I usually wear a women's 8.5, but based on info from Zappos and reviews, I bought a 9. This was a good choice. The 9 fits perfectly. Slightly more arch support than my previous sneakers (Vans). They are comfortable for long walks and I haven't gotten any blisters. I like the style - they go with my mostly tomboyish wardrobe.

Adorable shoes and so comfortable. The arch support is fantastic for a flat shoe. Like all my tennis shoes I always order 1/2 size larger than I would in my dress shoes and these were a perfect fit. Much like Converse, they will require some breaking in, but I can tell once I've worn them a few times they are going to be my go-to shoe!! Love them.

This is my second pair of Taos Star shoes. I decided to buy the white ones and they look great with everything! And, they feel so good on. I can walk miles in these shoes. I ordered a 1/2 size larger than my shoe size and the fit is perfect. My feet are between a medium and wide width and they feel very good in the medium width. I'm trying to stop myself from ordering more colors!

Definitely wish I would have read reviews. Order them half size bigger!!

I wore these sneakers on my usual rounds the first day (dog walking, to work, 1 mile walk at lunch) and they did not rub anywhere. Since I need a Wide width, I was happy to find these.

Love this shoe! My orthotics fit perfectly and there is enough cushion and arch support to let me wear these comfortably all day long. With 2 bunions and a hammertoe, that is saying a lot! I have this shoe in 2 colors and am about to buy a third. Perfect for days when you want something that looks nicer than a sneaker.

I love this shoe.....BUT it does run small....very small. I prefer a full size larger. Fortunately- it doesn’t really look huge / so I do not mind. Plus- I think a light weight sock is needed. Perhaps you could just size up a half if you’re ok with the wierd no sock feel.

Bought these for vacation - no break in period required! I needed excellent arch support in a post surgical time (hips) and these super stylish shoes made it easy!

I really love the looks of this shoe but it is too big and my heel slips in it. So I have to return them.

High arch support, so if you dont need that these will be hard to adjust to. Definitely run small! I ordered half a size up and debated a full size.

Nice looking, good color selection. I really like this shoe for the support it gives my arch and heel. They are comfortable but could use more padding under ball of the foot. I can walk several miles in them with relative comfort. I have a high arch and it supports well. The shoe is narrow in the toe bed and short. So I'd advise a size up and width up from your usual size.

I have plantar fasciitis and was able to wear these shoes all around Greece for two weeks with no pain. I was worried about my feet holding up but these shoes made it all possible. Highly recommend them - they're stylish and comfortable.

These are super! They are comfortable to wear all day running errands. I work on my feet all day and these wear well. I added my own orthotics but they come with a good constructed liner. It has a nice arch for a flat shoe. I wish they came in other colors.

This is my second pair of the Taos Star shoe. They are stiff when you first get them but it doesn't take long to break them in. One thing to note, the shoe color (the blue denim looking ones) does fade with washing. This just adds to their overall look. However, I failed to remove the strings when I washed them and the strings turned orange so just beware. Shoe strings are inexpensive so I didn't sweat it. I really love them them and will definitely buy again.

I love these! I really like the look of Converses and Vans but they have terrible shock absorption and arch support. These offer both! I wear a size 8.5 normally and when I first ordered these they ran too small and had to re-order a size 9 which was perfect! I live in NY and walk EVERYWHERE so these were exactly what I was looking for. Also their super cute and go with everything. I want more colors, of course :)

The arch support in these shoes is incredible. I’ve honestly never had shoes that I felt “filled” up my arch space - these do. Super cute, light weight, comfy - love them!

I wear a womens 8.5 wide -- C, preferably D. Got these in 9W and they were heaven. Great arch support. I would totally buy these again. I'm 49, wear these on casual fridays with skinny jeans.

Cute shoe, bad design. Great insole, lots of arch support, but lacks cush in metatarsal area. The canvas is so hard you can hardly get the shoe on. Back they go!

I loved these shoes. Unfortunately, the wides fit more like a “c” than a “ d” and they were very short. The footbed was really comfortable, but was narrow, like there was added width to the upper but not the sole. My foot was able to spread out over the sole. If you only need a little extra room in the toe these would be fine. However, if you truly need a wide they just don’t work.

I am returning the shoes because the left shoe had an imperfection in the stitching in back which caused the edge to dig into the heel when walking. Will need to buy them in person to ensure proper fit.

I liked the shoes, good quality and attractive. However, they were too narrow in the toe box. Heel fit fine. This doesn’t come in a wide so I returned them.

My daughter was visiting me with these shoes and since we wear the same size, I was able to try them on before purchasing my own. They are incredibly comfortable, especially with the arch support. I normally wear a 7.5 - 8 and the 8 was just right, as was the width. They looked great with rolled jeans and good with a skirt. A must addition for travel!

After reading the reviews I ordered a half size larger and they are a perfect fit. I am so pleased with the excellent arch support which is almost impossible to find in a canvas shoe. The insole comes out which I like because I like to wear shoes without stockings and with these I can wash the insole. Have only had them two weeks but so far I am very pleased with their comfort.

These are now officially my favorite shoes. I purchased them in the fall of 2017 with the idea that they might work for our trip to Europe in the summer of 2018. I wore them off and on to get used to them before deciding they would indeed be great for that trip. We spent two weeks walking around London and Paris, and I wore these shoes every day. They were perfect. I have flat feet and a history of plantar fasciitis. In other shoes, I wear custom made orthotics. My feet were sore at the end of our long days (over 20,000 steps each day, to my usual 9,000), but not in real pain. My back and knees did well, too. I very much appreciated having cute shoes that didn't look like running sneakers but were equally as supportive. I will be purchasing more pairs in other colors in the future. Note: Do order a full size up! I am a size 9 in almost every shoes and wear a 10 in these.
