These are beautiful boots and very well-made. True to size in my experience. I get a cowboy boot vibe when I put them on, and so I am unsure whether I will keep them. I was not expecting a western-type boot, but I can’t help it, it’s what I see when I put them on. If that’s what you like, then go for it!

I love this brand & I love these shoes. Comfy & look great with leggings, tights & jeans.

Great boots right out of the box. No breaking in period. Pure comfort! I’m usually 7 1/2 and that’s what I ordered. Perfect fit. I do wear smart wool socks with them which aren’t real thick. I like them so well I would consider ordering them in another color. I ordered basic black and they are distressed which is okay. If you are looking for solid black they may not suit you.

I just received these yesterday, so I haven’t actually worn them out yet, but I already know I will love them. Comfortable out of the box. Perfect color for me, not too gray and not too brown. They are just slightly “distressed,” so that I am not going to be worried about little scratches and marks when I wear them. I am very pleased with this purchase and am donating both my brown and black (cheap) suede boots because these will fit the bill perfectly.

Permit fit and ordered my normal size 7.5. Light weight and comfort right out of the box. Love these and want them in another color. Ordered the black and very happy.

I love the Born Syd boots! I have them in Distressed Dark Grey and Distressed Rust. They look great with leggings, jeans, and tights/dresses. I am on my feet most of the day and these boots keep my feet happy from morning to night! They are true to size, and comfortable right out of the box. Fabulous!

I have the worst feet in the world. I have bunions on either side of both my feet, high arches and a skinny and I work 12 hour days. These are the only shoes that work for me. Also, they are cute enough to wear with dresses or jeans.

LOVE LOVE LOVE these! They are very comfortable. I normally wear a 6.5 in all born boots and these are no different.

I feel these are true to size. There very comfortable and when you walk the heel of the shoe doesn't drop to the floor; it stays close to your foot. A really great feature. So many boots or shoes the heel section is too loose or floppy. Not so with these. It feels good on the foot. The reason I am returning them is because the sole has no good grip. A wavy pattern is craved in the sole but not deep enough. I can't afford to fall. Well made and if you don't need a good grip there great.

Very comfortable shoe right out of the box. I normally wear an 8 Slim shoe. I ordered an 8M, and it was huge. Returned and ordered the 7 1/2 M and it is perfect, even for my narrow foot.

These boots are fantastic! Easy to get on and off, so comfortable, and you can dress them up or down. Just a little touch of biker.

The leather is very stiff. I had to shoehorn my feet in. They seem about the same fit as my old boots, but it will take some breaking in around the house before I want to wear these for any length of time. They do appear to be very rugged though.

Very nice but too narrow for my feet because I have a bunion.

I bought this boot to wear with jean leggings for my jobsite visits. They are comfortable right out of the box, no break in time needed. Leather is soft. Insoles are comfortable but they don’t have much arch support. I can tell because my heel slightly hurt after day of wear. I will try to add arch inserts to help with that. Also, shoe feels a half size too big. I normally wear 8.5 size shoes and the toe on this shoe is tad longer, but I don’t mind. Otherwise color is great, shoe is comfortable. Rubber heel may not last long, but better than hard heels like Frye boots (walking on blocks!)

Love them. My 2nd pair. However, I wish the heel was repairable. I hate throwing away perfectly comfortable boots because the heel wears down.

Super cute ankle boots; will try them with dresses and leggings, in addition to pants & dressing up some jeans. Nice color for them being suede; not too faded. So much cushion, as is normal for Born shoes. Doesn’t require too much wearing in. Not too bad for slightly wide feet. Lots of room in the toe box.

After trying two other pairs of booties from Zappos, these turned out to be the right fit. Most booties seem to hit me at the wrong place on my ankle and it rubs the front shin. These shoes were a little taller and roomier in the front and they felt great. 81/2 was just a little loose for me but with my ortho insoles they fit great! Very pleased with my purchase.
