I love the look of these shoes but the foot was way narrower than I expected. They were excruciatingly painful after a few hours of wearing them my first time. I loved the look of these boots that I wasn't ready to give up yet. I ended up buying a shoe stretcher to stretch out the width of the shoe. Overall, be prepared that the medium width is more like a narrow.

I’m not sure why these were more narrow than the usual Born-so disappointing...returning.

I actually received Born Cross instead of Syd. I'm sure it was an accident. I tried it anyway but I'm not really into the tassles so I'm returning them. I'm sure there's someone out there opening some Syds instead of their Crosses.

Cute, the top by your calf I thought would be lose by the look but it's not. However stilla perfectly nice boot.

They look cute but the suede finish looks a little cheap. They arrived looking spotty. I do like the inner plaid print and the boot looks cute otherwise. There isn't much room in the vamp, a little too much pressure on my big toe joint from the top of the shoe. My search for the perfect ankle boot continues!

The boots are super cute and exactly what I expected, and look like they would be comfortable to walk in, but I have to return them because one of them feels just a bit too snug across the widest part of my foot. And such a shame they don't have wide sizes! Bummer.

These cute boots were a near miss for me. I like the style and they were comfortable enough while walking around the house. But I had a sneaking suspicion that for me, they wouldn't be great for walking more than a block or two. I'm looking for absolute comfort, and for my picky feet and quirky style, they were not The Ones.

Such a beautiful and casual boot. Grey can be iffy especially in suede. The color was a dark grey and has a lot of texture in it. Exactly what I was looking for. The toe bed was a little snug, but I am thinking that the suede will stretch a bit as I wear them. Love the Born brand-really good value. Great purchase!

These are cute and if the size is right, they should be comfortable. My usual 8.5 size felt way too tight so I returned these. Specifically, the width felt too tight, so if your foot runs on the wider side I recommend sizing up half a size. Otherwise, it seems sturdy and well built and versatile.

A little tight in the toe box, but not enough to return them

These boots are a little more narrow than any of the other 5 pairs of born boots and booties I already have. They have great support though just like the rest of them. All and all a great shoe

Toe area is too narrow. I love the boot though but have to return. I have other Born boots and the toe is more rounded and leather softer. This one is gorgeous color and great style but way too narrow. So sad.

I really liked these boots-the comfort, the style, the tie on the side, but I wasn't crazy about the look of the black boots with the shiny look of the toe and the rest of the boot is distressed. I hesitantly sent them back, looking for a boot with a more uniform look.

I like the round toe, plenty of room for the toes but the boot was difficult to get on. Maybe it would loosen up with wear, but I didn't feel like dealing with it. Returned.

Although these boots look very nice and are very well made, I had to return them. They just did not work for my small-boned frame. The shaft of the boot was the problem, as the fit was too sloppy, which throws off your natural gait, which is not okay for me. I could say I have narrow ankles and small calf circumference, but truly, I don't for my overall frame. The manufacturers of boots in the mid-price range just aren't marketing to smaller boned women! I am 5'4', 105 pounds, muscular legs (I am a hiker, though these boots were for wearing to town, not on any trails!). I have seen boots that come in "wide-calf," why not "narrow ankle and calf?"

These are super cute but unfortunately a bit narrow for me through the arch. I will have to return them.

These boots were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I walked for 2 days in them without a problem. Would totally buy again!

I read the reviews on this boot before purchase because I have a bunion and it is hard to find good fitting shoes. One review specifically said this shoe had a wide enough toe box for a bunion. Sadly that was not the case for me. The boot was snug and immediately hurt with my first steps. I do really like the way it looks - true to picture - in terms of the distressed leather.

These look and feel larger than they are. I should have gone a half size smaller. Other than that, the leather is nice and boots are cute. They are pretty comfortable for all day wear.

Sizing was expected. Returned these because I realized that they look very much like a taller pair of Born boots I have, and I decided I wanted a more different style. Also, I don't know what to make of the rough leather finish; I'm not sure how well that would wear.

what is with the heel sliding up when walk? The shoe isn't small, but the heel does not stay in place.

I LOVE BORN boots, however this pair slipped off my heels - Felt 1/2 size or more too large. Also, they had a funny little bubble of fabric on the inner front side of each boot which kind of made them look wider than they should have.

Shoebox was too snug for my liking, and I ordered a half size larger than normal. Color had more violet tone as well, which I didn't like. Exchanging for a different style.
