short sock it was too snug and I was afraid my big toe would rub. So I re-ordered and got the size 10. It's a keeper and I can't wait to wear it. Thank you Zappos for letting me try both sizes simultaneously.

What a great shoe! After reading previous reviews I ordered up a half size. The shoes fit well without socks, or with just a thin anklet. The next pair I order (and I will order more!) will be a full size larger so I can wear them with a regular athletic sock. Super comfortable with excellent support. They will look great with capris, shorts or jeans.

Very comfortable. Walked all day in them. I ordered a size larger based on other reviews and they fit perfectly.

Finally sneakers with support that look great. I wish that I could get the white ones, too. Thanks, Zappos, for keeping grandma looking hip!

Based on reviews I ordered a half size larger than I typically wear. They're actually a bit too roomy, though comfortable. I like them enough to have come back to reorder them in 2 additional colors, a half size smaller. I have fairly substantial orthotics and they fit in these - super happy about that! I haven't worn them with the original insole, so I can't comment on the arch support.

While this shoe in wide fit my foot, there was absolutely no padding on the ball of my foot. I can't wear this shoe.

Is she really felt fine but slipped at the heel that I couldn't use this shoe in a smaller size. It just doesn't work on my foot although it is a nice product.

The fit is true to size. I think the width is fine for my narrow feet, so they might be too tight for wider ones. There's not much arch support and an insert might make them even tighter. But, I love Taos!!

I like the look and the arch support is substantial. I went up a 1/2 size and now I’m thinking I should have gone up a full size. They are difficult to put on as they are a bit tight but once on they are just a little tight. I’ve already worn them out so I’m stuck with them now.

Loved these shoes but they run really small. You definitely need to size up!

A little tight in the toe but great looking

Believe the suggestion to order up a 1/2 size for appropriate length. Sneaker is comfortable but does feel a bit wider than Medium - perhaps because of the 1/2 size increase from my normal size. Shoe feels well constructed with a firm footbed. Looks great with casual clothes and even a skirt - perfect for travel.

Meh I love the style, but that alone doesn’t mean I’ll keep a shoe no matter how great they look. The weird thing for me was how the stiff canvas rubbed in the top of my foot as I walked (the pressure from where it creases). Plus, very little padding under the ball of my foot. I debated for a few days whether or not to keep them and ultimately decided to return once I found another gray pair that were perfect (from Dr Scholls).

I bought Taos shoes before, and they were instantly comfy. With these, the insole is stiffer and bigger. I'm going to keep them in hopes that they soften over time but I really wish they made them like they used to.

The fit was perfectly fine ( ordered a 7 for my 6 1/2 med normal size as rec by the website ), worn with a very thin all cotton sock liner. The overall support and the arch support in particular is the very best I have come across. Taos has a special brand name for their insoles which are also impressive. But they are right difficult to get into…def need a shoe horn, and I would expect to be in them all day as they are not a kick-off, slip-on kind of style more suited to my lifestyle. Lastly I just couldn’t get completely happy with the round, child- like, round toe. I

Shoes are great, but laces are fragile.

They hurt - inside seams rub painfully

good fit, but did not feel like enough cushion in footbed for being on your feet all day and putting in miles/day.

I have a very wide left foot- this show didn't come close to being comfortable for my left foot, but it was decently comfy for my right (which is a normal wide. I was hoping this show would work, but I have to rewritten).

I so wanted them to work out because of the style and the good arch support. But the shoe is too narrow for my wide feet. Even the wide width shoe is too narrow. It didn’t seem any wider than the regular width pair I tried. Maybe if I went up in size they would work out better, because they seemed a little short as well.

My usual size was unavailable so ordered a half size up. Expected it to be roomy, but I feel like width was way to big—like W now has become M. Guess I need to look for N shoes.

Very cute shoes and feel very stable.

Wonderful looking shoe but just not comfortable for my feet. I have a couple pair of their sandals and they are so comfortable that I thought the sneakers might be too. Sadly they were not for me.

Cute shoes and the natural hemp color is a nice change away from pure white. I wish the sole were a little bit thicker. But they are a great summer sneak for when it’s too hot for leather shoes.
