Perfect fit. I have several pairs of born boots and they hold up great and are comfortable. Wore them all over spain for several weeks with no problem. They are distressed looking which is good because they dont really show scuffs, cute style. Love them.

Really like these boots! I usually wear a size 9 in Born shoes, but had to return the 9 and get a 9.5. They fit great now! Just a couple of days of wearing them and they are almost broken in.

The boots are beautiful; however, they are so narrow and tight that I could barely get them on. This is the second pair of Born boots I have had to return because of width. I am a size 9.5 with wide-ish feet.

I really like these boots but think I need a 1/2 size larger.

LOVE these! Just like my other BORN purchases Syd was perfect. Great construction with solid materials and comfortable heights in heels for walking all day. These will be going with me to Germany and Italy on business and I have no fears of tons of walking and cobblestone streets! I've worn my Borns several times to Europe and they've always been perfect!

I could not LOVE these boots more!! Perfect right out of the box. They arrived today just as I was getting ready to head out the door but of course I couldn't wait to try them on. They looked & felt so great I just walked right out the door with them on. Brunch and shopping for many hours and my feet feel amazing on day 1 of wear. I have many pairs of Born boots and as with all the others a half size down from my usual size fits me like a glove - I'm normally a 7 in closed toe shoes and with Born boots I'm always a 6.5. These boots will go with everything. I got them in black and they're like a toned down, more polished version of a motorcycle boot. I wore them today with torn up boyfriend jeans, t-shirt and faux fur jacket and look forward to wearing them with skirts & dresses with or without tights, skinny jeans...everything! So happy with this purchase!

Born is a great brand and lasts forever. Comfortable boot; a smudge narrow, but know it will stretch with the suede. Sprayed with waterproof to keep that white salt line from ruining my boots and to wear in the winter without getting a soaker. Love the boots with jeans and skirts!

Very comfortable and cute!

I ordered the Born Syd and Born Cross, the Syd in my shoe size of 7.5 and and 8 (my boot size). (Some reviews suggested sizing ran a half size too large). The 7.5 was way too snug whereas the 8 fit perfectly with immediate comfort, cushioning and support that is truly hard for me to find. I have an ataxic gait with balance problems secondary to an autoimmune disease. The boot is warm with an extremely soft fabric interior, so welcome for the north east cold months. I had been to a specialty shoe store that specializes in offerings for the delightfully "problem feet" of our times, but I could not balance in any of the many I tried on or they simply did not have the supports I need in a good and reliably flexible soul that has a slight heel for better posture alignment and facilitates the "heel toe" foot movement. The Syd boot provides ample area for the toe area. The Syd boot unlike my two pair of past born booties from years ago have less room around the lower calf but still enough to house fitted jeans. I am beginning to feel that this is a better option for me at this time. I am not one in need of many shoes in my life time and struggle so to even find sneakers that make sense to my brain. I chose the Syd over the Cross as to me they seemed more supportive (a very subjective experience) If I was more mobile with a need for funky boots I might have also kept the Cross. I simply closed my eyes and allowed my brain to choose. Thank you Zappos for the incredible service as always.

I ordered 4 completely different pairs of boots. These boots were so comfortable that I choose to wear them to work the day after I received all of the boots. They have plenty of room around my toes and have pretty good support. I have a standing desk so they aren't quite as comfortable as my sneakers but they are holding up pretty well so far. They feel best when I am walking around rather than just standing but that is true for almost anything I wear all day. I have really narrow feet so these boots leave room for thicker socks when I need to stay warmer.

I love Born boots and have found that they are comfortable right out of the box...Same goes for this pair. I generally wear a 7 to 7.5 in most shoes. But for Born I can always wear a 6.5 (without socks). This is the same with this pair. As with other Born boots I have...Over time I find that the leather naturally stretches, I end up wearing a thin pair of socks with them. I am sure this will be the same with these. Also, they do run on the narrow side. But will loosen up over time, naturally. These boot are super cute. They have cute plaid on the inside fabric. I may try to flip the front of the boot down to show that cute accent. Born as become my "go to" boot due to comfort, style and versatility!

They are very comfortable. I'm a size 9 but have to get a 9 1/2 sometimes. This 9 fit great. Super comfy. I got a compliment the first time I wore them out.

Very comfy boot. I’m an 8.5 and had to return and get a 9 but I like wearing fairly thick socks. I suspect it will give a little with wear as it feels like good quality sturdy leather. Very happy so far but they will require a little break in period. Very cute too!

Comfortable, casual boots that felt comfortable right out of the box. Would love to see a waterproof version for our rainy winters, but the comfort and style work for me.

Cute, but I'm looking for my perfect fit for my very picky feet. Bunions, foot surgery, all kinds of stuff going on with my dear feet! These are not the ones, but for someone with less fussy feet, these boots could be a great match!

Very well-made boots. The color was a rich gray-brown. The nubuck was a good quality. But.... I didn't care for the distressed look.

I can always depend on Born to be consistent with their sizing. It makes things so much easier when you are ordering online. These boots look and feel great and they are true to size

Beautiful and comfortable. It is a bit longer than expected. I wear a size 10. The width is regular. Does not feel tight at all. The color is unique. Color looks distressed and fashionable. Perfect casual boots!

The fit seems just a little long and narrow, even though I ordered size 8.5, a half size smaller than my “recommended” size. The right shoe is fine while the left is just a little snug, so hoping it will stretch a bit. The material is soft, supple and beautiful. They have nice padding so seem very comfortable. It’s been so cold, however, I’ve been wearing tall winter boots. Looking forward to wearing these when the weather warms up. They look great with leggings and skirts. I like the smaller circumference of the opening so there is not a huge gap between the boot and one’s ankle, which seems to be the case with many ankle boots. These are very stylish and can be dressed up or down
