I finally had to purchase a new pair of Chacos - my other ones were beyond repair and 10+ years old. I'm glad I did! I love these! They're lighter and softer than my old ones and fit true to size.

Once I figured out how to adjust the straps on these shoes, I absolutely love them. I have plantar fasciitis pretty bad in my rt foot and was looking for a comfortable pair of beach/water shoes for summer that I can walk in, these fit the bill.

these look nice on and are pretty enough to wear with dresses or skirts, even though athletic. Two issues: the footbed is much harder than i would have liked and doesn't give much cushioning to your step even though it looks thick. Also the strap dangles low as it's just too long and there is no place to tuck it. really should be trimmed so i need to think about whether to send back to the company and request that as the dangling of the strap detracts a good deal from its look.

I liked the sandal, but felt it needed the toe strap to be secure.

I am used to the Chacos with the toe hold. I felt that the sole was flapping when I walked- and could not adjust enough. Going back.

I guess my feet and ankles are too small for Chacos. Adjusting the straps to the smallest they could be around my foot resulted in a huge amount of excess strap that couldn't be taken in around the ankle. They flapped around whenever I took a step. So I guess it's Teva style sandals for me.

The straps are too loose even after being adjusted.

I have somewhat wide feet, and could barely get my feet into them, so I returned them. They feel like they’d have lots of support though.

Everything about these shoes was great except for the textured footbed, which was uncomfortable.

These shoes are very comfortable once you figure out how to adjust the straps. I wish the website was a little more clear on that; perhaps a video?

I have high arches. I recently read that people with high arches should wear shoes with a "neutral profile". The Chaco brand is not such a brand. I have morton's neuroma and was hoping these would help. I couldn't wear them long enough to find out.

The sandal seemed very comfortable to wear, if I could have gotten the straps adjusted right. So I'm returning them.

I liked the style of these, but sadly had to return as the width across the front of the foot is not adjustable and felt super narrow. For these, size down for length, but size up for width!

I absolutely love these shoes! For size reference, I’m usually a 9.5. I went with a nine, which was definitely the right call. The only issue I have with them is how long the strap is. Once adjusted to my desires, the strap is so long that it drags along the ground. I’m worried about a difference in the shoes’ lifetime because of this but, it’s a small price to pay for extreme comfort.

This is a great sandal and I love the color, but it wasn't going to work for me due to some mobility issues: the sole was a little thick, I could catch my toe and trip, and the straps on the top weren't secure enough for me, again, re the mobility issues they didn't hold my foot securely. But for someone with no problems like that, go for it, it's very comfortable and a good fit! Sure wish they had worked for me.

The straps are a bit uncomfortable and tend to rub against my feet while walking.

The fit was great, this is my first pair of Chacos so I was a bit nervous about how they’d fit - I’m a true size 9 (I go up half a size for running and hiking shoes) and these were perfect size 9’s. There is a bit of fussing with the straps at the top of the foot near the toes when you put them on, but otherwise they’re great - I’ve worn them camping, kayaking, gardening, and very short hikes where I didn’t care if my feet got dirty, and they’ve been great!

I prefer the single wider strap than the thin double straps. I'm sure this is just a preference, but this style did not feel as comfortable to me as the Mega Z/Cloud or the Z/Cloud. Both of those are more comfortable to me than this one.

I had read mixed reviews on whether to size up or size down as a half size. I sized up because they didn't have my size in the size down (and I normally size up in this case anyway--my running shoes are usually half a size up). Way too big! Unfortunately had to return, but I hope I can save someone else the trouble. Definitely size down to the smaller size if you're in between.

The fit is perfect! I’m a good 10.5, but 10s fit me excellent in the Chaco z cloud and Chaco mega z cloud. I love these shoes! The only reason I took off a star is because I wanted to try these for the double strap, since they appear more feminine. But, they are way more difficult to adjust in my opinion! I returned them and will be ordering the mega z cloud for the softer/thicker strap and softer footbed.

This is my kid’s second pair of this model. Fit and style are great. The rubber is fairly porous. With the previous pair, the rubber got a bit smelly. The older models never did that. Willing to take a chance again.

I normally wear a 6.5/37, but the W6 in Chaco’s fit me fine. I have a 2yr old pair of Chaco’s that feel fabulous for arch support and comfort. The toe strap seems to synch up as the day goes on, so I have the straps very loose and wear them more as slip-ons. They still work fine for leisure walking. I was so excited to see that they have styles now that don’t have the toe strap. The ZCloudX is so cute and love the Askew Angora color that goes with everything. Also tried the ZCloud and MegaZCloud. I was so disappointed to find that the new models are slightly narrower. I have normal to narrow feet so was really surprised. I know this will bother me over time so I am reluctantly returning them all. I tried to re-order in wide and they seem to be out of stock in my size.

I wish Chacos would do half sizes -- I'm a 9.5 and I always buy the 10 because the 9 is just a little too short for me, but the 10 looks like I'm a little kid wearing a parent's shoes. I do appreciate that they do wide widths. The adjustment of the straps on this style versus the ones with the toe strap is a little less adjustable but they are still comfortable.
