Usually wear 8-1/2 wide, but 9 medium fit, to my pleasant surprise! Zappos, PLEASE keep more size wides in stock, especially in the style with 2 narrow straps & toe loop, including Cloud styles--double narrow straps are much more dainty! Also wish Chaco's would make more of above in Cloud style! LOVE the light gray footbed--no black, thank you very much! These were recommended by my chiropractor for my back issues, and, they DO help! Very comfortable after couple days of strap adjustments when new. PLEASE make all your womens sandals in ZX2 in light gray foot bed! Black is too hot & doesn't look good for women! Highly recommend but want to see above changes! (Sales or less expensive price would be much appreciated!)

My first pair of Chacos! And I can't believe it took me this long to order! They are super comfortable. I am a true 9 1/2 and the 9 fit fine. I was also worried that they would be to wide for my narrow feet but not at all. The adjustable straps work very well. I would fully recommend this shoe!

I loved them but if I walked for more than 10 minutes over time the big toe straps would tighten and I had to stop otherwise my toe was bring strangled. It was super uncomfortable and would leave deep marks on my toes. I tried adjusting the straps many times and had the same result. Unfortunately I couldn't keep these. Bummer because they were comfortable and had great support when I first put them on!

Omg it has take two people with advanced degrees 2 hours to figure out these shoes. They are super cute but very fussy and frustrating to put on. We read the instructions and watched the video and tinkered with them all night. Maybe I have funky feet bit this feels like a lot of work for shoes.

I love the look of these shoes. Unfortunately within 10 minutes of wearing them and walking, the straps around the toe start to tighten and become very uncomfortable. Chacos recommends getting the straps wet and says that should solve the problem. If I do that, then I would for sure not able to return the shoes if that didn't solve the problem.

My fourth pair of Chacos. They last forever, but I really wanted all black. I found them on sale at Zappos. The toe loop can be a bit tricky in the beginning, but you figure it using instructions with shoes. These are my go anywhere shoes. Festivals, swimming, boating and hiking, or just running errands.

Chaco Z2's have the best arch support... better than any other sandal out there. And they are cute, too! I love the colored straps, also. I have about 5 pairs of these exact sandals!

I am a true size 9, and ordered a 9. These were perfect and the size on sale price was a steal!

I’ll admit I was nervous getting this shoe based on reviews about its comfort, tightening issues, and size differences. I normally wear a 8-8.5 in sandals and an 8 was perfect in Chacos. I followed the instructions that come with the shoe about how to loosen and tighten the straps correctly and after a little bit of learning, I was able to get the straps in the relatively correct positions. I agree that the straps, once tightened, are too long. Will need to get them shortened. Overall, really looking forward to wearing these on warmer days and having a shoe that lasts a long time. I have planters that require more support than flats and these fit the bill!

Sizing was perfect - I ordered up (I'm a 9.5 and I ordered a 10). The added padding makes these very comfortable. I'll be enjoying them for a long time.

Kid outgrew the last pair. Bought an identical replacement. These shoes handle the tough outdoors and lifestyle of an active 13 year old for hiking, white water rafting, rock scrambling and kayaking. Asked for the plain black ones. Need to adjust fit before a trip to ensure best fit. Highly recommend these Chacos.

I love Chacos! I just bought this pair and the Navy pair and love them. Perfect fit- just like the 3 pairs that I just had to retire after SEVEN years. I can walk 5 miles in these shoes or wear them all day and my feet are happy!

First time buying this brand and almost sent back due to the excess strap that flaps every time I walk. they are comfortable so I'm keeping but why have so much strap?

Love these sandals! I was looking for something comfortable for several days at Disney. I couldn’t bear the thought of wearing socks and sneakers for 3 long days in the Florida heat. My brother told me he has a pair of Chacos that’s he’s worn for 20 (!) years. We both have long skinny feet so I figured if they fit his foot well, they’d be comfortable for me too. It took me a minute to get the hang of the straps but once I did, I was sold. A great purchase that I know I’ll be wearing for years.

I've been a long-time Teva girl, but I live in Oregon, and Chacos are quite popular, so I thought I'd give them a whirl. I am usually a 9.5 and I got a 9 in the pink and gray color. I was confused at first because all the straps are adjustable in a way that's not obvious, and I hadn't read that in the reviews. I thought they were waaay too small. Then I saw the instructions and figured it out. After a little pulling here and there, I got a great fit. After wearing them the second day for a long walk to and from a fair, part of the bottom of my foot hurt, likely as I adjusted to the fabulous arch support, but it went away the next day. I primarily use these for bike rides and hiking, and they work great!

I have horrible feet, having neuropathy, flat feet and weak ankles. These do give support and are comfortable. Hard for me to get on quickly. I drive barefoot and have to take then off and put them on which is a chore. Need more room for the big toe it is a bit tight my toe nail grabs onto the lace and it is not long a little more room wil solve the problem

This is a comfy shoe. It was my first pair of Chaco's and I didn't realize the double-strap styles self tighten as you walk. That was a bit of a pain. I'll definitely purchase Chaco's again, but I'll stick to single strap in the future.

I have this same shoe, same size (8), in a different color and it fits perfectly. But the size 8 in the black was WAY too big. The sole was fine, but the heel strap could not be tightened enough and the shoes kept sliding off. I exchanged for a size 7 and they fit like they should. (I normally wear a 7.5 in other shoes.)

I love these shoes and have them in several colors. I thought this would be a relatively bright sunflower orange-yellow based on the photo, but the actual color is duller and greener. It's an attractive shade, just not what I was looking for.

I ordered these on ebay and I think they may have been incorrectly marked because I think all of them have a W for women, not for wide. However, it would be nice if Chaco more clearly marked their shoes to prevent this confusion. I ordered an 8W which I think should have fit but the shoes I received were a bit narrow, at least for a wide. Well the top adjustable strappy part was narrow, the bottom part of the shoe was very wide and clunky looking. It did loosen up a bit over time where it didn't look as much like my foot was exploding out of it but the problem is that it gives me blisters on the side of my foot and I actually have never had a blister there before. These are cute but the thing is that these are sports sandals and they look like sports sandals. I get blisters from walking the dog in them. I know most people aren't cursed with wide feet and probably will be better able to find their size but this is my reality. I also purchased the Teva infinity sandals and I was much happier with those as a person with wide feet. I wear them all the time to walk the dog in and I think they are just as cute. The Tevas were much more comfortable. I can see Chacos being a better hiking sandals than Tevas if you get some that fit you right but for me the Tevas were better.

I think these would be amazing for anyone who has normal gait or who overpronates (feet roll inward). As an underpronator/supinator (my feet roll outward), the arch support - both in height and firmness - is too much. The sandals looked great on my feet, and the quality seemed excellent, they just would work better for someone else. Also, I wear a 7.5 and the 8 was really big, so half sizes probably should size down.

The footbed was super comfortable and these would’ve been perfect if only they had a way to secure the strap in back. It just flops around and looks ridiculous. it seems like they could’ve added a little belt loop type of thing to tuck the strap into.

I like that you can can walk in water or get wet and they look great. The downside, no arch support.

I loved the color of these! I know many people love their Chacos, and I really tried, but they didn't work for me. After 10 steps, the buckle strap would loosen and after a few more, the toe loop would tighten until way too tight. Chacos will "repair" the toe loop issue by inserting something to make the strap hold; however, I'd have to pay to ship them to Chacos. For the problem of the buckle strap loosening, Chacos recommended I soak them upside down in water with a bit of fabric softener added in. These are great ideas, but no guarantee it will solve the issues. I chose to return the shoes and get my money back while I could. If I tried any of their ideas, I would no longer be able to return the shoes. These are pricey shoes to not know right out of the box that they'll fit well.
