This is my third pair of shoes to order from Taos. I have been completely satisfied with all three and will order again next spring. I wear 5.5 and needed a 6. Zappo is wonderful about returns and exchanges!!!! Love my Taos canvas shoes

This is my second pair of this shoe, different color. I love these shoes, and at risk of being a dork, I’d get them in every color!

Love the shoes. Comfortable the first time I wore them. I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes give perfect support.

I read several reviews and followed through in going up a half size, so my normal 7.5 I purchased an 8. Glad I did as it fit great. I like the look, comfort and shopping Zappos. Great return policy too.

I put them on and they felt like slippers. Love them.

These shoes fit great without socks. I wanted them for work and need to wear socks but they would have been too tight. Had to return.

I purchased the blue with the blue soles and decided they were a little too blue to wear with blue jeans, so I am returning them. I plan on getting the black leather ones instead. I thought the canvas was a little too stiff as well. I have plantar fasciitis and think the arch support will be excellent.

I have wide feet, and the shoes fit very well. They are a little stiff, but should break in nicely. They are cute -- which is hard to find in a wide shoe. I plan to buy several more colors of this style.

Size up. Ordered two sizes. Sending back my usual size for a whole size larger. Amazing arch support. I made it all day with no issues on the first wear. I haven’t had a low profile sneaker in years. I will be back for more.

I ordered a 9.5 instead of my usual size 9 due to reviews by other customers, and they fit perfectly. I wore them right away, all day, without any problems.

I was somewhat worried about buying these shoes because of other reviews. So glad I did. I wear an 8.5 or 9 and ordered the 9. Fit is great, insoles are classic Taos, and in a wide width they are fine on my HUGE bunion.

Thanks to Zappos recommendation and reviews, I ordered a half size larger, and wider width. It was perfect. The arch support is so good, I don’t need my usual orthotics. Though the larger wider size made my feet look a little bigger than usual, I needed these for a trip so comfort was a priority.

This is my 4th pair of Taos Star sneakers. They're comfortable right out of the box, no breaking in, and the arch and metatarsal support are excellent. I like the color choices, get many complements on the colors and style. I live in a small beach town, casual dress is the norm and these shoes are great for our laid back lifestyle. I walk a lot and they're comfortable and don't aggravate my back condition which is pressure on my sciatic nerve. The insole is removable for an orthotic but the one that comes in the shoe is fine for me. They do run a half size small, so order up for a better fit. I'm normally a size 8 and 8 and 1/2 in Taos Star fit perfect.

This shoe exceeded my expectations. I have a narrow foot and I can tighten laces to my satisfaction. I have a pair of keens in a similar style but I find the arch support much better in these. I can also put my orthotics on these shoes but cannot in the keens due to shallow foot bed. I would definitely purchase these again and am already picking out the next color!

These are comfortable shoes. I wore them out of the box when I went to visit grandchildren. Wore them to the park, climbed play equipment, walked on sand, grass and rocks. Feet felt good the whole time. I’m a 62 year old grandmother with a hammertoe and bunions. Yea for Taos. I will check out their other shoes.

The fit and size were perfect. I ordered the wide because of a bunion and it feels terrific. The style was cute as wells as comfortable.

I originally ordered a size 7.5 which I ended up returning for a size 8. I am a pretty stable size 7.5 so I would say these run a bit small and to go a half size up. I had not read the reviews on the shoe because I had seen them locally and like this color, if I had read the Zappos reviews, I probably would have ordered the size 8 to start with. Great comfort and style. I actually wear them to work! They are a little nicer than your average tennis shoe.

These shoes are great! The arch support is wonderful! I'm on my feet for 12 hours a day at work. Since getting these shoes I have noticed that my feet are not as painful at the end of the day. I recommend these shoes and will probably continue buying them.

Zappi’s Recommended a half size larger for me. And reviews suggested the shoe ran narrow. So I listened to both and it’s perfect. Great arch support and cute. The tongue rides a bit high up the instep, but I don’t think it will be a problem.

Absolutely love these shoes. They look stylish and the arch support is fantastic. Probably not the best for long distance walking but perfect for casual office or weekend wear. I have feet on the narrow side of average and usually wear an 8.5 - 9. The sizing estimator suggested a 9.5, which fit me perfectly.

Taos Star sneakers are great! I own four+ pairs in various colors. The arch support is excellent and I can walk miles in comfort (even with a bunion!), and the styling is much better than an athletic sneaker. That said, I decided to send these back only because the charcoal color was too similar to the black pair I already own. I'll reorder a different color. Yea Zappos ...you can iterate until you get it perfect!

These shoes are so comfortable and so cute. I usually wear either an 8 or 8-1/2, and chose to order the 8-1/2 based on other reviews. They fit perfectly. Others commented that the heel was wide, yet my very narrow feet didn’t slip out of these at all. I highly recommend!
