I love these! They are super cute and comfy right out of the box. I'm a Converse girl and had never tried this brand, but I love it. I love that they have an arch support. I am now a Taos fan! Glad I took the advice of others and ordered a half size up; they do run small. I am a 7, but ordered 7 1/2 and they are perfect. As always, thank you Zappos for your amazing service!

Great shoe! I typically wear a 5.5 - 6.0 so ordered a 6.0. It was way too small. I returned them and ordered the 6.5 which is perfect. I can wear thin footies with them. It took one good 2.0 mile walk to break them in as they were a bit stiff-- no blisters though! I bought the Star in charcoal gray and like them so much that I have also just ordered the Star in blue wash canvas. They are a great walking shoe but also pair well with casual skirts/skorts or rolled up jeans. You can never go wrong ordering anything from Zappos because of the exceptional customer service!

Based on the majority of reviews, I ordered 1/2 size up and they were too big. Reordered my normal size 8-1/2 and they are perfect. I do have a bit of a wider foot and the width felt fine. Must say though, they are comfortable right out of the box. Will try the sandals next. These are perfect for an upcoming trip to Thailand, where I'm sure there will be a lot of walking.

Good looking and comfortable, quality shoes. I would say these run about a half size short in length, which is fine for me because I'm more of a 10 1/2 (ordered size 11) and most shoes don't come in that size. Otherwise, these are really nice sneakers. The arch support is good, cushioning excellent. Really comfortable.

Comfort beyond comfort. I don't believe I have ever put a shoe on right out of the box and have worn ALL day with no blisters, break in time or tightness. These are the best pair of shoes EVER. I went with the other reviews about going up a 1/2 size. I normally wear a size 8 and got the 8 1/2 and are perfect. The only thing I would say is if you have a wide foot, you may not like these. I tend to have a more narrow foot so they are great. Totally worth the money.

I did have to send back the size 6.5 for a 7. I normally wear a 6. I thought I would be swimming in a 7 but I was pleasantly surprised at how well a 7 fit. Because of your free shipping/free returns policy, I could easily do this. They are very cute shoes and quite stylish for a 63 year old lady! And they are comfy too with very good arch support.

Great sneakers! I wanted sneakers that weren't tennis shoes and not as casual as converse. These fit the style perfectly for running errands on weekends. Great color - I got the gray and it goes with everything. First day I wore them starting at 4:30am and ending my day at 5pm. Perfectly comfortable, stylish and I got compliments. My daughter loved them so much - she logged on and bought a pair on the spot. GO ZAPPO'S! They are on the shorter side so I can only wear them without socks or thin socks. I don't wear heavy socks so this worked for me.

So stylish. Wear with black or white pants or shorts. I am getting lots of compliments on my young style. (I am 58)

These shoes are super cute and comfortable with really good arch support! I'm challenged with finding shoes since a foot injury and having flat feet. So happy to find these! Wish Zappos had more colors available. Kinda look like converse (which I love, but can't wear) if you don't look to closely. I wear a size 7, and the 8 fits me perfectly.

I wear and 8.5-9 shoe. I ordered both and went with the size 9. I took a chance and wore these to a music festival without "breaking them in". After 11 hours my feet still felt great!! My daughter said I looked hip in my kicks...so nice to hear since I always have to wear orthotics and most shoes look too old for me. These were a win win!!

It's great to find a pair of shoes in this style that has arch support! Like a lot of other reviewers have said, these shoes ran small for me. I normally am between a 6 & 6.5 and ended up keeping the size 7s. Width was fine - just length.

Love this shoes but it is short! I am reordering it .5 size bigger. Great support and wider at the toe.

I tried several pair of sneakers -- many more expensive -- before settling on these. They are comfy and look good. Had to size up, though.

Cute and very comfortable. I have foot problems and I can wear them comfortably. I love Taos sandals and wanted to try one of their closed toe shoes and this was a good choice.

I love these! Great fit, color and comfort. These are an all day shoe. Others say they run small but I did not find that to be true.

These shoes have the best support of any shoe I've bought in the last 10 years. I don't even wear my orthotics with them. The color looks like charcoal in low light areas, in fact, I thought I had bought the wrong color when I opened the box. I really happy with my purchase. Based on other reviews, I bought a size 11. They're a little long. Half sizes would be a great option.

I love this brand. Quite comfortable and long lasting shoes in my experience, at least their sandals do. I expect the same of these shoes. I wear a 10 in open-toed sandals and sometimes need an 11 in closed toe shoes. I definitely needed the 11 here, which fits quite well. Good support, just enough toe room but not any extra- it seems these shoes are a bit more suited to narrow feet (mine are regular width) just keep that in mind.

I have hard-to-please feet. There are always issues even with shoes which felt comfortable for the first few hours; my feet always seem to find something to complain about later. This pair stayed on my feet for more than 8 hours continuously and remained comfortable even as I stayed on my feet almost the whole time. I forgot I was wearing them. My feet are 6 a 6.5 and on the wide size of M. I ordered a 6.5 and 7. The 6.5 fit better. I love my Taos. It looks so cute with shorts and jeans and casual dresses.

This is a good-looking and comfortable sneaker when you get the right size! I usually wear a 7.5(38) street shoe but read the reviews saying it ran small. I ordered both an 8 and an 8.5 just to be sure. The 8.5s were perfect. The difference of 1/2 size was really noticeable, especially in the insole arch support structure. Khaki color is good--not too light, not too dark. Good price too!

These are so comfortable! I ordered a size up and they are perfect! Excellent arch support. The linen look is perfect for summer. I've gotten lots of compliments.

really like these shoes -- very cute style, and they fit very well. I tried the Superega canvas shoes, and they were way too wide in the toe area. they bunched up and looked funny. the Taos shoes fit so much better and look very nice. Super comfortable, too. Highly recommend. Feel true to size in both length & width. Not overly wide or narrow, just right.

Love the looks of these! For a sneaker, it has a lot of support. Although I have several pairs of Taos, this is my first pair that are "closed". All my other pairs are sandals or open wedges. So these felt a little tighter than I am used to, but maybe it's because of the style.

Love these. Not as authentically cool as actual Converses, but WAY more wearable, comfortable. I'm a spot-on 7 1/2 and the 39s fit me perfectly. Cute!
