I wanted to try a new pair of chacon and thought the double-strapped style would be more feminine looking than my old (circa 2007!) pair of thick-strapped chacos. I was right about that - the sandals looked way more cute on my feet than my old ones. 2 problems: 1) When I adjusted the straps, I wasn’t able to tighten them to fit snugly around my ankles, and for that reason they slapped against my heels when I walked. Very annoying as they should have stayed on my feet better. 2) The more I walked, the more the toe loop tightened on my big toe, even after readjusting it several times. Felt like there was too much strap length for my feet- maybe a more “high-volume” foot would find them more comfortable. Ended up returning them.

I feel ambivalent re these sandals. I loved the way they look & was excited when they came. However regardless of the arch support & sizing (fabulous!) I was defeated by the fastening. I had expected a quick lock connection. There is none. There was only something to tighten the straps but nothing to assure me that it would stay fastened & they did not. I almost tripped myself when I took a step. The sandal was hanging on my foot. This is not a good feeling for a woman of a certain age who has already fallen & broken an ankle. Must return.

I wanted to love these but the right sandal was digging into the top of my foot. Strange that the left sandal did not. I adjusted the straps numerous times to no avail.

These just don't work for my foot shape. I tried these in an 8D and 7D. I believe the attached photo is the 8D. Even with the 7s, the straps aren't in the right place for my feet. I have wide feet and somewhat low arches, and my pinky toes always travel toward the outer edge of the shoe. I could tell these would be painful to have those straps pushing on the lower pinky all the time. Bummer, because I love the arch support!

I'm a little disappointed in these. I have a wide foot, but most regular sized sport sandals fit me. This one felt okay when I tried it on (the arch support is more than I'm used to but I thought it would be good for me). But after wearing a long time, my feet hurt and the straps keep tightening as I walk so I have to adjust them often. If you have a slightly wide foot then I would definitely recommend buying the wide. There is a ridge on the inside of the arch that will bruise your foot if they are even slightly wide. That's not apparent when you try them on.

My narrow flat feet were too much for these Chacos. I could not adjust enough for a good fit. I wish Chacos made an actual sandal for narrow feet, as they do for wide.

Very nice shoes. Super sad they didn't fit. They are not made for wide feet or feet that have a thicker tops. My feet are not fat just wide and they did not fit over the toe and the bands did not fit around the top of my feet.

I thought this was a terrible sandal. Too many strap adjustments to make to get them to feel even somewhat OK, but definitely not very wearable.

This is the second time I have tried to buy a pair of Chacos. Their strap system just doesn't work for me; after tightening the straps to fit my foot there is always extra strap sticking up or out that has nowhere to go. Sending back and giving up on Chacos. I know you can send them somewhere to get a customized fit but that is too much trouble for a new pair of sandals.

They kept tightening up as I wore them. Seriously disappointed in them. I review based on fit, since my husband tells me I have duck feet; wide in front with a narrow heel. They were fine in the footbed. Plenty wide.

1st off, I have a pair of Chacos I purchased 10+ years ago. The sole is so solid it still shows no wear. They are single strap which I had no problem adjusting. These however, are going right back as I worked on adjustment for an hour and still cant get a good fit. Never was good at "cat's cradle". What the instructions dont tell you is that the outside side strap is stable, i.e. it doesnt move. The top strap of the split does adjust. Anywho, I wanted to try these as I have a nasty bump on top of my foot due to arthritis and I thought I could move that strap around it. Nope, it landed right on top of said bump, cant be adjusted and as a result I couldnt get the right sandal on. Bummer, coz the Cloud sole was way more comfortable than the Classic. 4th pair of sandals returning this month. Might have to settle for a new pair of Birks.

I exchanged the first pair for wide, but these hurt my feet as well. There are 2 bumps in the heel area that dig into my heel when I walk. I have multiple pairs of leather Chaco sandals and love them, but these just don’t make the cut. They are also very heavy.

For the price I paid for these sandals, I expected high quality shoes. Having only worn the sandals in the summer and just for walks around the neighborhood on paved sidewalks, the shoe lasted one year before the sole started to completely split in half. This is clearly a defect in the shoe and when I reached out to their customer support about the issue, they didn't reply for 2 weeks until I sent them a followup email, and they told me that I can send my shoe to them and pay $40 for them to fix the sole. What a joke - they want me to pay almost half of what I paid just to repair what was clearly a poor quality sole. I've never had shoes just split in half like that. Not only is the shoe about to split completely in half, but the straps feel like they are always way too tight around the big toe no matter how many times you keep loosening the straps. These shoes are garbage and so is Chaco's warranty and customer service. What a disappointing purchase.

Love these sandals and they’re super cute! I walk around in them all day and my feet don’t hurt. I could even go hiking in them with no problem. They are perfect for summer and going anywhere that involves water!

Cute sandal - love the color - Overhaul Blue. The support feels better than some of the other Chaco sandals, similar to a pair I had several years ago. I appreciate the Women's 12 is long enough for my Women's 13 foot.

This is my second pair, I’ve owned the previous one’s for 7 years and really walked them bare. I love that they are so versatile and really can be worn with anything, at least I do. Hands down, my favorite pair of sandals!

Fits great and I really love the look. Super comfy! only thing I was annoyed with is you can not adjust the strap that goes around your heel and for me it’s a bit to small so my heel feels like it’s going to slide out the back at times. I also had to tie a knot in the strap because once it was tighten I kept stepping on the extra strap. Overall great but if you have a smaller ankle you definitely have to figure out how to make adjustments.

Definitely good for people who need a high arch.

Great shoes for golfing.

I got the fun multi-colored version, they fit right out of the box, went for a walk and felt really comfy and light.

Toes straps uncomfortable no matter how they were adjusted on the left foot. Right foot toe straps were fine.

These are softer than my older Chacos and fit perfectly right out of the box.

Awesome river sandals

These sandals were Chaco wonderful... However, my feet have changed, and the Women's W is no longer wide enough for me... I've had to go to the Men's sandals for increased width! That's the only reason I'm returning these beauties...

Size, arch support, and color are excellent. I have bunions, and currently working out the straps to have them stay in the correct position when wearing them. I love the arch support, and they go with most my clothing. Will break them in gradually before wearing them on longer walks. I am 69 years old, and the cushiony footbed is easy on my feet. Still excited to have colorful sandals along with all my Birkenstocks.
