I bought the double strap version last year, without the Cloud sole, and didn't find them comfortable enough. I thought these would be better but they still didn't feel quite right. I have a bunion and like sandals with toe loops but also felt that the strap might hurt a bit. I didn't want to risk trying to break them in so am returning them and probably going back to Tevas.

These fit fantastic! I don’t have high arches, nor do I have flat feet; yet, this fit is perfect for my moderate arches. I ended up returning them only because I really wanted to try the toe loop! But, it just isn’t comfortable for me, despite how stylish it is. I love z cloud chacos, but since I have [bigger] feet (size 10.5) and enjoy hiking, I switched to the mega z cloud. This version has thicker straps and an even softer footbed and I’m OBSESSED! I’m a size 10.5 but 10 in chacos fit me excellent.

I normally wear a size 12 and that's the size I ordered. They fit great. The whole adjustable 1 strap system takes getting use to. Sometimes I feel like it's strangling my big toe, but after a few tugs from side to side, everything works out. They're great for all day wear and have a lot of support.

Cute sandals. The foot bed was comfortable and true to size (8M) but the adjustable straps across the top of the foot were too tight for me as my foot is wider at the front than at the heel.

I like them for summer outings, and it was really hard to find them in my size. Thanks Zappos! However, the strap adjustment requires patience, and must be adjusted each time I put them on. If my feet swell, more adjustment is needed or else I get red strap marks on my feet. I got the ones with the extra cushioning, which is a must. They seem rugged and can get them wet or sandy and then it's soap, rinse, dry in the sun. I don't know if I'd get them again.

I love the style, but the toe strap didn’t work for me. I would adjust it to my comfort, but it would tighten up as I walked and squeeze my toe! I returned this pair and got the z/1 with out the toe loop. I wear 8.5 and the 9 was too big (arch support not in right spot), so I ordered a size 8 and they fit just right.

It was overall a good product. For those who don’t wear sandals with toe straps I do not recommend the toe strap. But they are comfy and fit for my long summer camp days!

I wear an 8.5, and after ready by reviews I ordered an 8. It was just a bit too small. Sent it back and ordered a 9. Almost felt the exact same. I kinda feel like the back strap allows my foot to sit right on the edge and there is no way to adjust it. I do love them once I got used to my foot being right at the end of the shoe. Very comfortable for all different activities.

I bought these for my daughter for camp. Chacos are the best combo of sandal and sneaker, in our opinion. Great for water play and for light hiking. She loves the color- said it was very vibrant and she liked the pattern. These were easier to adjust than the double-strapped Chacos we've had in the past. The sole is a bit stiff at first, but feels ok and should be worn in easily. That's likely why Chacos last a long time. My daughter wears an 8-8.5 in shoes but we ordered up. The size 9 fits great. Enjoy!

I don't think I would wear these. The style is not usually something I pick out for myself. The area around the toe was a little uncomfortable for my style.

I bought these for a trip to HI. I didn't have enough time to break them in before the trip so I had to send them back. I found these to be heavy, and the smell was terrible. I'm glad I didn't taken them on my trip since there was no way I could hike in these. I know people do, but it seems dangerous.

I've been having some trouble with the toe strap strangling my big toe. I will adjust all of the straps to exactly how I want it to feel, and then I will walk 10 steps and it's back to strangling my big toe. It also rubs my feet right below my ankle and directly on the other side of my foot. They work great for getting up early and slipping something on for swim practice and biking, but the rubbing and strangling it definitely putting a damper on my excitement of my new shoes.

These were my second pair of Chacos. My first pair also had the toe strap. I had no issues with the straps on my first pair. I have now owned these shoes for over a year. The soles are super comfortable, but the straps are a pain. The straps adjust while you are wearing them such that the straps around my toes tighten so much that they nearly cut off the circulation in each toe. While the straps are adjustable, it is difficult to adjust them the right way to allow for my toes to breathe. When I first bought them last year, I hoped that they would adjust to my feet in time, and I would not have to deal with this issue. Unfortunately, I continue to have the same issue. I recently drove in them for a 4+ hour trip. I had to pull over to fix the straps of my shoes.

Beautiful colors and true to size but it fit awkwardly around the toes.

They fit great and seemed like an excellent choice except the footbed has too much friction and rubbed my feet red after wearing in the house for an hour or two so I returned them.

I was super excited about the wider width since my foot always went over the original width pair, but it was too big... the arch didn't quite sit right and felt like it was really pressing on my foot. The sandal itself also felt kind of heavy. Bummed!

I liked the look of them a lot but they really squished my pinkie toe and then the other two straps were too loose and they couldn't be tightened. I returned them.

These shoes were (mostly) great for my trip to South America a few years ago. The size 6 fit my 6.5 feet just fine. I liked that I could wear them in the water or to go on short, dirt path hikes. However, after using them in the water, the straps became kind of "glued" in place and required great effort to adjust after they dried. Perhaps some mud or something crusted in them a little. The soles are great and comfortable on my feet, and this style works well to hide my bunions without causing them any pain. However, I could NEVER get the straps exactly right. One side always had a lot of leftover "slack" and the strap would hang down almost falling over the edge of my foot. Some parts of the straps would be too tight or not tight enough and unless you have the little manual in front of you, it's impossible to remember which straps to pull to loosen and tighten, etc. It was incredibly frustrating. I just wanted a sandal that was simple to adjust. The positive of this style is that if you don't want the extra toe strap, you can just tighten it until it's flat and use it as a regular Chaco sandal (if you need to wear socks or just don't want the toe support). I wish I could return them since they are too frustrating to make my everyday summer sandal, but alas it's too late.

I normally wear a ten. Zappos recommended a nine for these and they were the right length/width, except for a strange defect with the straps: when I tightened down the straps so the shoe fit comfortably, there was so much excess that the end of the strap dragged on the ground when I walked, which was super annoying. My feet aren't too narrow for the shoes otherwise, and I have a high arch, so I can't explain it. Otherwise, I found these attractive and comfortable (loved the arch support). Was bummed to return them.

I really love the look of these shoes and had hoped to use them for trail hiking, but the arch is *aggressive* and felt like it was ever-so-slightly too far back. I usually prefer shoes with good arch support, but these are too painful to even walk across my living room, so definitely won't be wearing them on the trail. A size bigger might fix the arch placement problem, but then they'd be way too big. Also, even after endless adjustments, the toe strap on one shoe kept getting tighter and tighter with each step. These just aren't the shoes for me, sadly.

I tried several Chaco's and realized I need the toe loop to keep my foot held into the shoe properly. Arch isn't in the right spot for me.

I’m new to Chaco sports sandals and was excited to see that this brand caters for high arches. I ordered a few different styles to try. I really liked the color and strap width on the Z/Cloud 2 sandal. I’m usually a size 7.5 but the size 7 medium width was good length and width. It also really supported my high arched foot. However, the big disappointment was that the strap is not long enough to accommodate my high shaped foot. Because there was so little strap, the buckle sat right at the top of my foot and just looked daft. It seems a bit ironic that this sandal’s USP is providing great support for high arches yet the straps are not long enough. I did consider trying the wider fit, thinking that I’d then get the longer strap but decided that the wider shoe base wouldn’t work. Chaco please consider providing an extra 1.5 inches of strap for high arched womens’ higher top of foot.

I really wanted these to work. Tried the women's 8D too small no matter how adjusted, tried the men's 7D too big no matter how adjusted, tried the women's 9D too big. Tried with and without the toe loop which was uncomfortable for me. Finally gave up and bought Teva XLT cross strap men's 7D they fit!
