I've gone through 3 pairs of the 626 industrial shoes and have been impressed with their fit and slip resistant soles. great shoes.

This is my second review, because this is my second pair. I am an overweight food server with bad feet, back, and knees. Before I bought these shoes I remember falling, sliding, feet pain, and back and knee pain. A year ago I discovered these shoes through my podiatrist. I have since forgotten all that pain. These shoes are the corrected extension of your foot. I can literally jog thru a puddle of spilled oil on a slick top floor and when my feet land it's as if they are locked down to that spot without an inch of slip. I've never owned better slip resistant orthotic shoes in my life. I will continue to purchase these shoes every year until they come out with a new version and or I can't get the 626v2's anymore. I suggest these shoes to every food server out there.

The shoes ordered were for my son. He needed more foot support at his job where he stands all day. It worked! The shoes are just what he needed!

My son is 6'6 and over 200pounds. He is on his feet all day. He wears a size 18 extra wide. This shoe provides not only the comfort he needs for his size, but also the support.

626's have always rocked and this new skid resistant style is no exception! Awesome fit.

These shoes are great for work. Not a great selection of slip resistant shoes out there, but NB is my favorite go to.

I didn't want to love these shoes, but I do. I am a high school teacher, and spend must of my day standing. A little over two years ago I was hit by a car and broke my spine in two places... I'm recovered and back to work and needed a pair of shoes that provided cushioning and support and stability all day. These shoes were very highly reviewed by workers online, so I decided to give them a try. I must say, they are functionally exactly what I was looking for in a shoe, and very comfortable..... BUT, oh man, are they ever ugly. They are maybe the ugliest looking shoes I've ever owned. I wish NB would make a version of these with the same sole but an upper that looked smooth, like an Oxford shoe, with more subtle branding. They essentially wear like super-comfortable lowtop boots, I wish their aesthetic more closely reflected that and less like old man sneakers.... Maybe v3 can offer a slicker, more modern look?

Retired a few months ago. Got a part-time job parking cars at a local dealership. There was a lot of walking on concrete involved. I have always had trouble getting shoes that fit. My feet are very wide. I used NB shoes years ago but for whatever reason, I moved away from them. After a few weeks of walking on concrete with different shoes I had (golf, running) I started having issues with my hips and my bad right knee. I knew if I went to the doctor, the first thing he would want to know was what kind of shoes did I wear. I searched the NB website and found the 626. I need slip-resistance, as the painted concrete gets pretty slick when wet. I pop over to the NB store (which is a few miles away) and tried the 626 x-wide. I wore them around the house a day or two (you can't take them back if they are scuffed) and then tried them at work. WHAT A DIFFERENCE THEY MADE! My feet don't hurt. Nor do my knees or hips. I can wear them all day. The biggest thing is that they are wide enough to keep my feet from cramping after a few hours. I can't say enough about the decision to go back to NB and try these shoes. I liked them so well I just ordered a pair of x-wide golf shoes (I like to walk and carry). Only about $65.00 on sale. No body is gonna match that price on a golf shoe. And if it fits like the 626.......!

In all my 20+ years in restaurants on slippery floors I've never owned a more stable, comfortable, or more slip resistant shoe. I love these shoes so much I wear them on my days off. The soles are literal suction cups to any flat surface that do not budge in the presence of oil, water, or anything else that may spill in the middle of a rush. My feet have not hurt since I received these shoes, and my foot pain was a major issue prior to finding these shoes. They're the best work/ tennis shoe I've ever owned and are more than likely the only shoes I will continue to purchase. They look great too, and after 6 months of wearing them seven days a week they are showing little wear and tear. I'm really impressed. Not badly priced for the quality of shoe these are. I wanted to wait a few months to leave an honest review and here you have it. Worth every penny. Quick shipping as well. Five stars across the board.

A mailman whose feet has changed again. These will become my new dress shoes. Once again my feet lay down in my shoes. I will purchase again.
