I'm on my 5th pair already and I wear them as my "everyday" shoes. Gore Tex. Quick draw laces. Great sole. Look great. Please bring the forest green color back! They run a little on the narrow side. Highly recommend.

Ich liebe dem Schuh fr alle meine Outdoor Aktivitten. Egal ob wandern oder radeln, der Schuh gibt mir immer den perfekten Halt und schtzt mich vor Steinschlgen und Wasser. Ein Schuh den jeder im Regal haben muss. Klare Empfehlung.

Wenn es um einen Wanderschuh geht, ist der 3D GTX meine erste Wahl. Ich habe in den letzten 10 Jahren 6 Paar gehabt, aktuell sind noch 2 Paar in meinem Besitz. Durch das Schn?system ist er sehr bequem. Dank Gore-Tex bleiben die F??e sehr lange trocken. Da braucht es schon einiges an Wasser bis die F??e nass sind. Mit den richtigen Socken bleiben die F??e auch bei Winterwanderungen im Schnee lange warm. Bei hohen Temperaturen im Sommer bevorzuge ich die Version ohne Gore-Tex. Die Sohle ist sehr stabil, allerdings nicht sehr flexibel. Die Gummimischung ist relativ weich und bietet so auch auf nassen Steinen Halt. Der Sto?schutz hat sich schon einige Male bezahlt gemacht, meist ungewollt. Zum Wandern, egal auf welchem Untergrund ist er sehr gut geeignet. Als Alltagssschuh mit viel Asphalt ist er nur bedingt zu empfehlen, da die Sohle dann relativ schnell abgenutzt ist.

Habe den GTX dreifach, zweimal zum Laufen und einen einfach bei Schlechtwetter -wobei er f?r die Stadt eigentlich zu schade ist. Die Sohle ist unglaublich robust und gibt super halt auf schmierigen Wegen.

I have had several (probably more) pairs of these over the years. Love them. It is true they do not last long--maybe a year of frequent wearing--especially if you use on pavement (as I do). But they are so comfortable and excellent off road. But please, please, please bring back the mid. My last pair of the mid is close to the end of its life. BTW I had some guy stop me in the airport the other day and to tell me how much he loved his XA PRO 3D GTX mid--how weird is that?

Habe mich extra fr dieses Model entschieden fr den Herbst und trage Sie als Freizeitschuh mit Einlagen. Es funktioniert wunderbar und ich werde zuknftig wohl komplett auf Salomon umsteigen. Das Schnrsystem gefllt mir auch super und hlt. Bin froh die Schuhe ausprobiert zu haben und nicht wie immer zu bestellen wo ich doch immer unzufriedener wrde.

I bought these shoes in olive in summer 2015. With these I have attacked one Colorado 14'er after another after another, finishing 14'er number twenty-two yesterday. I think I have walked 850 miles on these shoes. I ran, scrambled, and hiked three mountains in the last three days, 33 miles total, and the shoes operate like when I first got them. The tread is not compromised even a bit. I wear these with Salomon low-gaiters (LG) to prevent scree from entering. A few days ago I reapplied a water-proofing solution to the Gore-Tex to reestablish its water beading ability. I have never owned shoes that have withstood four years of this kind of punishment. For the last two years I mount micro-spikes for winter icy hiking I feel confident doing that in these though they are not designed for the season. Great shoes. I will buy this pair again though I also will look at the hiker version, the QUEST 4D 3 GTX, because Salomon low-gaiters (LG) are not as durable as the XA PRO 3D GTX and scree aggravates me.
