The size was fine but even with the medium width the toe area was too narrow and constricting for the bunion on my left foot. It's a beautiful shoe but just didn't work out for my 75-year old feet. I kept the other pair I ordered...Rieker.

I bought the patent leather, and the shoe felt so hard. When I walked, my heal kept slipping out. It was not a flexible shoe. I returned.

Toe box too tight for me, had to return. Otherwise, seemed like a really nice shoe.

I'm feeling very in the fence about these. They technically seem to fit well on width, and they stay on. The total motion feature does seem to make a significant difference in my stride. I am happy they have narrows because this fit seem to be getting harder and harder to find. I just really wish they made this shoe almost exactly the same but with a less pointy toe. My outside toes are shaped in a way that makes such a sharp point really hard to wear. I might be able to make these work, but it isn't quite the miracle shoe I was hoping for.

This is a very good looking shoe; unfortunately, it is quite uncomfortable--just walking in my carpeted hallway. I really wanted to keep them--but it just wasn't meant to be. The inner sole LOOKS as though the shoe would be comfortable, but it isn't.

I can't really say how comfortable these shoes were because they were just too small. I almost always wear an 8.5 M, which is what I ordered. I could squeeze my foot in, but the shoes hurt. They were very tight and even if they stretched, they would still be too small. They are going back, and I am ordering some other styles. These shoes were an average pump, looked to be well made, and the leather was nice, but they were too pointy for me.

I tried several sizes in this shoe and all were true to size, etc., however, I realized that there is no way I can put my duck shaped foot in a pointed toe shoe and wear them for over 25 steps it took for me to realize that. So sorry they have to go back because the color was perfect! I will be so glad when true rounded toe shoes come back in style.

I wanted to like them but they were waaay to small

I chose these shoes to wear in our wedding and truly wanted to love them. I actually ordered three pairs to get the right size and Zappos was really helpful with shipping them quickly and letting me return them. The shoes make my toes numb if I wear them for more than a few minutes so I can't recommend them. Wearing heels saved having to alter my wedding dress, but I wish I had found a more comfortable pair.

I ordered a 10N, and it was too short. Felt comfortable otherwise.

I wore these shoes for our wedding day two years ago and loved everything about th except that they make my toes numb. I wouldn't recommend them based on this fact, though they are a beautiful, simple heel.

Five stars for the design and comfort of the shoes, but thankfully Zappos has a great return policy because I had to order at least 3 different sizes before finding one that fit. I'm normally a size 9 M, but eventually ended up with 9.5 W. Definitely size up with these shoes, and be prepared to order a couple of different options at once.

I ordered a 9W which ended up being way too big all around. Too bad - it's a nice classic pump.

As others have mentioned, shoes arrived with leather already a little scuffed/damaged. I am not sure that bothers me b/c I will likely scuff as soon as I wear them. I am on the fence if I am going to keep b/c the cut may fall in just the wrong place on inside edge along moderate bunions. I may try to wear in house to decide if comfortable or not.

Bought a size 9w, sizing up from my usual 8w-8.5w based on other reviews but the shoe was WAY too long. It runs true to size so recommend getting your usual size and maybe on the smaller end if you are in between sizes.

The style was really cute. My foot slipped forward making the shoe a half size too big. The area near the toes was not nearly wide enough. I ordered 3 pairs of this shoe: black, taupe, and patent black. The patent was even more narrow than the others. I am so disappointed. The shoe is really cute but it just isn't wide enough.

I really wanted to like this shoe, because the heel is the perfect height for walking, and the length and width are true to size. The color works with all of my navy and grey suits, too. The problem which makes this shoe virtually unwearable (for me) is the padding stitched in near the ball of the foot. At first, it is squishy and comfortable. But if I wear the shoes and have to walk AT ALL, the stitching and edge of the padded part cause horrible blisters to form on my feet, whether I wear trouser socks, liners or nothing. I can't recommend the shoes because of that. The Vionic Josie shoe ended up being a similar style that is significantly more comfortable for me.

I really wanted to love this shoe, but the toe box was very narrow and you could see the outline of my squished toes through the shoe!! The cushioning is fair, the heel comfortable, the pointed toe trendy, but the shoe tapers to the point too soon for my comfort.

Other reviewers said to order 1/2 size down because the shoe runs big, so I did get a 1/2 size smaller than my regular fit. Grrrr! This shoe would probably have fit me had I ordered my regular size, but now it's going back.

Pointy toe, so it really pinched. 10W is the largest size in wide; wish they had 10.5 W because I needed just a bit more room in the toe. I wanted to keep these, because they looked SO NICE on my foot, with a low heel but still attractive. However, they are so tight in the toe box... Please, Rockport, make wide widths, and even extra wide widths in larger sizes. This shoe had so much potential but the sizing is too painful to keep them. I loved everything else about this shoe, except the lack of toe box comfort.

The info on the shoe said it ran large. I ordered a half size down, as suggested - and the shoes were a half size too small.

The non shiny ones were terrible—they came scuffed. The taupe color is not right for my skin color and they looked pink not brown. I have light brown skin. Get the shiny ones. 8.5w fits me better than 8.5 medium and I normally get a 9.

Beautiful shoe. I purchased a 7W but they were way too big, so I then bought the 6 1/2W. However, the toe box was too small for my "duck" feet in both shoes. Also, my narrow heels slipped out of the 6 1/2W. The shoe was highly recommended by my podiatrist, and it comes with a high quality padded sole. My custom orthodox was unnecessary, and it made my heel slip out of the shoes even more. I am keeping the shoe, but having the toe box stretched professionally in the hope that this will make the shoe comfortable. If that works, I'll also put heel pads on the shoes.
