These are really cute boots but they are too narrow and tight. The length was good, I am a size 8 but to tight across the middle of my foot. I had to send them back.

These seem like really nice boots and are well made. They run much smaller than actual size. I would order up a half or whole size larger. They are really cute boots on but unfortunately I had to return them because they were too small.

Love these! I am a fan of Born shoes/boots-nice leather, soft footbed padding and they look great. I highly recommend.

I Loved these boots. The style, the sale price at the time and it was just what I was looking for. I have a regular foot. Size wise they were fine. They were so tight and would have needed a substantial breaking in that I would have never been able to do. I don't feel I would have worn them enough to really break them in. If you have a narrower foot that's probably the best boot for you If you have a regular foot or a wide foot and not at all. If you were boots a lot and you're okay breaking something in I say go for it but I never wore them out of my living room They were extremely tight and I sent them back very sadly sent them back.

This boot fit well, maybe a little flat feeling with moderate arch support. Great distressed style and the brown color is true to the pictures, enough of a heel and the sole will be good for wet or snowy conditions.

They are very comfortable. Just ordered them in August and I am looking forward to wearing them in the fall. Love the color and style

Overall, these boots are great. As for the size, I guess they run a little large. I normally wear a 6.5, but needed to order a 6 for these. I also usually need a wide, but the medium width of these seems fine. The arch support is moderate, and they not stiff or heavy, which I like.

I normally take a size 6.5, but this was surprisingly good at 6. I bought both sizes to make sure, and returned the 6.5 after trying them both. I love the look and feel of them. The medium width worked fine for my feet, which sometimes need a wide shoe. The arch support was moderate, just enough. I love the style, and these will probably be comfortable although I haven't worn them except for briefly so far. Thank you Born!

The fit is true to size; however, they need to be worn with thinner socks because they run a little narrower. The taupe is a great neutral color to go with many different outfits. I bought the Faywood and Syd and Syd won the pick. It is one inch taller than the Faywood and this workered better for me. The toe is round with a little more room than the almond toe on the other shoe. Would actually recommend both shoes. The Syd worked better for me!! Both are good looking shoes so it can be a win-win!!

I purchased these in my usual size, 7.5. They seem to fit fine but the top of my foot hits the boot. I would like this part to be roomier. I don't think these will be comfortable wearing all day. unfortunately they are being returned

I love a soft soled boot and these are perfect

Through no fault with these gorgeous boots I can't wear them. Broke my ankle now have a plate. Zipper area is right on it. Love them wish I could keep them

Very solid boot. A wardrobe staple. These are very comfortable to wear and easy to put on and take off. They will be a fall, winter, spring regular in my shoe rotation.

I had some Borns many years ago that were not very comfortable, so I was a little wary of getting these. But, they are great! Really comfortable, and I love how they look. I have a small, narrow foot, and have always worn a size 5. The smallest they have is a 6, so I ordered those and they fit well, in both the length and width.

Love these! Very comfortable and stylish. I was able to peel out the innersoles and put in my custom orthotics. There is plenty of room in the toe box to accommodate them. The outer sole and heel are made of some kind of springy rubber so that they are really comfortable to walk in. Also, the heel appears to be a solid piece of the rubber material so there is no thin printed paper wrapping on the heel to peel off with wear. Very happy with this purchase.

I love Born and was looking to replace a worn-out pair of Born booties. These are a little higher (as in the go above the ankle) than my previous version, but they are still sexy (says my husband), and quite comfortable.

Born shoes never disappoint, I wanted a pair of taupe boots. I had been watching these Sorels boots for awhile. But own 2 pairs of Born boots already, I technically wear a 10.5, but can wear a born boot in a 10 comfortably. Wore these boots for the first time. And they are comfortable as I expected them to be. Love the rugged look to them, definitely recommend these puppies...?

Super cute, true to size and comfortable if you do not have bunions. I was hoping to find a boot similar to fit and comfort of the Born "Cross" boot from a few years ago. "Syd" is on a very similar foot bed but it's not a soft suede like "Cross" so the one boot was just too tight across my bunion. I wasn't willing to try a break in period so am returning them. I am to the point where I need comfort all over straight out of the box, fortunately Zappos makes trying to find a cute, comfortable right out of the box experience possible...so I will keep trying. Thank you Zappos!

I love them! Overall they are very comfortable and they look great with any outfit. The only issue I had, the left side was tight on the width. The right side was perfect. I own several of the same brand and never had an issue. I almost exchanged it but I loved them and I was afraid the next size would be too big. I just kept it on all day and it gave in enough were it’s not so tight. They are gorgeous and I’m glad i kept them!

Fit is perfect! SO incredibly comfy!! Style is exactly what I wanted. Not at all clunky, which I was afraid of. I absolutely LOVE these! I took a long time researching this type of boot for the winter and I can already tell it was the perfect choice and they will be my go-to footwear of the season. The only thing I decided to forgo is that I don’t think these are waterproof, but I’m just going to treat them with a waterproof spray. To me, that was a small concession, based on the pluses of the rest of the shoe. Very happy with these!!
