I bought these for a fancy dinner in NYC. I wanted something dressy, but plain and comfortable because we have to walk a bit and stand around. Rockports are normally comfy for me. But not these. They were too pointy in the toe and felt smaller than my normal size. I do like the color and soft suede of the shoe, however. Very stylish if your feet are on the smaller side of your size.

This really just wasn’t what I was looking for. I found the colour to be darker than a nude, the toe not as pointy as I wanted, and the height not quite tall enough. I ordered the shoe in a wide width, and it wasn’t as wide as I needed. That being said, I didn’t see anything wrong with the quality of the shoe, it just wasn’t right for me.

Darn it, I've been looking for this shoe in taupe forever and here it was. I ordered a half size lower than usual as suggested and it squished my toes--but not just in length, in depth. Also looked scuffed, just out of the box, telling me that they are too fragile for my normal activities. Sadly returning. Great looking pump!

I really wanted to like these and tried three pairs of them -- first adjusting for size, then color, and now I'm sending the third pair back even though it fits and is a good color, because it's the second pair in a row that looked like someone wore it for a year before returning. One pair, OK, I can just assume someone didn't check a return carefully. But two in a row looking shabby tells me that either these shoes are really low quality and scuff way too easily, or they're "supposed to" look like that because someone at Rockport decided that pre-scuffed pumps are the new pre-torn jeans. And... nope. Love the SUPER cushy soles, the fit was great, the color is a good neutral, but I just can't handle the scuffing. Even if I sent these back and got a pristine pair I'd be terrified they too would scuff if I sneezed. Not acceptable if i'm dropping over a hundred bucks!

These came in a plain brown box with no stuffing inside the shoes and the shoes were scuffed. It looked like someone had worn these before returning. I also wonder about how well the black color on the leather would wear since there were a lot of areas with very obvious fading - by the seam at the back of the heel, etc. I usually wear a 7.5 Medium width, but my foot tends to be slightly wide. I did order my normal size and, because of the pointed toe, my toes were very cramped. The cushioning seems very comfortable, but because of the tight toe box and poor leather quality, I will return.

I have a narrow foot with an extra narrow heel. Sadly, my foot slips out when I walk. No bueno. I'm returning for a 1/2 size smaller. Fingers crossed.

Was not as comfortable as the Black ones.

I like the look of this shoe, very stylish and the right heel hight, not too short not too tall, but the narrow width was so wide, I thought I ordered the wrong size. Double checked the inside of the shoe and it was labeled correctly. Bummer these didn’t fit my narrow feet.

Arrived scuffed (another reviewer posted pictures that look like what I received), and not as wide as hoped. Returning. Nice looking shoe though and seems like it could have been a very comfortable pair of heels for a different foot

Really like comfort, color and style of this shoe. Looks very professional. Unfortunately, I am returning it as leather on heels and sides of shoe is scuffed or worn off. Very disappointed that this shoe would be sent from this reputable of a brand and at this expensive of a price point. Thanks to Zappos awesome return policy, i am ordering another pair and will returned the damaged pair.

As is usually the case with Rockports, these are not truly "Narrow"...

Very good looking shoe! Sadly the toe was just too pointy. I got the wide and my bunion was fine, but then my toes squashed at the sides. I would have tried the next size up but it was our of stock.

too tight

These shoes were very comfortable and looked nice on my feet. However, I returned them for two reasons. Although they were true to size, I ordered in W width and although they fit well in the toe box, they were too wide and heel. Also, the black leather scuffs very easily (already pretty scuffed straight out of the box) and would be difficult to keep looking nice - consider ordering in a different finish.

Loved the sole and cushioning. I did find it too tight, which usually isn't an issue for me. I normally wear an 11 in heels and 10 in everything else. Based on reviews I ordered a 10.5, the length was fine but a little too narrow by my toes which was a first. Very sad to have sent them back, very attractive work shoe.

Well, the site says to order a half size down from your regular size, so I did. I usually wear an 8, so I ordered the 7 1/2. It was way too tight, but I needed the shoes asap. Now that I have worn them, I can't return them, so I will donate them to United Way, and order a size 8. My husband tells me that I will be happier with the correct size, and I will make someone else happy with getting a pair of shoes that were only worn for a couple of hours. Win win.

I have difficult to fit, very wide feet, but previously had success with the Rockport Seven to 7 pump. I ordered this in Warm Taupe leather which was not available in the other style. I sized down like I did for the Seven to 7 because the fit is the same, about a half size large. The cushioning insole feels great, though I suspect it will get smelly and will require deodorizer. Two complaints: the color is VERY warm, almost a light mauve, and it is not evenly applied on the leather (there were a few spots of lighter color around the heels and edges of the sole, like scuffs but they were not scuffed). Keeping them anyway because they're the best I've found for what I need.

I wanted to like these because they're a good height and look nice. The interior is really cushiony. That being said, I have bunions and the toe was just too narrow. Maybe they would loosen up but after obe day of wear, I have to return them.

This has been the toughest shoe to fit. I followed some of the advice here and sized down (from a 9.5 to a 9m). That was way too small. I tried my normal size and medium width and that didn't seem right either, but I hung onto them. Then I ordered a 10 M and, while it was tight in the toebox, the rest of the shoe seems too big! I may try a 9.5 W and then I'm giving up. FWIW, these are the taupe patent.

This shoe runs smallthrough the toes. I am returning it not only because of the fit, but also because there are scuff marks all over the heels

meh - fits the bill for a basic comfort black pump with a lower heel. The style is exactly what I was looking for but the upper feels cheap. It scuffs easily and is just not the soft leather that I expected at this price point and brand.

I ordered the Kalila in a 6.5 wide. They fit in length but were too tight. I'm returning them and getting a width wider if it is available. They are cute.

These pinched my toes like crazy. Couldn't keep them.

Usually wear an 8, am always happy if the toebox is wider so at first I thought this shoe might do. I think I'd have to go up to a 9 to get this to fit so that my toes didn't feel jammed. The heel fits nicely, and the width is great, but it seems short. There isn't a lot of give. I was hopeful that with a leather shoe, some stretch would help. The heel is a very nice height, though I should have worn it around the house for hours, I guess, so that I'd have noticed the problem with the length. The black is not quite dark enough. My black stockings look overly black next to the leather.
