About to reorder another pair! My son is a chef and is on his feet 14 to 15 hours a day, 6 days a week, sometimes even 7 during the busy season and he has told me to reorder him another pair because they fit great, are comfortable to wear for his long hours, and are slip resistant, which are difficult to find these days in black and in a comfortable, good looking shoe. My whole family wears New Balance shoes, like dealing with a US company, and from my diabetic shoes, to finding a velcro strap sneaker, in a wide, is just another nightmare that I can avoid.

I work at a national supermarket chain and the Slip-Resistant 626x2 black shoes truly work to keep you safe from slipping, plus they are very comfortable which is important from being on your feet all day.

I wish I could submit a photo of my 3 yr old New Balance vs my 8 month old Sketchers. My New Balance are still in working condition whereas the Sketchers soles have separated after a short period of fairly easy use. Comparitevly, in the same 3 year period, I would have gone through 4 pair of Sketchers in the service my New Balance have provided. Further, I brought the Sketchers back to the place of purchase for some customer satisfaction and they would do nothing for me. Their poor quality products and lack of support compels me to never buy anything from Sketchers ever again.

My husband walks on concrete floors all day at work. These are the only shoes he has found that works well.

These work great. I do 8000 steps at work, and they perform perfect.

My now son in law has lymphedema, and his legs/feet retain water and are very swollen. We tried finding black shoes for his wedding day wide enough to fit, and finally struck gold with this pair. 2nd day shipping got them here right on time - THANK YOU!!!

I own nothing but New Balance shoes, always a perfect fit and long wearing.

I work in a warehouse where I stand and walk on concrete at least 10 hours a day. I often climbing up and down stairs also. The New Balance 626v2 provides great comfort, support and stability. I have recommended the shoe to several of my coworkers. These will continue to be my daily work shoe.

There are many "black" athletic/walking shoes but there are few, if any, that are ALL black, to comply with work-related dress codes. This one does! It is very comfortable and has a well-cushioned sole. I will purchase this item again when the time comes. Please, don't change the style or the number!

Nice shoes! I wear them to work feet feel great even after a 10 hour long shift..on my feet for all 10 hours..

Good comfort to work in and are slip resistant and they do not leave black marks on surfaces.

Very well made, nice looking, fit as expected, comfortable, good support. Thank you NB for making WIDE shoes !!! I have EE+ wide feet and, from my experience, no one else except NB provides shoes like these that are wide enough. I also have high arches which is probably why the shoelaces that came with the shoes are not long enough. I bought longer replacements but the color is not an exact match. No big deal but it would be nice if NB would offer longer shoelaces in matching colors. It would also be helpful to provide an explanation of how to properly use the double eyelets at the top of the shoes.

I bought it for working. It is perfect for me, comfortable, comfortable, comfortable. I definitely will set it as my regular working shoes, just hope it can be available when I want to buy it in the future. Thanks a lot

I have been wearing the 626 for several year's the first 626v1 and now the 626v2. I work long hours all day while on my feet and being someone with a size 13 shoe it's difficult to find the comfort and stability that I need and the 626v2 is the most perfect fit of work shoes that I have ever owned. If you are in the hospitality field and work in a Hospital kitchen like I do I would recommend these shoes to everyone.

I've been buying these shoes for going on 4 years and hope they never change them. They are comfortable and durable. I have high arches and these are perfect. And the laces stay tied all day long!
