Very much enjoy this shoe. it's not quite as plush as I thought it might be, but very comfortable for working long hours on your feet. I have wide feet and I got the 4E, and it feels great. I would definitely buy again.

Very nice fit and comfort. The only complaint I have is they could step up the style a notch.

I've been in the hospitality industry for 15 years, and these New Balance shoes are the most comfortable non-slip shoes ive ever owned. Initially, I went on the website to purchase an all black sneaker, but luckily stumbled across this pair. My feet and back haven't felt this good in years.

I have been wearing these shoes for 20 months and I have been very pleased with them. I am a server at a restaurant and they work wel in that setting. They are easy to clean and my feet stay dry even when something is spilled on them. I haven't splipped in these shoes. They are comfortable and durable. I use the diabetic shoe inserts (even though I'm not diabetic), which I bought at the New Balance store. The only problem I have is there is a small part of the outsole wall the is starting to separate from the shoe. My sister wore the same pit New Balance slip resistant shoes for 4 years, and loved them so much, she got a pair of the 626 to replace them after they wore out. Both of us recommend these shoes to anyone who needs a good work shoe

Have possessed these about a month and the first pair I ordered on line ran small and short. The second pair was a perfect fit. I do considerable walking and found these to flexible, lite, yet durable. Holding up well for my maintenance position

Very comfortable. I have back and knee problems so I also use the pressure relief insoles. They make a world of difference. My last pair of the 626 slip resistant shoes held up 9 months with me working 5 days a week. I wish they would make these in a velcro strap style. Shipped and arrived quickly.

I work in retail and have to wear black shoes. These are great, holding up well and good cushion in heel and ball of foot. I added insoles for runners so for extra support. Good shoes, will buy again.

I am back to the NB 626 work shoe. It's responsive and can take the punishment of long hours on your feet. The bonus is that I can use my own ortgotics in them.

This is my second pair 626 they fit get but if you are on your feet all day you will need to replace insoles. The insoles that come with shoes are hard, thin and no arch support.

Last July, I needed a new pair of sneakers to wear to work with some cord pants and sport shirt. My usual NB 12 ExLarge was too small in every pair I tried on at the NB Store. The 626 in 13 Wide seems to fit the bill but they were a compromise for me. They look great and are pretty comfy for being on my feet most of the work day. I bought the NB sole inserts for more arch support which helped a lot. Still, I had gone intothe store for another pair of 623's but they were out of stock. I just ordered another pair of 623's in my usuall size. Hopefully, they will fit as great as my first pair of 623's. As for the 626, great shoe; well-built, and office-appropriate. But, they do fit slightly larger than I expected. Yet, comfortable enough to keep. Probably a great long-distance driving sneaker for comfort.

These work shoes are listed as cushioning and that is most definitely the case. The only complaint is that they are tight in the toe area. I originally wore them with compression socks only but when I added a pair of crew socks the feel was awesome, truly the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned.

The shoe I just purchased is great! But I had to buy it because the sole of the previous NB shoe came loose after only a year and a half. I have been buying NB shoes for about 30 years and this has never happened before.

Solid shoe but comfort for daily wear on cement is about a C+ grade.

I asked for 4E, but the shoe still fits like a normal non 4E shoe.

I think that the width is not what it seems. I wanted extra wide. The shoes are tight.

My husband is used to a different style New Balance for both work and play. He felt the insoles for this style were too hard, which made them uncomfortable. So, they were returned. They were smart looking though.

You are no longer stocking the width I need in the size I wear so I have been trying to find something that will work in this shoe but not having much luck. Otherwise it's been a good shoe for me but if I can't get it it's a moot issue.

I'm a school custodian on my feet 8 hours a day, walk between 14,000 to 20,000 steps every day. These shoes are comfortable and really like the non slip sole. Realize these are manufactured leather not real cowhide so their are pluses and minuses to that, The shoes are very easy to wipe clean and very durable But the "leather" will not stretch at all so if you have any bone spurs or bunions these she's may not work for you. The padding on the tongue is very thin all my other New Balance athletic shoes have much thicker padding. New Balance doesn't offer any work shoe in narrow sizes. Also after 1 year the sole is starting to separate from the upper. Other than that the shoes have worn well. I found another manufacture that offers work shoes in narrow sizes and will give them a try. However will continue to go to New Balance for the athletic shoes that they offer in narrow sizes.

I needed some shoes for walking all day, I'm a mail carrier for the post office, and these are only comfortable for about the first 2 miles or so. After that they start to hurt and by the end of the day they're a nightmare.

I wanted them for work. They feel good but the toe on the right front shoe is coming loose like it wasn't glued down properly.
